• FOX toolkit, file concatentation

  I'm using the FOX Toolkit and C++ to develop a GUI. I'm Having an issue with the FXFile::concat(...) command. The method looks like: FXFile::concat(const FXString & srcfile1, const FXString & srcfile2, const FXString & dstfile, FXbool overwrite = false And when I call it with the srcfile1 and dstfile being the same thing (because I need to simply add to srcfile1), the method does not work. dstfile is empty. Anyone have experience with FOX and this concatentation problem? I'm open to other suggestions as well, including boost.

• How does this ruby custom accessor work

  So the method below in class_eval dynamically creates accessors for attributes defined at runtime. It can be used, for example, to create configuration objects with attributes read from a config file (and unknown until runtime). I understanding all of it except for the else branch. If I am correct the else branch returns the attribute value (val[0]) if there is one value passed in *val. However the way its written I would expect it to return an array (val) if there is more then one value passed in *var. In particular, if I have something like the following: value = 5 then from reading the code I would expect "#{@value}" to be [=,5]. However "#{@value}" returns 5 and not the array [=,5]. So, when I add 10000 elements to a map, and after that call map.clear(), it will keep 10000 nulls in it's internal array. So, my question is, how does JVM handle this array of nothing, and thus, is HashMap memory effective?

  I want to catch itemEditEnd in a tree control, but i'm having a little trouble.   I am trying to create a WebPart for my locally installed Sharepoint Services 3.0 and I've followed various tips and guides to get it all working. However somewhere on the road I must have missed something or this is just not "in all the books". When creating an empty Sharepoint WebPart and just hitting F5 to debug it, I get the following message: Error 1 The HTTP request is unauthorized with client authentication scheme 'Negotiate'. The authentication header received from the server was 'Negotiate,NTLM'. 0 0 And as this article from microsoft suggests I did enable Negotiate, NTLM. But it's still not working, Any suggestions?

  Hi, I have a layout with an ImageView defined like: <ImageView android:layout_width="45dip" android:layout_height="45dip" android:scaleType="fitXY" /> now I just want to set the imageview to be a static color, like red or green. I'm trying: ColorDrawable cd = new ColorDrawable("FF0000"); cd.setAlpha(255); ImageView iv = ...; iv.setImageDrawable(cd); the imageview is just empty though, no color. The 45dip space is being used up though. What do I need to do to get the color to be rendered? Thanks

  Hi, I wish to compare to nested lists of unequal length. I am interested only in a match between the first element of each sub list. Should a match exist, I wish to add the match to another list for subsequent transformation into a tab delimited file.   Hello, I am using jQuery ajax, and it worked very well until I tried the site in Google Chrome. I am directed to the success handler. However, when I printed the status of the XMLHttpRequest, I got a 0. The responseText is empty as well. This only happens in Google Chrome. I tried the same code on Safari, Firefox, and Opera, they are worked correctly. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

  I have various classes which all contain address details, i.e. AddressLine1, AddressLine2, AddressLine3, Suburb, Town, etc. On the front end, I need to format the address in a particular way, i.e. AddressLine1<br /> AddressLine2<br /> Suburb State Postcode If AddressLine2 does not exist or empty, don't show it. Quite straight-forward. I am trying to determine the best way to show this info. At the moment, the Address property of each class calls a FormatAddress method which writes out the html string. This exists as a method of the class. My opinion is that any formatting should exist from the front-end control i.e. ascx etc. However, if these DetailClasses need to format the same address info, what would be the best option, also making it easier to maintain?

It counts the most popular posts from Monday, not the past 7 days. For instance, this means that on Tuesday, it will only include posts from Tuesday and Monday.   Hi all, In my project i have a asset list which contains "request to download" link. In the same list there is "download link" column which is default empty. Now when any user clicks on request to download link a workflow is activated and it will send request to approver to approve or reject the download request. If approver accept the request then the "download link" column in the asset list will be updated by some URL which redirect user to download page. Now what happen is, if user A send request to download asset to approver and approver approves it this will update respective item in asset list and put a download URL in "Download Link" column but if user B get look for the same record in asset list the download link will be visible to this user too which is wrong. I want to display download link columns value to only those user whos request has been approve. FYI: I am using WSS 3.0 Can anyone help me what should be the best approch to do this...? • IE page redirect hanging

  My app does a POST to my local server to create a new DOM element, comes back and should redirect to the same page with the new element. The problem is when it gets back from the server, the app hangs for almost 2 minutes before doing the redirect. I've isolated the issue to the fact that IE seems to have trouble with my tree structure of 100+ DOM elements, and I can see in HTTPWatch that it sits in a "Blocked" call for the 2 minutes before doing the redirect. Our temporary workaround is to set the inner-html of the tree structure to an empty string before submitting, thus eliminating the heavy DOM lifting, but we shouldn't need to do this (firefox has no trouble with the redirect). Question 1: Is there a better fix for this issue? Question 2: Why does ANY page care about the content before a redirect if it's going to be refreshed anyway? Thanks yall //sw

• ASP.NET - Overriding Gridview OnRowCreated to add sort images -- columns are null

  I'm overriding the onrowcreated to add sort images to the header row of a gridview. This works, but actually adding a sortexpression doesn't. What I want to do is set the images as imagebuttons and set their commandarguments to the sort expression of the column they are sorting for. I would assume I could get the cell and from it's index get the gridviewcolumn. Then, I could just get the sortexpression of the gridview column, but this does not work. The columns are null. It is a simple POJO, and it works fine being run outside of an application server, but the messages do not seem to be picked up at all. I have created empty home and remote interfaces, as well as a container bean class that contains an instance of the pojo which it gets from the application context. I then added this container bean class to the ejb-jar.xml as a . I have not been able to get the messages pick up. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I am doing wrong?   I am trying to make my own Labeller plugin for Cruise Control .Net 1.4.3. • Problem in JsonResult

  I am using the jsonresult for listing all the cities under a country. I retrieve the data from database and load it to a dropdown list using jquery. • I'm trying to install Spree on my Mac with Rails 1.9.2 - I'm getting an error message.

  I'm doing a local install on Mac OSX of Spree (a Ruby-based ecommerce package) following the tutorial on this page. I'm using RVM to run Ruby 1.9.2 and rails 3.0.3. I run "gem install spree" successfully to load spree version 0.40. But when I run "Gem Install Spree" I get the following message. Can anyone help? /Library/Ruby/Site/1.8/rubygems.rb:335:in `bin_path': can't find executable spree for spree-0.40.0 (Gem::Exception) from /usr/bin/spree:19 Also, when I run "Gem list spree" I get an empty list.

  i have to make the colorpiker tool of flex, to be a customized one, i beleive you have seen the color picker tool of flex, when you click on the colorpicker, a swatch panel gets open, right?? now in that swatch, there are three compoenents, one is thw colorbox(on top left), beside right to this is the text field holding the hex code of the color and below these two tools, is the colors present in the small rectangles, now my need is this, i want to add three more buttons on the top empty space after textfield, so that structure of the colors pciker looks like this colorbox | textfield | button1 | button2 | button3 color rectangles, showing all default colors i beleive u understood, what i meant here, so plzz help me out in making a custom colorpciker class, thanx Namaste
