    I have a asp FileUpload control in my aspx page. Now, I'm required to do the "check-extension" in the other way: at the moment the client click and choose FileUpload, an alert show "Extension of files are not allowed.". I need a way to make an alert show at the momment the FileUpload choosed in browser. Help!!!!

(Normally I only use document.ready, but in this case I need to insert some Information into the DOM that then is present, when document.ready is called. This is some kind of "happens-before" relations ship I want to achieve so that I am shure when document.ready is called the inserted Form field is available in the document, as I depend on that information.     I'm having issues with a table. The problem is that I'm getting the SQL error: Column count doesn’t match value count at row 1 The database is an innoDB and all columns are varChar/Char except for the ID field which is an auto increment primary key.

    I want to comment several lines in my .vimrc, the usual way I do it is :x,ys/^/"/ and x stands for the start line number and y stands for the line number of the last line. I read some post which said in visual mode this task can be done by the following step: 1 Select your lines with VISUAL BLOCK 2 press I to insert before all highlighted lines. 3 type your comment charact , in this case should be " 4 then ESC I fllowed the above steps and met met problems in step 2 . the thing is when I select the lines in Visual mode and press I , vim ( I use version7.2) go back to insert mode and the cursor back to the start of the first line. so if you continue to do the step 3 and step 4, you end up in just inserting " at the start the first line , far from what I want to achieve. so could you point out what's wrong with the recipe ? thanks in advance

    Hi All, I'm currently working in Swing UI Assignment. This work involves showing large file content in JTextArea. The file size can be as large as 2 GB. My initial idea is to lazily load content from the file, say 1 MB of content will be shown to the user. As the user scrolls i will retrieve the next 1 MB of content to be shown. All these operation will be happening in background thread (Swing Worker). I looked at the JTextArea API, the method insert takes String and int(position of the insert) as the parameter. This will suffice, but i'm worried about performance, because the content (1 MB at a time) retrieved will have to be converted to String object. Is there any other work around or any other alternative/better solution for this.

    Hi, We have a SQL Server table for user settings. Originally the settings were domain objects which had been serialized as XML into the table but we recently begun serializing them as binary. However, as part of our deployment process we statically pre-populate the table with predefined settings for our users. Originally, this was as simple as copying the XML from a customized database and pasting it into an INSERT statement that was ran after the database was built. However, since we've moved to storing the settings as binary data we can't get this to work. How can we extract binary data from a varbinary column in SQL Server and paste it into a static INSERT script? We only want to use SQL for this, we don't want to use any utilities.     Hello, Got nothing better to do this Christmas holiday, so I decided to try out making a binary search tree. I'm stuck with the print function. How should the logic behind it work? Since the tree is already inserting it in a somewhat sorted order, and I want to print the tree from smallest values to the biggest. So I need to travel to the furthest left branch of the tree to print the first value. Right, so after that how do I remember the way back up, do I need to save the previous node? A search in wikipedia gave me an solution which they used stack. And other solutions I couldn't quite understand how they've made it, so I'm asking here instead hoping someone can enlight me. I also wonder my insert function is OK.     I am trying to insert a user control dynamically into my default.aspx page via the following method in the page_init: Dim control As UserControl = LoadControl("~\Modules\Content.ascx") Controls.Add(control) When I run the page there is no sign of the usercontrol. Am I using the correct code to insert the usercontrol? Is there an alternative method of insertion available? Does the fact that the usercontrol has a page_load make a difference?     I'm using an NSTreeController to manage nodes for an NSOutlineView. Poking around reveals that the tree controller is not actually putting my objects directly in the tree, but is wrapping them in a node object of its own. Anyone have insight into how I would go about getting a row index relative to the outline view, so I can do this (without, hopefully, enumerating everything in the outline view and figuring out the mapping back to my node?)
