  I'm trying to set the ForceCheckout property on an SPList item and it's just not taking. I'm calling the Update() command as required. All it should take, in essence, is the following two lines. $myList.ForceCheckout = $false $myList.Update() Any ideas why this isn't working? It's remains $true no matter what.

• popUpButton is setEnabled:YES but doesn't allow click...

  my popUpButton is in a window with a group of popUpButtons. If I try to click the 2nd of 4 vertically aligned buttons then the popdown menu will not appear. If I select the 3rd or 4th then the 2nd will now be selectable. throughout my code the setEnabled on that popUpButton is :YES. ideas on where to look in my controller? This is a Objective C/Cocoa Question.

• Stuttering animation in iPhone OpenGL ES although fps is high

  I am building a 2d OpenGL es application For iPad it displays a background texture and numerous textures on top of it which are always in motion. Every frame their location is recalculated based on time delta and speed and the entire thing is being rendered at 60 fps successfully, but still as the movement speed of the sprites raises, thing look stuttering. Any ideas? Are there inherit problems with what I'm doing? Are there known design patterns for smooth animation?

  iPhone Safari seems to have some sort of problem whereby a page with css like this: body { background: #000 url(fixedimage.png) fixed repeat-x; } ...doesn't actually lead to a fixed image. It scrolls as the user scrolls. I've seen plenty of people kvetching about this on the internets, but no real solution. Does anyone have any ideas?

• WPF button template alignment not setting correctly

  Hi guys, I have created a button template consisting of a border and a content presenter. A style is then wrapped around this template and applied to a button, when this button is used it is not carrying the values for horizontal and vertical alignment. In the designer the allignments are showing and the button is in the correct place, but when i run the program the button appears to have horizontal alignment = left and vertical alignment = right. Any ideas?

  Is it possible to create a Line in XAML (without any C# code behind) to align a line inside of a layout container such as a Grid? I'd like to effectively have: <Grid> <Line StrokeThickness="1" HorizontalAlignment="Stretch" VerticalAlignment="Bottom" Stroke="Red"/> </Grid> I need to use StrokeDashArray and StrokeDashOffset, otherwise I would just use a Border control with the BorderThickness set to "0,0,0,1"... I know it can be done if I download a PDF printer and print to that; but I need it to be done without the user having to do anything other than click a button in a webpage.   Hello emacs gurus, I'm out of ideas here - my emacs crashes when popup dialog is opened. The x-popup-dialog function is probably to blame but I found no workaround to this. My Emacs version is 23.1.1 . Unfortunately some functionality of emacs calls this (e.x. customize asks whether it should save the changes) which causes the crash. Does anybody know how to fix it or disable it?

• taglib# returns wrong duration

  I'm getting the duration of an MP3 file in this way: TagLib.File file = TagLib.File.Create(fileName); var duration = file.Properties.Duration; and it is consistently giving me a duration between 68 and 75% of the real duration. Windows File Manager, VLC and just playing the MP3 and measuring with a stopwatch agree on the other duration. Any ideas what's wrong here?

  I just made this demo extracting out what I'm trying to accomplish: Autosize Main Content Area I want the pink/yellow area to act according to these rules: Minimum height is the size of its content (which is variable) IF content size is smaller than viewport size Otherwise minimum height is such that it adjusts to fill the window. Checking out the source to that demo, what am I missing? I feel like this is a pretty easy case that shouldn't require javascript. Any ideas?
