• Tooltip steals mouse click

  I'm writing a custom TreeView from ScrollableControl. I decided to show tooltips when the mouse hovers over nodes with text too long to display. I find that when tooltips are shown, the user is not able to click the node to select it because (I think) he's clicking the tooltip window, not my control. Is there any easy solutions? As far I can see, System.Windows.Forms.TreeView don't have this problem. Thanks!

What I am thinking is calling the "defrag.exe /A" then analyze the output result to see whether it contains "You do not need to defragment this volume." And although its not really that important it's become hard to guess which word to use while writing new code, so I'd like to unify the three terms into one and do the appropriate refactoring, but I'm not sure which word is the "best", if there is such a thing.   I have a UserControl which has a style, that i would like to be influenced by a settings checkbox on the main window hosting my user control so myControl.xaml has a Style which i would like to have a trigger, that should observe a CheckBox inside MainWindow.xaml i know one way to do this, would be to create a local property in myControl.cs which would look at the property in MainWindow.cs which would in turn return state of that cheeckbox.. but maybe there is a way to do this w/out writing any c# code ?
