  • Base on User Drawing Create Polygon Body as well Image

    - by Siddharth
In my game, I want to provide a user with drawing feature. By free hand drawing user create a polygon shape. So in my game implementation I have to create body for all found vertices and I have to generate image based on that polygon shape. So my problem is how to create image that match the user provided vertices. In cocos2d I listen that there is an implementation of something like Image Masking. But I don't understand how that thing I implement in andengnine. Please provide any guidance on how to create image same as user generated polygon shape.

  • How to edit thousands of html pages at once? [on hold]

    - by Johnsy Omniscient
I need to edit thousands of pages for a website with dynamic content added manually by the owner throughout 3 years, it has thousands of pages and I'm sure there is a better way to edit them without spending hours opening each one of them. I know it would be easy to just edit the styles.css but page dynamics like the positions of the google ad-boxes are individually edited inside the html of each page, so there is no way to solve this through css. Is there some sort of code, script and macro that can edit the pages at once?

  • How to write a cgi script in perl that accepts output (an image file) from a urlconnection in a Java applet and writes it to the server?

    - by Brad Rock
I created a Java applet for my web page that creates an image file. I want users to be able to run the applet and create unique images, click a button, and have the image they created be saved to the web server. I think I have the code down for writing the image to a URLconnection in the Java applet itself after having successfully written a file while running the applet on my system rather than the web page and saving a file to the local disk, and then altering a few things to write to a URLConnection instead of to the local disk (although we shall see how that works too). I am now trying to write a cgi script in perl that takes the image output from the URLConnection and writes the image to a file on my web server (note: I am a newbie to perl). I have found many examples of how to do something similar with simple text coming from an applet and then writing it to a text file, but I want to know how to apply the same concept to an image. Particularly, how do I read in the image? I've seen text input get read by using read(STDIN, $some_variable)--does the same thing work with an image? Likewise, how do I write the image file? What function do I use? Thanks for your help. I know that I am rather naive about all of this.

  • How to fix a Sticky Footer that works, but after a browser window is resized, the footer overlaps.

    - by UXdesigner
Good day, I've been trying to build a perfect footer who sticks at the bottom of the browser window after it's content. And I got help here @ Stack Overflow previously. But after a while, and doing a few tests, found out that after the browser window is resized, and then I scroll down , the footer overlaps...it is causing me a big headache right now and I'd like to fix this so I can move on. I'm going to post the display.css right here: @charset "utf-8"; body, html { margin: 0; padding: 0; text-align: center; position: relative; min-height:100%; /* needed for footer positioning*/ height:100%; /* needed for footer positioning*/ } .spacer { clear: both; height: 0; margin: 0; padding: 0; font-size: 0.1em; } .spacer_left { clear: left; margin: 0 0 10px 0; padding: 0; font-size: 0.1em; } hr { height: 1px; • openCV Won't copy to image after changed color ( opencv and c++ )

    - by user1656647
I am a beginner at opencv. I have this task: Make a new image Put a certain image in it at 0,0 Convert the certain image to gray scale put the grayscaled image next to it ( at 300, 0 ) This is what I did. I have a class imagehandler that has constructor and all the functions. cv::Mat m_image is the member field. Constructor to make new image: imagehandler::imagehandler(int width, int height) : m_image(width, height, CV_8UC3){ } Constructor to read image from file: imagehandler::imagehandler(const std::string& fileName) : m_image(imread(fileName, CV_LOAD_IMAGE_COLOR)) { if(!m_image.data) { cout << "Failed loading " << fileName << endl; } } This is the function to convert to grayscale: void imagehandler::rgb_to_greyscale(){ cv::cvtColor(m_image, m_image, CV_RGB2GRAY); } This is the function to copy paste image: //paste image to dst image at xloc, yloc void imagehandler::copy_paste_image(imagehandler& dst, int xLoc, int yLoc){ cv::Rect roi(xLoc, yLoc, m_image.size().width, m_image.size().height); cv::Mat imageROI (dst.m_image, roi); m_image.copyTo(imageROI); } Now, in the main, this is what I did : imagehandler CSImg(600, 320); //declare the new image imagehandler myimg(filepath); myimg.copy_paste_image(CSImg, 0, 0); CSImg.displayImage(); //this one showed the full colour image correctly myimg.rgb_to_greyscale(); myimg.displayImage(); //this shows the colour image in GRAY scale, works correctly myimg.copy_paste_image(CSImg, 300, 0); CSImg.displayImage(); // this one shows only the full colour image at 0,0 and does NOT show the greyscaled one at ALL! What seems to be the problem? I've been scratching my head for hours on this one!!!

  • opacity and zIndex not getting set when hovered

    - by Catfish
    I'm messing around with a jquery carousel script and i'm trying to get it so when you hover over an image, the size will be doubled(which i have working) and the opacity will be 100. The script is here http://steph.net23.net/ImageCarousel/ This is the part i've added to double the width and height but the opacity is not taking effect. The original script came from here http://www.devirtuoso.com/2009/08/how-to-create-a-3d-tag-cloud-in-jquery/ $('#list a img').hover( function() { clearInterval(go); $(this).css('height', '200px'); $(this).css('width', '400px'); $(this).css('margin-left', '-100px'); $(this).css('opacity', '100'); var opac = $(this).css('opacity'); $(this).css('zIndex', '0'); var z = $(this).css('zIndex'); console.log("opacity = "+opac); console.log("zindex = "+z); }, function() { go = setInterval(render, 20); $(this).css('height', '100px'); $(this).css('width', '200px'); $(this).css('margin-left', '0'); });

  • To synchronise css styles in a browser and on a server.

    - by kalininew
Prompt, please: whether it is possible in general from a browser (for example using firebug in firefox) to edit css a file on a server? I heard that there is an addition to firefox for connection on FTP (FireFTP). It is possible to change styles on page in firebug. Whether it is impossible to "combine" them - you change css styles in firebug, and they varies on a server? Who can heard about such miracle (not necessarily for firefox, suddenly for chrome there is such piece).

  • How can I use CSS pseudo-classes with GWT's UiBinder?

    - by David
I've been using the in-line styles approach as recommended by GWT's UiBinder documentation. I'm puzzled, though, about how to use CSS pseudo-classes with UiBinder; for example, suppose I would otherwise (without UiBinder) have this CSS rule: #myLink:hover { background:blue } Can I implement that rule in UiBinder?

  • How do you apply CSS to the editor iframe in jwysiwyg (jQuery wysiwyg)?

    - by Walker
Hello, I'm using a slightly customized version of jwysiwyg for a website. I'm trying to change CSS values inside the textarea replacement (the iFrame where the text gets written) - but I just can't seem to figure out how. Do I have to create a new style sheet to apply to the iFrame? Specifically, I want to change the iframe's :active and font: css settings. Thanks, Walker

  • What do I use if a CSS framework or grid is bad?

    - by johnny
Reference this question: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/203069/what-is-the-best-css-framework-and-are-they-worth-the-effort Do I go back to the "old" way of manually creating a template or downloading free ones again. For a little bit I thought a grid was the new thing and the best, now it appears I am wrong after all and not sure of best practice. And, yes, I can write my own CSS but didn't want to create the infrastructure if I didn't have to.

  • Is their an optimal config/format for a TIFF when using Tesseract or other OCR?

    - by Zando
I'm having a bizarre problem with Tesseract. I have a name, "Janice" that is in a 200x40 pixel tiff, that Tesseract interprets as a blank. I'm running hundreds of names through Tesseract and they are processed fine. What I'm actually doing, though, is breaking up a larger TIFF into smaller tiffs of one word each. In the larger TIFF, tesseract recognizes "Janice". What could cause it to hiccup in a TIFF that solely contains that word (and there's enough space around the word to not truncate any of the pixels)? I'm using ImageMagick to split the big TIFF, are there options I should set when reconstituting the new TIFF files?

  • How do I make a suckerfish/superfish CSS dropdown that sticks to the right hand side of the page?

    - by joeforker
I am developing a CSS dropdown menu based on the suckerfish CSS. I would like to put it on the right hand side of the page but the menus extend from the leftmost edge of each menu to the right, instead of from the rightmost edge of each menu to the left (as is necessary to keep the rightmost dropdown menu from opening outside the visible area.) How do I position my suckerfish dropdown menus to extend to the left, instead of the right?
