  • OpenID: Trying to Get Email Address from Google OP

    - by Zaff
I’m using dotnetopenauth 3.2 to implement Openid and can’t figure out how to get Google to pass the email address in the Claims Response. I know that Google doesn’t support simple registration, but I can’t determine what they do support. Caveat to this question is that I just started learning OpenID and I know I don’t have a solid grasp on the specification which I think is leading to my confusion. Any help would be appreciated!

  • Direct network transfers C#

    - by Wladek
I was just curious, is it possible to have direct network transfers in c#, without local caching. e.g. I have response stream which represents GoogleDrive file and request stream to upload file to another GoogleDrive account. At that momment I can download file to local pc and next upload it to the google drive. But is it possible to upload it directly from one google drive to another or, at least, start uploading before full download will be completed. Thank

  • can we use both custom button and inbuilt button in datagridview

    - by Srikanth Mattihalli
    HI all, I am using Datagridview in asp.net. I have used custom buttons of up and down in the datagridview along with edit,delete and paging options. I am handling the up down buttons by raising events in rowcommand and the code is as below string command = e.CommandName; Response.Write(e.CommandArgument.ToString()); int index = Convert.ToInt32(e.CommandArgument.ToString()); int count = GridView1.Rows.Count; int keyValue = Convert.ToInt32(GridView1.Rows[index].Cells1.Text); string value = GridView1.Rows[index].Cells[4].Text; SqlConnection conn = new SqlConnection(SqlDataSource1.ConnectionString); SqlCommand cmd = new SqlCommand(); if (command == "up") { if (index > 0) { index = index - 1; int keyValue1 = Convert.ToInt32(GridView1.Rows[index].Cells[1].Text); string value1 = GridView1.Rows[index].Cells[4].Text; cmd.Connection = conn; cmd.CommandText = "UPDATE [category] SET [order_id] = '" + value + "' WHERE [category_id]=" + keyValue1 + ";UPDATE [category] SET [order_id] = '" + value1 + "' WHERE [category_id]=" + keyValue + ";"; conn.Open(); cmd.ExecuteNonQuery(); conn.Close(); } } else if (command == "down") { if (index < count - 1) { index = index + 1; int keyValue1 = Convert.ToInt32(GridView1.Rows[index].Cells[1].Text); string value1 = GridView1.Rows[index].Cells[4].Text; cmd.Connection = conn; cmd.CommandText = "UPDATE [category] SET [order_id] = '" + value + "' WHERE [category_id]=" + keyValue1 + ";UPDATE [category] SET [order_id] = '" + value1 + "' WHERE [category_id]=" + keyValue + ";"; conn.Open(); cmd.ExecuteNonQuery(); conn.Close(); } } Response.Redirect("Default.aspx"); Designer file " DeleteCommand="DELETE FROM [category] WHERE [category_id] = @category_id" InsertCommand="INSERT INTO [category] ([categoryname], [navigation_url], [order_id]) VALUES (@categoryname, @navigation_url, @order_id)" SelectCommand="SELECT * FROM [category] order by order_id" UpdateCommand="UPDATE [category] SET [categoryname] = @categoryname, [navigation_url] = @navigation_url, [order_id] = @order_id WHERE [category_id] = @category_id" After this my edit,delete and paging is not working bcoz of event conflicts. Can anyone plz help me on this, so that i will be able to use both custom buttons(up and down) and edit,delete and paging features.

  • Why am I getting org.xml.sax.SAXException for this block of XML?

    - by drachenstern
    I've anonymised a bit of this. Hopefully it doesn't detract from the useful message. stringARRAY is where I think I'm getting thrown at, but I'm not sure, so if I'm looking at the wrong place, lemme know. From the WSDL <xsd:element name="LongishOpName"> <xsd:complexType> <xsd:sequence> <xsd:element maxOccurs="unbounded" name="stringARRAY" type="xsd:string" /> <xsd:element name="stringfield1" type="xsd:string" /> <xsd:element name="stringfield2" type="xsd:string" /> </xsd:sequence> </xsd:complexType> </xsd:element> Actual method call looks like this: string originalValue = "some useful value"; string[] usefulName1 = new[] { originalValue }; service.response[] responses = server.LongishOpName( usefulName1, someString1, someString2 ); And it generates this XML to the server (Thanks to Fiddler2): <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <soap:Envelope xmlns:soap="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"> <soap:Body> <LongishOpName xmlns="http://appropriate-namespace"> <stringARRAY>114003</stringARRAY> <stringfield1>a string</stringfield1> <stringfield2>a string</stringfield2> </LongishOpName> </soap:Body> </soap:Envelope> To which I get this response <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <soapenv:Envelope xmlns:soapenv="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"> <soapenv:Body> <soapenv:Fault> <faultcode>soapenv:Server.userException</faultcode> <faultstring>org.xml.sax.SAXException: Found character data inside an array element while deserializing</faultstring> <detail> <ns1:hostname xmlns:ns1="http://xml.apache.org/axis/">SERVERNAME</ns1:hostname> </detail> </soapenv:Fault> </soapenv:Body> </soapenv:Envelope> Is my soap message actually coming out malformed? (yes I am using the ASP.NET web references to do all the lifting, I'm not generating by hand) Should I be doing something different? Do I just need to go home and sleep on it and tomorrow everything will "just work"?

  • windows phone deserialization json

    - by user2042227
I have a weird issue. so I am making a few calls in my app to a webservice, which replies with data. However I am using a token based login system, so the first time the user enters the app I get a token from the webservice to login for that specific user and that token returns only that users details. The problem I am having is when the user changes I need to make the calls again, to get the new user's details, but using visual studio's breakpoint debugging, it shows the new user's token making the call however the problem is when the json is getting deserialized, it is as if it still reads the old data and deserializes that, when I exit my app with the new user it works fine, so its as if it is reading cached values, but I have no idea how to clear it? I am sure the new calls are being made and the problem lies with the deserializing, but I have tried clearing the values before deserializing them again, however nothing works. am I missing something with the json deserializer, how van I clear its cached values? here I make the call and set it not to cache so it makes a new call everytime: client.Headers[HttpRequestHeader.CacheControl] = "no-cache"; var token_details = await client.DownloadStringTaskAsync(uri); and here I deserialize the result, it is at this section the old data gets shown, so the raw json being shown inside "token_details" is correct, only once I deserialize the token_details, it shows the wrong data. deserialized = JsonConvert.DeserializeObject(token_details); and the class I am deserializing into is a simple class nothing special happening here, I have even tried making the constructor so that it clears the values each time it gets called. public class test { public string status { get; set; } public string name{ get; set; } public string birthday{ get; set; } public string errorDes{ get; set; } public test() { status = ""; name= ""; birthday= ""; errorDes= ""; } } uri's before making the calls: {https://whatever.co.za/token/?code=BEBCg==&id=WP7&junk=121edcd5-ad4d-4185-bef0-22a4d27f2d0c} - old call "UBCg==" - old reply {https://whatever.co.za/token/?code=ABCg==&id=WP7&junk=56cc2285-a5b8-401e-be21-fec8259de6dd} - new call "UBCg==" - new response which is the same response as old call as you can see i did attach a new GUID everytime i make the call, but then the new uri is read before making the downloadstringtaskasync method call, but it returns with the old data

  • Stop Master page refreshing while navigating between pages?

    - by Wael Dalloul
I'm using Master Page in my ASP.net application, in the master page I put a ContentPlaceHolder in Update Panel to support AJAX in child pages, the question is how to stop Refreshing "master page controls" while navigating between pages? For navigation between pages I tried to use Response.Redirect, windows.location java script with no success, shall I use the Frames or IFrames instead of Master Pages to stop Refreshing? any suggestion to solve this issue will be highly appreciated, Thanks in advance...

  • How to add values dynamically to I18n?

    - by Dima Goltsman
I have many ymls in my rails app, and i want to put some of them in other service, so that i can call this from multiple places. the response of this call will be a hash. {"en" : {"test" : {"text1" : "hi english"}, {"text2" : "mambo number %{num}"} }, "es" : {"test" : {"text1" : "hi espaniol"}, {"text2" : "mamboes numeros %{num}"} } } is there a way i can load that hash into I18n translations like I18n.add_translations(some_hash) so i can access them with I18n.t("test.text1") I18n.t("test.text2", :num => 5) how can i achieve it?

  • Ajax to read updated values from XML

    - by punit
    I am creating file upload progress bar. I have a CGI script which copies the data, and here I increment the progress bar value by ONE after certain iterations. I am storing the incremented value in XML file (I also tried using plain text file). On the other side I have ajax reading incremented value from xml and depending on that it increments the DIV element. However, what happens here is, it seems to me that although the ajax reads all the incremented values but it processes it after the CGI has finished execution. That is progress bar starts execution once the file copying and other stuff in CGI is completed. My code is: AJAX:::: function polling_start() { //GETS CALLED WHEN USER HITS FILE UPLOAD BUTTON intervalID = window.setInterval(send_request,100); } window.onload = function (){ request = initXMLHttpClient(); request.overrideMimeType('text/xml'); progress = document.getElementById('progress'); } function initXMLHttpClient() { if (window.XMLHttpRequest){ // code for IE7+, Firefox, Chrome, Opera, Safari xmlhttp = new XMLHttpRequest(); } else{ // code for IE6, IE5 xmlhttp = new ActiveXObject("Microsoft.XMLHTTP"); } return xmlhttp } function send_request() { request.open("GET","progress_bar.xml",true); request.onreadystatechange = request_handler; request.send(); } function request_handler() { if (request.readyState == 4 && request.status == 200) { var level=request.responseXML.getElementsByTagName('PROGRESS')[0].firstChild; progress.style.width = progress.innerHTML = level.nodeValue + '%'; progress.style.backgroundColor = "green"; } } /****ON SERVER SIDE*********/ char xmlDat1[] = "<DOCUMENT><PROGRESS>"; char xmlDat2[] = "</PROGRESS></DOCUMENT>"; fptr = fopen("progress_bar.xml", "w"); .........OTHER STUFF.............................. ................................. if(i == inc && j<=100) { fprintf(fptr, "%s\n", "\n\n\n]"); //fprintf(fptr, "%s\n", ""); fprintf(fptr, "%s", xmlDat1); // fprintf(fptr, "%d" ,j); fprintf(fptr, "%s" ,xmlDat2); fseek(fptr, 0, SEEK_SET); /*fprintf(fptr, "%d" ,j); fseek(fptr, 0, SEEK_SET);*/ i = 0; //sleep(1); j++; } (I also tried to write in .text, but same response) Any quick response would be appreciable.

  • Is it a good idea to mock/stub in integration tests?

    - by ez
Say there are multiple requests in a integration test, some of them are sphinx calls(locator for example). Should we just stub out the entire response of these sphinx call, or, since it is a integration test, we want to excise the entire test without stubbing. If that is the case, how do we still keep test independent in the situation when sphinx fails, no internet connection, or third party server non-responsive. Give reasons. Thanks

  • JQuery uploadify plugin not working

    - by Nitesh Panchal
Hello, I first used primefaces FileUpload component and it didn't work. Always gave "HTTP Error". So i thought there is some bug with this component and went to plain old JQuery and tried using uploadify. But still i get the same error. I am using Container Managed Security. Is this the reason for not working properly? This is my script :- $(document).ready(function(){ $('#photoInput').uploadify({ 'script' : '/Blogger/fileUploadServlet', 'uploader' : './uploadify/uploadify.swf', 'cancelImg' : './uploadify/cancel.png', 'auto' : true }); And this is my servlet which is never executed :- package Servlets; import java.io.IOException; import java.io.PrintWriter; import java.util.Iterator; import java.util.List; import javax.servlet.ServletException; import javax.servlet.annotation.WebServlet; import javax.servlet.http.HttpServlet; import javax.servlet.http.HttpServletRequest; import javax.servlet.http.HttpServletResponse; import org.apache.commons.fileupload.FileItemFactory; import org.apache.commons.fileupload.FileUploadException; import org.apache.commons.fileupload.disk.DiskFileItemFactory; import org.apache.commons.fileupload.servlet.ServletFileUpload; @WebServlet(name = "fileUploadServlet", urlPatterns = {"/fileUploadServlet"}) public class fileUploadServlet extends HttpServlet { protected void processRequest(HttpServletRequest request, HttpServletResponse response) throws ServletException, IOException, FileUploadException { PrintWriter out = response.getWriter(); try { System.out.println("Executed!!"); boolean isMultipart = ServletFileUpload.isMultipartContent(request); // Create a factory for disk-based file items FileItemFactory factory = new DiskFileItemFactory(); // Create a new file upload handler ServletFileUpload upload = new ServletFileUpload(factory); // Parse the request List /* FileItem */ items = upload.parseRequest(request); Iterator e = items.iterator(); while(e.hasNext()){ System.out.println(e.next().toString()); } } finally { out.close(); } } } }); Please help me. • .Net 3.5 Asynchronous Socket Server Performance Problem

    - by iBrAaAa
I'm developing an Asynchronous Game Server using .Net Socket Asynchronous Model( BeginAccept/EndAccept...etc.) The problem I'm facing is described like that: When I have only one client connected, the server response time is very fast but once a second client connects, the server response time increases too much. I've measured the time from a client sends a message to the server until it gets the reply in both cases. I found that the average time in case of one client is about 17ms and in case of 2 clients about 280ms!!! What I really see is that: When 2 clients are connected and only one of them is moving(i.e. requesting service from the server) it is equivalently equal to the case when only one client is connected(i.e. fast response). However, when the 2 clients move at the same time(i.e. requests service from the server at the same time) their motion becomes very slow (as if the server replies each one of them in order i.e. not simultaneously). Basically, what I am doing is that: When a client requests a permission for motion from the server and the server grants him the request, the server then broadcasts the new position of the client to all the players. So if two clients are moving in the same time, the server is eventually trying to broadcast to both clients the new position of each of them at the same time. EX: Client1 asks to go to position (2,2) Client2 asks to go to position (5,5) Server sends to each of Client1 & Client2 the same two messages: message1: "Client1 at (2,2)" message2: "Client2 at (5,5)" I believe that the problem comes from the fact that Socket class is thread safe according MSDN documentation http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.net.sockets.socket.aspx. (NOT SURE THAT IT IS THE PROBLEM) Below is the code for the server: /// /// This class is responsible for handling packet receiving and sending /// public class NetworkManager { /// /// An integer to hold the server port number to be used for the connections. Its default value is 5000. /// private readonly int port = 5000; /// /// hashtable contain all the clients connected to the server. /// key: player Id /// value: socket /// private readonly Hashtable connectedClients = new Hashtable(); /// /// An event to hold the thread to wait for a new client /// private readonly ManualResetEvent resetEvent = new ManualResetEvent(false); /// /// keeps track of the number of the connected clients /// private int clientCount; } } /// /// A getter for this class instance. /// /// only instance. public static NetworkManager NetworkManagerInstance { get { return networkManagerInstance; } } private NetworkManager() {} /// Starts the game server and holds this thread alive /// public void StartServer() { //Bind the mainSocket to the server IP address and port mainSocket.Bind(new IPEndPoint(IPAddress.Any, port)); } /// /// Receives connections of new clients and fire the NewClientConnected event /// private void OnClientConnected(IAsyncResult asyncResult) { Interlocked.Increment(ref clientCount); ClientInfo newClient = new ClientInfo { WorkerSocket = mainSocket.EndAccept(asyncResult), PlayerId = clientCount }; • Spring webflow 1.0 - Downloading a file

    - by Dave
I am using spring webflow 1.0. I am uploading a csv file, parsing it, and displying results before proceeding. The user has an option to download a csv file that contains the records that did not pass validation. When I click the link in a JSP to download this file, webflow invokes a form Action. The form action writes out a file via getting the output stream off the response: HttpServletResponse response = ((ServletExternalContext) context.getExternalContext()).getResponse(); I do not want to leave the jsp I'm currently on. I just want to download the file. In other words, I do not want to transition to another state. I just want to serve the dynamically rendered file. Everything works (I don't leave the page, and I download the file), but I'm getting the following error in my console: _pEncydKfggPHJo8=org.springframework.webflow.engine.NoMatchingTransitionException: No transition was matched on the event(s) signaled by the [1] action(s) that executed in this action state 'downloadErrorReportAction' of flow 'myFlow'; transitions must be defined to handle action result outcomes -- possible flow configuration error? • Java Deflater strategies - DEFAULT_STRATEGY, FILTERED and HUFFMAN_ONLY

    - by Keyur
I'm trying to find a balance between performance and degree of compression when gzipping a Java webapp response. In looking at the Deflater class, I can set a level and a strategy. The levels are self explanatory - BEST_SPEED to BEST_COMPRESSION. I'm not sure regarding the strategies - DEFAULT_STRATEGY, FILTERED and HUFFMAN_ONLY I can make some sense from the Javadoc but I was wondering if someone had used a specific strategy in their apps and if you saw any difference in terms of performance / degree of compression. Thanks, Keyur

  • willSendRequest redirectResponse doesn't work in iPhone SDK2.0

    - by WholeIphone
I use the delegate method connection:willSendRequest:redirectResponse: in SDK 2.2, the code like below: - (NSURLRequest *)connection:(NSURLConnection *)con willSendRequest:(NSURLRequest *)request redirectResponse:(NSURLResponse *)redirectResponse { if(redirectResponse) { if(!self.autoRedirect) { NSLog(@"response will redirect"); request = nil; } } return request; if the request is returned to nil ,it seems it hangs up here, and delegate didReceiveData will not get called. but it works in SDK 3. Any suggestions about this?

  • How can I query Google Spreadsheets API with a string value?

    - by ColinM
I am using Zend_Gdata_SpreadsheetsListQuery. In PHP my query is: "confirmation=$confirmation" The problem is that $confirmation = 'AB-CD-EFG-012345'; Apparently the hyphens are causing problems with the query and the exception thrown is: Uncaught exception 'Zend_Gdata_App_HttpException' with message 'Expected response code 200, got 400 Parse error: Invalid token encountered' How can I quote or escape the value to not cause parse errors? Single quotes cause the same error, double quotes don't throw errors but there are no results to match.
