  • Navigation bat not displayed at top of page. What's wrong?

    I'm having what appears to be a simple problem. I declare a navigation controller but the navigation bar that comes up is not displayed at the top of the page. http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc3/hs410.snc3/24784_889732028002_28110599_54506042_4580563_n.jpg I declare the navigation controller like so...     I have a SQL query in my ASP.net web app that looks like this: SELECT * FROM [Records] WHERE ([title] LIKE '%' + @title + '%') @title, of course, is the value of a text box on the page. My question is, why, when the text box is empty, does this return nothing? And how can I make it return everything, like logic tells me it ought to?

    Hi, In order to generate the encrypted data we would need to define a Key that should suffice generating the data. But in .net DESCryptoServiceProvider requires Key and Intialisation Vector to generate the encrypted data. In this regard, I would like to know the importance & the benefit gained by defining this initialisation vector field. Is this mandatory while encryption using DES algorithm.   • CVS tools for repo monitoring on windows?

    I sometime use the very simple but effective svncommitmonitor, http://tools.tortoisesvn.net/CommitMonitor to monitor activity. It's easy to see in the sys tray on a windows box and I've become used to it by now. So, is there a similar/identical tool for CVS. Some googling and to my surprise I couldn't find one. Any tips?

    While giving permissions to the 'defaultAppPool' user I am getting the message 'There is no such global user or group: DefaultAppPool.' Can anyone help me here! However, using command 'net localgroup "Performance Monitor Users" DefaultAppPool /add' I am able to resolve the error but i am facing this problem in Windows Server 2003/IIS 6.0. Here, I am always prompted as 'There is no such global user or group: DefaultAppPool.' I have also added the 'Network Service' but no avail.
