    How to detect a column included in WHERE clause but used in indexed? Little Background: Until the time the table has few number of records things will be okay, once it started having millions of records then index should be created for a column which is used in WHERE clauses in stored procs, inline queries etc., Since we have hundreds of stored procs and queries that often gets changed by the devs I wanted to have a automated way of identifying those columns that are used in WHERE clauses but not an index is created. How to do that in SQL SERVER 2008?

    Hi http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2709245/ajax-without-updatepanel/2709262#2709262 I tried to use these methodologies to remove UpdatePanel from application, I have a page with search keyword which call the PageMethods and I load the user control manually and render it then place rendering output to the page, but something strange happen, while search results is 100 and there is DataPager in the user control, the data pager did not appear, and also only one element appear, it looks that ItemTemplate did not resolve more than once. What is chances ??

I keep getting an repeated login box prompt, and it appears that it has to do with the Themes images and the CSS style sheets. Where do I need to update permissions so that these files have the same permissions as the rest of the site and the user only needs to login once? Thanks.

    I've noticed in recent ads that the Verizon Droid and Droid Eris have to put up acknowledgement on Lucasfilm's trademark of the word "Droid", and had to pay licensing fees to use it. I'm wondering if an app I'm building that uses the word Droid in the naming is violating said trademark. I've noticed other apps that do it (Twitdroid), and never once considered it a problem. The name in question would be ServiceDroid.

    Hi all I am currently using netbeans for a project. I have created my db using MySQL Workbench. I have two relationships that are one to one. However once I create the POJOs using netbeans hibernate mapping files tools they are being created as one to many.   • Is there a way to iterate over all open windows in Mac OS X?

    When you unplug an external monitor with a higher resolution that your macbook from your laptop, the windows mostly retain their width, but their size gets clipped to the (smaller) height of the macbook screen. When you plug the monitor back in, their size remains frustratingly small. My question is: is there any way that I can iterate over all open windows, save their size, and restore them once the monitor gets plugged in again?

    If I start a REPL and then do something that throws an exception like (use 'non-existent-thing) ** then after that the REPL ceases to evaluate anything I enter. Is there a special key I can press to make it turn round, face me, uncross its arms and listen once more ? Or must I ctrl-d, restart, type everything up to where I was and get it right this time ? ** which results in: Exception in thread "Thread-1" java.lang.RuntimeException: java.io.FileNotFoundException: Could not locate non_existent_thing__init.class or non_existent_thing.clj on classpath: (NO_SOURCE_FILE:0)

    Total JacaScript n00b question right here: I've made this snippet that clicks a link after 10th second: function timeout() { window.setTimeout(function() { $('img.left').click(); }, 1000); setTimeout("timeout()", 1000); } timeout(); My question is, how do I execute this function every 10th second, instead of just once? Is this the best way to do this, or is there some kind of nifty jQuery method that you prefer?

  • Cross-browser method for hiding page elements until all content is loaded to prevent layout from appearing broken during load?

    I have an issue where due to some elements loading faster than others, the page looks broken for a few seconds at the start. An example is the CSS Pie behavior that allows me to do curved corners in IE, it appears before it becomes curved which looks bad. What would be ideal would be it somehow knowing when everything is loaded and then appear all at once, possibly including some kind of elegant visual way of not making the user feel impatient... any ideas or common tricks for doing this?

This is the command I think I need to use convert -size 640x300 fileName.pdf slide.png Now if I run that command from terminal it works fine, but I need a way of getting each slides name so I can add it into a model.     Hi all, I am just trying to count the number of white spaces to the LEFT of a line from a text file. I have been using count( line.begin(), line.end(), ' ' ); but obviously that includes ALL white spaces to the left, in between words and to the right. So basically what I'm wanting it to do is once it hits a non-space character stop it from counting the white spaces. Thanks everyone.
