  Hello Everybody, We develop applications for SAP using their SDK. SAP provides a SDK for changing and handling events occuring in the user interface. For example, with this SDK we can catch a click on a button and do something on the click. This programming can be done either VB or C#. This can also be used to create new fields on the pre-existing form. We have developed a specific application which allows users to store the definition required for new field in a database table and the fields are created at the run time. So far, this is good. What we require now is that the user should be able to store the validation code for the field in the database and the same should be executed on the run time.   I have the following problem : I am given a tree with N apples, for each apple I am given it's weight and height,I can pick apples up to a given height H,each time I pick an apple the height of every apple is increased with U(also given).I have to find out the maximum weight of apples I can pick. e.g: N=4 H=100 U=10 (height-eight) apple1: 91 10 apple2: 82 30 apple3: 93 5 apple4: 94 15 The answer is 45 : I first pick the apple with the weight of 15 then the one with the weight of 30. I would like to know if someone here could help me with giving me an hint on how I should approach this problem. Thank you.

  I am trying to add a Jquery calendar picker to a text box at the time of creation, but I cant find how.   I have 2 Xaml files, one containing a DataTemplate which has a resource definition for an Image brush, and the other containing a content control which presents this DataTemplate. The data template is bound to a view model class. Everything seems to work EXCEPT the ImageBrush resource, which just shows up white... Any ideas? • Two DIV layers: resize top DIV based on dynamic height of bottom DIV

  I have two DIV layers, one above the other. In the top DIV, there is an image, and in the bottom DIV, there is a block of text. The amount of text in the bottom DIV will change, thus increasing and decreasing the required height. I need to dynamically decrease the height of the image in the top DIV based on how much height is required for the bottom. I have exactly 600px vertical space available. For example: If the bottom DIV requires 200px height, I need for the image to change height to 400px. If the bottom DIV requires 300px height, I need for the image to change height to 300px. I know that I can make the image height 100% of the top DIV, thus allowing it to expand or contract as needed. The issue is that I need for the bottom DIV to be able to expand freely and for the top DIV to react accordingly.   I have read these very good questions on SO about SQL stored procedures: When should you use stored procedures? and Are Stored Procedures more efficient, in general, than inline statements on modern RDBMS’s? I am a beginner on integrating .NET/SQL though I have used basic SQL functionality for more than a decade in other environments. It's time to advance with regards to organization and deployment. I am using .NET C# 3.5, Visual Studio 2008 and SQL Server 2008; though this question can be regarded as language- and database- agnostic, meaning that it could easily apply to other environments that use stored procedures and a relational database. Given that I have an application with inline SQL queries, and I am interested in converting to stored procedures for organizational and performance purposes, what are your recommendations for doing so? Here are some additional questions in my mind related to this subject that may help shape the answers: Should I create the stored procedures in SQL using SQL Management Studio and simply re-create the database when it is installed for a client? Am I better off creating all of the stored procedures in my application, inside of a database initialization method? It seems logical to assume that creating stored procedures must follow the creation of tables in a new installation. My database initialization method creates new tables and inserts some default data. My plan is to create stored procedures following that step, but I am beginning to think there might be a better way to set up a database from scratch (such as in the installer of the program). Thoughts on this are appreciated. I have a variety of queries throughout the application. Some queries are incredibly simple (SELECT id FROM table) and others are extremely long and complex, performing several joins and accepting approximately 80 parameters. Should I replace all queries with stored procedures, or only those that might benefit from doing so? Finally, as this topic obviously requires some research and education, can you recommend an article, book, or tutorial that covers the nuances of using stored procedures instead of direct statements?

  I want to make my system redirect unknown requests such as www.address.com/a_company to the adress www.address.com/companies/company/ and display the company a_company if it exists in the database, otherwise throw the user to a 404 not found page. So in detail, I want to make namespace that is as the first example dynamically, if the company exist in the database, I have no problem connecting to the database and retrieving information or finding a way to parse a company name, I just need help how to make my system check and run a function every time the address doesn't exist and show the second page (/companies/company/).. I am using an Acl as well, but I think it should be fine if the page is /companies/company and then possibly add /?c=a_company or similar. Thank you. /Marcus

It is (well, supposed to) passed by locals() into the html template (all other variables are passed that way successfully): return render_to_response('gallery_page.html', locals()) I have this: {% include menu_code %} inside the template html. But instead of being interpreted as code it is just shown as text in the browser. What am I doing wrong? How to make it work as a dynamically generated menu?

The problem is this ModelForm is that each field defined in the model will be displayed on the template. I would like to remove them from the form if they are not needed: exemple : if the user has no right on the model Company, it won't be used it in the rendered form in the template. The problem of that is you have to put the list of fields in the Meta class of the form with fields or exclude attribute, but i don't know how to manage them dynamically. Any Idea?? So I in effect need to convince the string template setAttribute that I'm passing in an object with properties elem1 and elem2 when in fact I have a List of KeyValuePairs. Thanks

Edit: I've been asked to elaborate on the type of typo. In Ruby and in Groovy, you can assign to a variable with an accidental name that is never read. You can call methods that don't exist (obviously your tests should catch this, it's been said). You can refer to classes that don't exist, etc. etc. Basically any valid syntax, even with typographical errors, is valid in both Ruby and Groovy.

In a nutshell, I have a query similar to the following: SELECT P.LAST_NAME, P.FIRST_NAME, D.DEMO_GROUP FROM PERSON P JOIN PERSON_DEMOGRAPHIC PD ON PD.PERSON_ID = P.PERSON_ID JOIN DEMOGRAPHIC D ON D.DEMOGRAPHIC_ID = PD.DEMOGRAPHIC_ID This returns output like this: LAST_NAME FIRST_NAME DEMO_GROUP --------------------------------------------- Johnson Bob Male Smith Jane Female Smith Jane Teacher Beeblebrox Zaphod Male Beeblebrox Zaphod Alien Beeblebrox Zaphid Politician I would prefer the output be similar to the following: LAST_NAME FIRST_NAME Male Female Teacher Alien Politician --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Johnson Bob 1 0 0 0 0 Smith Jane 0 1 1 0 0 Beeblebrox Zaphod 1 0 0 1 1 The number of rows in the DEMOGRAPHIC table varies, so I can't say with certainty how many columns I need. The query needs to be flexible. Yes, it would be trivial to do this in code. But this query is one piece of a complicated set of stored procedures, views, and reporting services, many of which are outside my sphere of influence. I need to produce this output inside the database to avoid breaking the system. Any ideas? This is MS SQL Server 2005, by the way. Thanks.

I'm having a bear of a time trying to do this. I've tried the method in this article but I get an error when I try to run the query saying that I can't use DECLARE statements... do you guys have any idea how this can be done? I'm using VS08 and whatever DB is installed in it (I normally use MySQL so I don't know what flavor of DB this really is... it's an .mdf file?)

  I have a many-to-many relationship with a link box, and I want to pull those models together into one form so I can update from the same page. I'm really struggling with getting the check_box to even show all the elements of my array - I've scoured the net and been working on this literally all day, and I'm finding it difficult to apply the information I'm reading to my problem. I'm also extremely new to RoR and I've been following a bit of an outdated video tutorial (pre 2.0) so apologies for my code. So far, I've got it to output only one key pair in the array (the last one) - although outside the form, the code used in the tutorial works exactly how it should. Thats of little use though! Host is the model for which the main form is for, and Billing is the outside model that I'm trying to add to the form.   I make a jquery .ajax call and I'm expecting a json result. The catch is, if there are say 5 authors, I'll get author_details_0, author_details_1, author_details_2, etc.... How can I dynamically construct the name of the variable to retrieve from json ? • C++ assignment operators dynamic arrays

  First off i know the multiplying part is wrong but i have some questions about the code. 1. When i am overloading my operator+ i print out the matrix using cout << *this then right after i return *this and when i do a+b on matix a and matix b it doesnt give me the same thing this is very confusing. 2. When i make matrix c down in my main i cant use my default constructor for some reason because when i go to set it = using my assignment operator overloaded function it gives me an error saying "expression must be a modifiable value. although using my constructor that sets the row and column numbers is the same as my default constructor using (0,0). 3. • Create chart using dynamic interactive ranges to select the series in Excel 2007

  I would like to create a non-VBA based solution to the following question: How do I create a multi-series chart that will allow a user to select from a dropdown to change the data being graphed? I can do this already when the data series is contiguous; however, I'd like to be able to do it for non-contiguous data. Is this possible? My data look something like this: ID Salary Sal Min Sal Mid Sal Max Division Job Grade Job Subgrade Job XXX 10000 5000 15000 25000 North 13 1 Programmer XXX 12000 5000 15000 25000 North 13 1 Programmer XXX 14000 5000 15000 25000 South 13 1 Analyst XXX 11000 5000 15000 25000 South 13 1 Analyst XXX 20000 5000 15000 25000 North 14 1 Super Programmer XXX 25000 5000 15000 25000 North 14 1 Super Programmer XXX 22000 5000 15000 25000 North 14 1 Manager XXX 17000 5000 15000 25000 South 14 1 Manager XXX 19000 5000 15000 25000 South 14 1 Manager I would like to display Salary, Sal Min, Sal Mid, and Sal Max using a line graph.
