  Hello everyone. I created a bunch of editable UITableViewCell by embedding an UITextField inside, but I have seen some apps that allows you to scroll the UItableview by scrolling inside an inactive editable cell. How can I do that? And how can I also dismiss the keyboard when tapping somewhere else? I know about the method: - (void)touchesEnded:(NSSet *)touches withEvent:(UIEvent *)event { UITouch *touch = [[event allTouches] anyObject]; if (touch.tapCount == 1) { [self resignFirstResponder]; } else { }} I put it inside my custom table view controller but the method doesn't seem to be called upon a tap, and I don't know if even if it gets called will dismiss the keyboard. • How to vertically align text in a button with a background drawable?

  I had a simple button set up with a background image defined like android:background="?attr/button" where ?attr/button was a reference to a simple 9-patch png. Everything worked fine, text in the button was aligned correctly. Then I needed to have a different background for a pressed state of the button. So I changed that to android:background="@drawable/state_button" where @drawable/state_button is an xml with the following states <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <selector xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android"> <item android:state_pressed="true" android:drawable="@drawable/button_pressed" /> <!-- pressed --> <item android:state_focused="true" android:drawable="@drawable/button_pressed" /> <!-- focused --> <item android:drawable="@drawable/button" /> <!-- default --> </selector> And after that I can't align the text properly. If I put android:gravity="center_vertical" the text is drawn about 1/4 of the button height from the top. I double-checked my 9-patch images, everything seems fine with them. And I also tried having regular pngs for the background, it also doesn't change anything.

• Emacs align-regexp on = but not ==

  I am working in Haskell and frequently come across code similar to the following: func i j | i == j = i | otherwise = j I want to align on the '=' character using align-regexp but don't have the elisp knowhow. I have tried just doing " = " without the quotes, but this inserts an unwanted space character before each '='. I have found a proposed solution here but I can't seem to get that to do anything at all. Please help me write a function or hard-coded macro that will allow me to set a keybinding for this.

• CSS- How to align background image over bottom border line? Jsfiddle included

  I have an image I am trying to display over the top of a bottom border, but it is being arranged behind the bottom border element (in this example, named "divider"), and I can't get it to align correctly. I would like the image to be displayed in the middle of the the border element and over the top of it. Vertically, I am trying to get the 1px line on the left and right side of the image to align with the 1px border to appear as if it is one element. • Aligning Android Button To Bottom in RelativeLayout??

  I'm trying to align a button to the bottom right and bottom left of my screen, using a RelativeLayout. I want to do this to keep the same relative layout across different screen sizes. Currently the buttons on my screen move up/down depending on the resolution of the screen. 320x480 puts the buttons higher on the screen versus 480x800. I'm trying to get my screens to look the same between the two sizes. Any information you can provide is greatly appreciated. Thanks, MobiKnow.

  How can I get an iframe such that when it loads up, it loads up with the page inside scrolled down by a fixed amount (say 100px)? I have so far: <iframe src="http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/7459669.stm" scrolling="no" width=500px height=500px></iframe> but it loads up with the bbc.co.uk page inside at the top left when I actually want it to load up scrolled part way down (that is the page inside the iframe scrolled down, not the page containing the iframe). Right now they don't: I tried wrapping the two text elements in a div, setting the div's position to relative, and using absolute positioning on the two text elements (and taking out the float declarations). That didn't work because the top margin is not preserved due to the wrapper div collapsing, even though I gave it a clearfix class.

Should I check for these flags in my ArrangeOverride method ?? Consider that I want to write a WrapPanel clone. If the panel's width is set to "Auto", how do I get the actual width of the panel to arrange my child items. I always get the ActualWidth/ActualHeight as 0. Am I missing something??? Please help.

  I've been trying to get my head around the TR1 addition known as aligned_storage. Whilst reading the following documents N2165, N3190 and N2140 I can't for the life of me see a statement where it clearly describes stack or heap nature of the memory being used. I've had a look at the implementation provided by msvc2010, boost and gcc they all provide a stack based solution centered around the use of a union. In short: Is the memory type (stack or heap) used by aligned_storage implementation defined or is it always meant to be stack based? and, What the is the specific document that defines/determines that?

  Hi, this is a CSS / design question. I have three textboxes that i want to be center aligned on a web page. Then i want a label description to the right of each one. Now I want to set the position to the bottom (and center in terms of "left-right"). I tried to use SOUTH instead of the CENTER in the first line. Compiler does not complains but during the execution i get IllegalArgumentException: HorizontalAlignment. What is that?

• Why won't my images align properly?

  I'm trying to make a dynamically sizable title banner, using fairly simple image tricks. I place the banner image in a table cell, and set the background-image of the table row to a one-pixel-wide repeat of the banner's right-most pixel column. Thus, the banner image appears to stretch to fit the screen width without stretching the logo. The code below is my entire page so far, and the problem is shown in a red circle in the screenshot. This is the transition where the main image ends and the one-pixel-wide background image begins. It appears that the one-pixel-wide bar at the end is compressed by one pixel - making the tops align properly, while the bottoms are one pixel off. I should add that I have checked the images more than once to make cure they the image data is correct. • CSS Differences Between IE and FF

  I hope I'm not breaking any rules by asking a question that pertains to a project I'm working on. If you view my page here and view it in Firefox and again in Internet Explorer, the width of the main content boxes differs. In Firefox, everything aligns perfectly with the advertisement at the top of the page, but in IE, the width of the content boxes seems to fall short by about 20 or so pixels. My question is obvious by now, but what is causing the width in IE to fall short, and what would a simple solution be? If I happen to be breaking the rules by asking a question that is not generic enough to benefit others, then allow me to rephrase it; what would be the best approach to solving visual differences between browsers? Should I use a separate CSS file for IE, or is there a way to define lines in my CSS file that only get rendered by a specific browser? It would be best if someone could provide me with the necessary CSS to align things properly, but I would be more than happy to learn about how to make the CSS dynamic (if that's possible).
