  I am trying to get a login form I have in django to only allow three login attempts before redirecting to a "login help" page. I am currently using the builtin "django.contrib.auth.views.login" view with a custom template. How do I force it to redirect to another page after n failed login attempts?

  I am using Django built in view for user login: url(r'^user/login/$', 'django.contrib.auth.views.login', {'template_name': 'users/templates/login.html'}, name='user-login'), After login when I goto user/login again I can login second time. I submit the form and getting: The current URL, accounts/profile/, didn't match any of these. I haven't declare this url in urls.py. What I am doing wrong? Why framework want to redirect to this url?

  I'm using a TableLayout for an Activity and if I have more than a certain number of TableRows a vertical line appears to the right of the screen. If I use fewer Views in my layout, the line disappears. If this is not a bug, where should I look in my layout for problems?

  If a SharePoint user (with Regional Settings set to UK) views a calculated date field in a View details form, the field shows incorrectly. I am using: ddwrt:FormatDateTime(string(@RenewalDate), 1033, 'dd MMMM yyyy') Which shows 04 January 2010 for 01/04/2010 and, doesnt show unresolvable dates such as 31-Dec-2010. This applies even with a simnple =[Modified] formula The Server is set up in the US for that locale.

• Resizing view to display over hidden uitabbar in iPhone

  I have an uitabbarcontroller which contains a couple uiViewControllers. When i show one of those controllers i am hiding the tabbar. This view has a fullscreen uiimageView. The thing is i am seeing a white rectangle over where the tabbar is hidden. I have tried resizing the views but the white rectangle is still there. Any ideas? Thanks

  In Asp.net MVC one is encouraged to derive custom ActionResults, however should these classes handle other tasks unrelated to views, perhaps a EmailActionResult would render a view then send an email. What is best practice for the class ActionResult, is it only view specific? I want to keep things DRY too. Should the sending of the email be factored into a service class? perhaps using a filter would work. what are your thoughts?

  Hi there, I'm using CodeIgniter to develop a new web app, and I'd like to create a mobile version that users get redirect to when they visit it from their phones. The mobile version of the app should have a different flow, so swapping CSS/HTML files in the code is not an option for me since the mobile version and the web version will handle things differently in their Controllers and Views, while sharing the same Models. • Flash of a Bullet in the top left corner of the search results

  I am using a UISearchDisplayController and SearchBar initialised from a nib. when the search is being run I get a flash of a small circle what looks like a "bullet" in the top left corner of the search results. • Is there a WPF control which will show a list of files in an Explorer-like view?

  I often need to display a list of files to the user, say, as a result of a search query. Typically I describe my own simple DataTemplate for FileInfo. But I'm lazy to re-implement all the Explorer's functionality: the Views, Sorting, Context Menus and drag&drop. I feel like the problem is common and someone has already assembled a good library for this purpose.
