Let's say, a is connected to b, c, and d. a -- b |_ c |_ d I can have a node table for a, b, c, and d, and I can also have a link table (FROM, TO) - (a,b), (a,c), (a,d). I have the view open but all the buttons are disabled. I have tried putting code in the view, selecting code in the view, selecting code in other views, while running and while not running debug, but the only button that is ever enabled on the view is "clear console". Suggestions on what I am doing wrong?

Example #typedef string* pstring; const pstring parr; Here confusion arises whether const'ness is for pointer or the content. Now based on what thumb rule do can we start resolving the above interpretation of the pstring?. • Get/save parameters to an expected JMock method call?

  Hi, I want to test an "Adapter" object that when it receives an xml message, it digest it to a Message object, puts message ID + CorrelationID both with timestamps and forwards it to a Client object.=20 A message can be correlated to a previous one (e.g. m2.correlationID =3D m1.ID). I mock the Client, and check that Adapter successfully calls "client.forwardMessage(m)" twice with first message with null correlationID, and a second with a not-null correlationID. However, I would like to precisely test that the correlationIDs are set correctly, by grabing the IDs (e.g. m1.ID). But I couldn't find anyway to do so. There is a jira about adding the feature, but no one commented and it is unassigned. Is this really unimplemented? I read about the alternative of redesigning the Adapter to use an IdGenerator object, which I can stub, but I think there will be too many objects.=20 Don't you think it adds unnecessary complexity to split objects to a so fine granularity?   I narrowed the causes of an AS3 compiler error 1119 down to code that looks similar to this: var test_inst:Number = 2.953; trace(test_inst); trace(test_inst.constructor); I get the error "1119: Access of possibly undefined property constructor through a reference with static type Number." Now if I omit the variable's type, I don't get that error: var test_inst = 2.953; trace(test_inst); trace(test_inst.constructor); it produces the expected output: 2.953 [class Number] So what's the deal? I like explicitly typing variables, so is there any way to solve this error other than not providing the variable's type?

  I have a class with a fields called "a". In the class I have a method and in the list of arguments of this method I also have "a". So, which "a" I will see inside of the method? Will it be the field or it will be the argument of the method? public class myClass { private String a; // Method which sets the value of the field "a". public void setA(String a) { a = a; } } By the way, there is a similar situation. A method has some local (for method) variables whose names coincide with the names of the fields. What will the "see" the method if I refer to such a method-local variable inside the method (the field or the local variable)?

  So Ive got a pretty big array of data and need to sort them by two criteria. There is variable $data['important'] and $data['basic']. They are simple numbers and I am using uasort to sort $data firstly by important and then by basic. I am having problem ie:-- when user is clicking on questions pagination page 2. answers page are also updating. The reason is both is sending a post variable ie params[:page] How to change this variable so that only one should be updated. and how to maintain that user should not lose the other page. ie he is on 3rd page of questions and 1st page of answers and now he click on 5th page of the questions the result should be 3rd page of questions and 5th page of answers.

  I think this simple example might ask the question a lot more clearly. I have an input file with multiple products. There are 10 types of product (2 product IDs is fine enough for this example), but the input will have 200 products, and I only want to output the info for the first product of each type. (Output info for the lowest priced one, so the first one will be the lowest price because I sort by Price first.) So I want to read in each product, but only output the product's info if I haven't already output a product with that same ID. I couldn't figure out how to get the processID template to return a value that I need to do my if-check on, that uses parameters from inside the for-each Product loop -then properly close the if tag in the right place so it won't output the open Product tag unless it passes the if test.   @interface ClassB <ClassADelegate> : ClassA id <ClassBDelegate> delegate; @end As the code says, ClassB subclasses from ClassA and handles the formation protocol of Class A. However, the variable "delegate" will be duplicated. (ClassA also has "delegate") In fact, it can be done without subclassing, but it seems the code is cumbersome, i.e., to use a variable/function of ClassA, I need to write [[ClassB classA] doSomething] instead of [classB doSomething], where doSomething: is a function of ClassA. Are there any tidy way for me to do that?

  I am simply attempting to get jquery to identify the first letter of a paragraph. How would I do this? For example, I have a page with a number of paragrahs on a page. I would like only the paragraphs starting with a specified letter to be given the class "current" and all others to be hidden. I pretty much know how to add the class and hide the others but, I cant get jquery to recognize the first letter. Secondly, is it possible to pull this 'first letter' variable from the url string? For example, Page 1 - There is a list of letters. The user clicks 'B' and the url is http://domain.com/page2.html?letter=b And page2 picks up that variable (b) and applies it to the Jquery, showing only those paragraphs

  I'm pretty new to using regexes and I can figure out how I would go about extracted a specific number from a string. Suppose the string was any amount of whitespace or random text and somewhere within it is this, "Value: $1000.00." In order to retrieve that value I am currently using this: string value = Convert.ToString(Regex.Match(BodyContent, @"Value:[ \t]*\$?\d*(\.[0-9]{2})?", RegexOptions.Singleline)); So the variable 'value' now has, "Value: $1000.00" stored in it. My question is, using Regex is there a way to use 'Value:' to find the number value but only store the actual number value (i.e. 1000.00) in the 'value' variable?

  I need to wait in a script until a certain number of conditions become true? I know I can roll my own eventing using condition variables and friends, but I don't want to go through all the trouble of implementing it, since some object property changes come from external thread in a wrapped C++ library (Boost.Python), so I can't just hijack __setattr__ in a class and put a condition variable there, which leaves me with either trying to create and signal a Python condition variable from C++, or wrap a native one and wait on it in Python, both of which sound fiddly, needlessly complicated and boring. Is there an easier way to do it, barring continuous polling of the condition? Ideally it would be along the lines of res = wait_until(lambda: some_predicate, timeout) if (not res): print 'timed out'

• A simple string array Iteration in C# .NET doesn't work

  This is a simple code that should return true or false after comparing each element in a String array with a Session Variable. The thing is that even when the string array named 'plans' gets the right attributes, inside the foreach it keeps iterating only over the first element, so if the Session Variable matches other element different than the first one in the array it never returns true... You could say the problem is right there in the foreach cicle, but I cant see it... I've done this like a hundred times and I can't understand what am I doing wrong... • Is it inefficient to access a python class member container in a loop statement?

  Hi there. I'm trying to adopt some best practices to keep my python code efficient. I've heard that accessing a member variable inside of a loop can incur a dictionary lookup for every iteration of the loop, so I cache these in local variables to use inside the loop. My question is about the loop statement itself... if I have the following class: class A(object): def init(self) self.myList = [ 'a','b','c', 'd', 'e' ] Does the following code in a member function incur one, or one-per-loop-iteration (5) dictionary lookups? for letter in self.myList: print letter IE, should I adopt the following pattern, if I am concerned about efficiency... localList = self.myList for letter in localList: print letter or is that actually LESS efficient due to the local variable assign? Note, I am aware that early optimization is a dangerous pitfall if I'm concerned about the overall efficiency of code development. Here I am specifically asking about the efficiency of the code, not the coding. Thanks in advance! D
