  • PHP PDF library with unicode support. anybody??

    I tried dompdf. Its a lot easier than the other libraries but it doesnt have unicode support. Well it has unicode support but requires another library calld PDFLib ($1k version). so just wondering if anybodies ever stumbled upon or used any PHP pdf library which is easy to use and has unicode support. thanks,

  • I'm referencing an WiX extension in a WiX library project -- how do I avoid having to reference this

    I'm referencing a WiX extension in a WiX library project. This WiX library project is itself referenced by my main WiX MSI project. Why does the main project have to also reference the WiX extension, even though it doesn't directly need it? I'd like to keep my wixlib's as self-contained as possible, so that other projects that use them don't need to know about their inner workings. I'm using latest stable release of WiX (3.0.x).

  • Linux cc compliation of library in directory within project?

    My directory structure looks like the following: -xmllib -libxml++-1.0.a -main.cc ..and I issue the command: cc -lstdc++ -L./xmllib -llibxml++-1.0.a main.cc But then it tells me that it can't find the binary for the library...even though I issued the command from the root directory. /usr/bin/ld: cannot find -llibxml++-1.0.a main.cc collect2: ld returned 1 exit status Is there any reason why cc can't find the binary library? I'm using cc version 2.96 (yes, it's old).

    There are two main open source .net Amazon S3 libraries. Three Sharp LitS3 I am currently using LitS3 in our MVC demo project, but there is some criticism about it. Has anyone here used both libraries so they can give an objective point of view.   • Could my iPad app be denied from the app store for using the Tapku library?

    I'd like to use the Tapku library to add a calander date picker control to my iPad app. I'm new to iPhone OS development and I'm still rusty on identifying the 3rd party tools and code that will get my iPad app denied from the app store. For those that have used the Tapku library, would using it in my iPad app violate any app store rules? Thanks so much in advance for your help.   • Dynamically loading jQuery library from a custom component and ensuring only one instance.

    Say I have a web component that uses jQuery and I want to distribute it as a packaged component. I need a way to ensure that the jQuery library is available on or after the page loads, but I also want to check that the containing html page, or another unknown component that may reference jQuery hasn't already added the library to the page. At the moment the best example I've seen is this http://www.squidoo.com/load-jQuery-dynamically It would need a little tweaking, but I was wondering if there were any other best practices.

    I'm a big fan of JGraphT, a Java library for graphs. Could anyone recommend a similar Java library for trees? Preferrably FOSS. What I need is a good API, preferrably typesafe with generics which allows modelling different kinds of trees (with some user data attached to verticies/edges) and run different algorithms and operations on these trees. For instance, traverse or balance. At the moment I'm not interested in visualization of trees.
