If I stop my "for" at the first iteration I can see the first div appended, but it seems that if my loop goes for three iteration the two previous are deleted.     I am trying to manage a cherrypy service with puppet. However, when the configuration is applied, cherryd ends up with no PID file although the process is up and running. Since the PID file is lost I can no longer stop the process with /etc/init.d/mycherryd stop (unless I modify the handmade init script to lookup the PID with ps or something.) $ /etc/init.d/mycherryd status cherryd dead but subsys locked The problem seems to be that puppet is trying to refresh/restart cherryd (triggered by changes in configuration files) immediately after ensuring it's running (as specified in the manifest), and cherrypy fails to stop and start (restart) itself while still executing its startup process. Is there a clear cut solution to this problem? Is this a bug on the cherrypy side, or can I write a puppet manifest so refresh is called only after the service is up and running?     Hi I need to style a regular html list like the following picture: as you see each each list item has a padding on the sides and a top&bottom border. When hovered the border has a width of 100% of the <ul> item.     Thanks to stackoverflow.com's frienly experts I've managed to create my first php + mysql application. The code searches a mysql database for last names and cities. The choices are made through two drop lists like these: Choose city: All cities Liverpool Manchester Choose last name: All last names Lennon Gallagher The code would return eg. all the Lennons living in Liverpool. However, I haven't been able to make the options "All cities" and "All last names" to work so that the code would return eg. all the Lennons living in any city or all the people living in Liverpool. So, how can that be done?   • Drop down list in menu disappears before able to click

    I've had quite a search through forums looking for a solution for this, but since I don't know coding I'm not sure what applies to me and what doesn't. So, apologies if this is an often solved problem, but I'll greatly appreciate your help! After much trial and error, I've managed to get a drop down list of pages on my navigation bar; however, when I go to click on a sub-page, the entire menu disappears. I've read through other similar problems where there has been an issue with a margin that's too big, but I think my margins are set to '0'.   • How do I stop XNA/Visual Studio from rebuilding my content project every time I build?

    My group and I are working on a game in XNA 4.0 with Visual Studio 2010/2012. The main solution has 6 projects: 2 XNA game projects (1 executable/ 1 class library), 1 WPF executable for the level editor, 2 standard class libraries, and a content project. Originally, the editor and engine XNA game projects had a content reference to separate content projects. Recently, I consolidated the content projects into one to simplify asset additions. Since pushing these changes to our git repo, certain members of my group have been experiencing weird build issues. Every time they run the project, they have to re-build all of the assets. This happens regardless of whether any changes were made, even if they just run the project directly after building. I've taken a few steps to figure out why this is happening. Below is the MSBuild output set on Normal verbosity. Like I said, this only happens for half our group. One member is on a 32-bit Windows 7 Prof bootcamp partition on a Mac. Everyone else, including those who don't have the issue, are running straight 64-bit Windows 7 Prof. Both have tried using VS 2010 and VS 2012. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Also, I can post more details upon request if this isn't thorough enough.

  • Fancy dynamic list in Android: TableLayout vs ListView

    There is a requirement to have not-so-trivial dynamic list, each record of which consists of several columns (texts, buttons). It should look something like: Text11 Text12 Button1 Button2 Text21 Text22 Button1 Button2 ... At first obvious way to accomplish that seemed to be TableLayout. I was expecting to have layout/styling data specified in res/layout/*.xml and to populate it with some dataset from java code (as with ListView, for which its possible to specify TextView of item in *.xml and bind it to some array using ArrayAdapter). But after playing for a while, all I found to be possible is fully populating TableLayout programatically. Still, creating TableRow by TableRow and setting layout attributes directly in java code doesn't seem elegant enough. So the questions are: Am I at the right path? Is TableLayout really best View to accomplish that? Maybe it's more appropriate to extend ListView or something else to meet such requirements? Is it possible to have TableLayout/TableRow template specified in *.xml and data bound to this template in java side?

    This is strange and any alternative method to what I want to accomplish is welcome. My app uses the jqgrid 3.5.3 and I need to disable a select list on my edit form. When I do so using the code displayed below it breaks the edit form - meaning I can not cancel or submit it. Thanks. This code is in the edit options array of the navGrid method. The the dropdown is the 'serv_descr' field. The others are text boxes and don't pose a problem.   • LinkedHashMap vs HashMap != LinkedList vs ArrayList

    I have read that LinkedHashMap has faster iteration speed than HashMap because its elements are doubly linked to each other. Additionally, because of this, LinkedHashMap is slower when inserting or deleting elements. Presumably because these links also need to be updated. Although I can see an analogy to LinkedList vs ArrayList, in that the elements of LinkedList are also doubly-linked, I read that it iterates slower than ArrayList, and has faster insertion and deletion times. Why is this? Perhaps I am making a mistake somewhere? Cheers1

    I'm trying to get a list of the groups that are in an AD group using .NET. As an example, I have a group called TestGroup and inside that group I have the group DomainAdministrators. Using the code below I can get all of the users including those from the DomainAdministrators group but not the group itself.
