  When i run a mysql select statement, it takes very long because i have already previously deleted a very large number of rows. Is there a way for the table to start scanning from the bottom, as opposed to from the top?

  Hi Experts, I am having an issue with importing a large(60MB) CSV file in MYSQL DB. The problem arises when an address field has multiple comma seperated values e.g. home no, street no, town etc. I tried to use BigDump for it but, the problem did not solved because of a single field containing multiple comma separated values.   Hi, I'm xml-serializing a object with a large number of properties and I have two properties with DateTime types. I'd like to format the dates for the serialized output. I don't really want to implement the ISerializable interface and overwrite the serialization for every property. Is there any other way to achieve this? (I'm using C#, .NET 2) Thanks.

• Compressing ASPX pageview in code or compress HTTP in IIS?

  In the past, with pages with large viewstate I have overridden the PageStatePersister class so when the state is saved I compress it. On Load I decompress it. I have haven't really thought about it, but could IIS handle something like this better? The reason I did this was to keep my pages slimmer because I have a lot of custom controls on the page and the viewstate was huge. The most important point is: it must be super fast. I've tried md5 and sha1 and they're using to much cpu power. Clashes are not a problem. I want a formula that will make it for eample twice its size but from the center * * * * * * * * Therefore the new shape is twice as large and from the center of the polygon.   I am working on localization project and when i change the language the UI gets disturbed because some translations are large. For example say there is button with text "Select All". But when this is localized in french it reads as "Sélectionner tout". That is larger than Select All and hence the gui gets affected. Is there any way to localize the gui as well.

  I'm created a very large map with many poly areas (over 20 coordinates each) for regions within the map. However, you can't add css to the AREA tag as I was told it's not a visible element.
