  • Appending javascript code piece to end of the body tag

    I am looking for a way to insert javascript code block to end of ASP.NET page. Page.ClientScript.RegisterClientScriptBlock(typeof(Page), "showVideo", sScript, true); is appending to body but js codes are always requesting some js files didn't load or some functions are below of the script. How can i append scripts that i generated dynamically to the bottom of body? Thanks for your help.

  • Why aren't IOKit notifications being delivered with this code?

    I wrote this code to subscribe to USB devices being plugged in and unplugged; the point is for IOKit to deliver notifications to my iAttached() and iDetached() functions when the corresponding events occur. Someone suggested using WCF or Web Services. I'm wondering what the advantages are vs. just posting to an ASPX page like: Myserver.com/Functions.ASP?FunctionName=GetValue?UserName=BubbGump and returning some simple, easy to parse text, like one value per line.

  • Android runs OpenGL ES 1.1 or 1.0?

    I'm developing a native app for Android and I'm trying to use functions such as glIsEnabled which appear to be only available in OpenGL ES 1.1. Google's docs claim that NDK 1.6R1 supports OpenGL ES v1.1 but the function call fails with "unimplemented Open GL ES API" and if i do a glGetString(GL_VERSION) it returns "OpenGL ES 1.0 CM" as the version. So if 1.1 is available, what do I have to link against to get it or what else do i need to change to get it?

I.e I can do something like: void func(int); void func(double); but not double func(); int func(); Where in the former, it's clear, in the latter, it's ambigious. I can't use global-scope variables to store information because multiple instances of the .dll can exist which share memory. How do I create a class (for re-usability purposes in other plugins) containing 2 dimensional array and other variables the content of which is to be shared between functions? If that is possible, how would I read and write the data from the function in the framework where I do the processing?

  • Can I concatenate multiple MySQL rows into one field?

    Using MySQL, I can do something like select hobbies from peoples_hobbies where person_id = 5; and get: shopping fishing coding but instead I just want 1 row, 1 col: shopping, fishing, coding The reason is that I'm selecting multiple values from multiple tables, and after all the joins I've got a lot more rows than I'd like. I've looked for a function on MySQL Doc and it doesn't look like the CONCAT or CONCAT_WS functions accept result sets, so does anyone here know how to do this?
