    I just had trouble running VMWare player (version 3.1.0 build-261024) on Win 7 and got this error: Error while powering on: The following error occurred when starting VMware Player.W32AuthConnectionLaunch: Reply error "The system cannot find the file "" (code: 3).". I Googled the error and turns out the fix is to run VMWare Player as Administrator.     I am getting a BSOD Error when Running Windows Phone 7.1 Emulator on Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit, Each time I run the Emulator, it Results in Blue Screen. This is a Fresh Install, This Error also Occurred with my last Windows Install (That is why I formatted the Windows Again), I have already Tried to Re-install it, it also shows "Windows Phone Emulator is Doing a Complete OS boot" (Even at Fresh Install, I know it happens when using Unlocked Emulator Images). I am not able to Test any of my app. Please Help !! EDIT: I am not Running a VM, it is on a Physical Machine.

    Hi All, I am porting a very large code base and I am having more difficulty with old code. For example, this causes a compiler error: inline CP_M_ReferenceCounted * FrAssignRef(CP_M_ReferenceCounted * & to, CP_M_ReferenceCounted * from) { if (from) from->AddReference(); if (to) to->RemoveReference(); to = from; return to; } The error is: error: expected initializer before '*' token. How do I know what this is. I looked up inline member functions to be sure I understood and I dont think the inlining is the cause but I am not sure what is. Another example: template <class eachClass> eachClass FrReferenceIfClass(FxRC * ptr) { eachClass getObject = dynamic_cast<eachClass>(ptr); if (getObject) getObject->AddReference(); return getObject; } The error is: error: template declaration of 'eachClass FrReferenceIfClass' That is all. How do I decide what this is?. I am admittedly rusty with templates.

  • Server 2008 R2 - Cannot add HP UPD PCL 6 - Failed with error 0x000000002

    I am having a problem with adding a print driver to one of our 2008 R2 RDS servers. On all other RDS servers in the farm there is no problem. The print server is 2008 R2. The HP Universal Print Driver PCL 6 is installed on the print server. When trying to add a printer with the driver on the failing RDS server i just get the error "Cannnot connect to the printer. Failed with errorcode 0x00000002" I have tried to add the driver to the RDS server localy but it fails with the same error. The driver has been installed before and is currently visible in the printmanagement.msc. When trying to remove the print driver i am unable to do it because it's "Currently in use" What to do? Have tried everyting - i think :-) Thanks. /Rasmus

    When trying to connect to a VPN server, I get the 691 error code on the client, which say: Error Description: 691: The remote connection was denied because the user name and password combination you provided is not recognized, or the selected authentication protocol is not permitted on the remote access server. Now, I validated that the username and password are correct, and tried to login with domain name and without. I also installed a certification to use with the IKEv2 security type. I also validated that the VPN server support security method. But I cannot login. In the server log I get this log: Network Policy Server denied access to a user. The user DomainName\UserName connected from IP address but failed an authentication attempt due to the following reason: The remote connection was denied because the user name and password combination you provided is not recognized, or the selected authentication protocol is not permitted on the remote access server.     I recently installed Lighttpd on Ubuntu Server 10.04 x86_64 and created several websites. What I do is include /etc/lighttpd/vhost.d/*.conf and put a configuration file for each website in that directory.
