Is there any way to work concurently on the same application or is it possible to merge two seperate instance of the same file (not the data, but the forms and code). Now Access contains the data, but in the future version MySQL will host the data and Access will be only the frontend (via ODBC)

  I have set up a SQL link server between an SQLserver 2005 on a W2003 R2 and a SYBASE 12.5.0.2 server on a IBM AIX H70 system. I use the Sybase ODBC driver 04.20.00.67 The problem is than most of the times (there is no pattern ) when I select rows from a Sybase table I get ONLY ONE ROW without any error. Please note that there is no problem when I insert rows from SQL server to the SYBASE server I appreciate any possible solutions...

  I just downloaded PHP and I tried running mySQL with the command: C:\Program Files\EasyPHP-5.3.2i\mySQL\bin\mysql.exe And I got the error: ERROR 1045 (28000): Acess denied for user 'ODBC'@localhost' (using password: YES) I found a solution online with linux, but I'm running vista on this machine and have no clue what all of that meant. Please help, I'm tired of using the school's terminals.

However, when it comes to the question at hand, I only found one company, and the product is not being sold nor demoed (makes me think is not ready yet). So, how do you transfer data?   What are the possible causes of this type of error - "[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver]Protocol error in TDS stream"? And how can this be fixed? My application runs in C++ calling stored procedures implemented in SQL Server. There's this one SP (containing select and update statements) that causes this problem, after which all succeeding queries will return that the cursor is in an invalid state. I've checked the SP but I don't see any possible problem.

  Hi all, I have a table that contains sales transaction (~20 mil rows). Previously I used MSSQL and export it to an Excel pivot. Data refresh took 10-15 minutes but still do-able. However, after I migrated to MySQL (using XamppLite & ODBC), it took forever to refresh the data in the Excel pivot. Maybe I didn't optimize the MySQL good enough ? Anyone can share some thoughts 'bout this ? Thanks

  I am using MySql ODBC driver with .Net 3.5. I have created a stored procedure in MySQl which accepts around 15 parameters with types like datetime, varchar, Int32, Int64 etc.. When I run the SP from the query window with the arguments provided, it runs fine. But whwn I test using the .Net application, it gives exception with "Memory allocation error", MySQL native error code is 4001. Any help will be much appreciated.

  i need to copy the tables and data (about 5 yrs data, 6200 tables) stored in sqlserver, i am using datastage and odbc connection to connect and datstage automatically creates the table with data, but its taking 2-3 hours per table as tables are very large(0.5 gig, 300+columns and about 400k rows). How can i achieve this the fastes as at this rate i am able to only copy 5 tables per day but within 30 days i need move over these 6000 tables.
