I have some example of pushing array to array in session object: class someClass extends someOtherOne { ...////// some other code here that starts session and creates namespace public function __add2Session($a,$b) { $namespc = $this -> __getnewNameSpace(); //returns a Zend Session Namesapce (object) if (!isset($namespc -> {$a})) { $namespc -> {$a} = array(); } array_push($namespc -> {$a}, $b); } } ...///////////// $item=array(1=>"one",2=>"two",3=>"three",4=>"four",5=>"five",6=>"six",7=>"seven"); $k = new someClass(); $cart = new Zend_Session_Namespace('Cart'); $k -> __add2Session("items",$item); The result is when I reload the page several times - the value of $cart -> items in the session gets overwritten and not populated. Can somebody explain why it occurs and how do I fix this? I want to have $cart -> items to be an "array in array" like: $cart -> items = array(array(1=>"one",2=>"two"), array(1=>"two",2=>"three"));

  • Using CreateSourceQuery in CTP4 Code First

    I'm guessing this is impossible, but I'll throw it out there anyway. Is it possible to use CreateSourceQuery when programming with the EF4 CodeFirst API, in CTP4? I'd like to eagerly load properties attached to a collection of properties, like this: var sourceQuery = this.CurrentInvoice.PropertyInvoices.CreateSourceQuery(); sourceQuery.Include("Property").ToList(); But of course CreateSourceQuery is defined on EntityCollection<T>, whereas CodeFirst uses plain old ICollection (obviously). Is there some way to convert? I've gotten the below to work, but it's not quite what I'm looking for. Anyone know how to go from what's below to what's above (code below is from a class that inherits DbContext)? ObjectSet<Person> OSPeople = base.ObjectContext.CreateObjectSet<Person>(); OSPeople.Include(Pinner => Pinner.Books).ToList(); Thanks!     Hi, I'm creating a library component for other developers on my team using PHP and Zend. This component needs to be able to take as input a date (string) and another string telling it the format of that date. Looking through the Zend documentation and examples, I thought I found the solution - $dateObject = Zend_Date('13.04.2006', array('date_format' => 'dd.MM.yyyy')); this line, however, throws an error - call to undefined function. So instead I tried this - $dt = Zend_Locale_Format::getDate('13.04.2006', array('date_format' => 'dd.MM.yyyy')); This gets the job done, but throws an error if a date that is entered isn't valid. The docs make it look like you can use the isDate() function to check validity - Zend_Date::isDate('13.04.2006', array('date_format' => 'dd.MM.yyyy')) but this line always returns false. So my questions - Am I going about this the right way? If not, is there a better way to handle this via Zend or straight PHP? If I do use Zend_Locale_Format::getDate(), do I need to worry about a locale being set elsewhere and changing the results of the call? I'm locked into PHP 5.2.6 on windows, btw... so 5.3+ functions & strptime() are out.

    I have the following Model: Entities: Product (Contains basic data for products: price, etc) Attribute (Contains data for all possible optional attributes) ProductAttribute (Contains data for optional attributes of a product, eg. Color, Model, Size). ProductAttribute is essentially a many to many relationship with payload (ProductId, AttributeID, Value) And this piece of code: private static void ListAttributes(Product p) { p.ProductAttributes.Load(); foreach (var att in p.ProductAttributes) { att.Attribute.load(); Console.WriteLine("\tAttribute Name:{0} - Value {1}", att.Attribute.Name, att.AttributeValue); } } This piece of code will fire a query for each time the att.Attribute.Load() method is called in the foreach loop, only so i can get display the name of the attribute. I would like to fetch the Attribute.Name together with the query that fetches all attribute values, i.e. join ProductAttribute and Attribute. Is there any way to achieve this within my method?

When any of the button is pressed, the button gets focus and bolds its border and text. Is there a way to disable/remove focus? Actually the solution im looking for would be that on mouseDown the button would receive focus and would lose it on mouseUp. thanx !

    Hello, can anyone tell me if you know to be a problem with Bitmap and steganography for WM 6? I am working on a project and i have to hide a digital signature in a bitmap. The algorithm works perfect, as in untill i have the image on the memory the bitmap contains the modified bytes. But after i save the image (Bitmap.Save()) and I reopen the image, than those bytes are lost. When i say lost i mean they are the orriginal bytes from when the picture was taken. Thank you.

  • Why doesn't this CompiledQuery give a performance improvement?

    I am trying to speed up an often used query. Using a CompiledQuery seemed to be the answer. But when I tried the compiled version, there was no difference in performance between the compiled and non-compiled versions.     Hi there I need to create something like this: select name from table where active = 1 AND (name LIKE 'bla' OR description LIKE 'bla') The first part is easy: $sqlcmd = $db->select() ->from("table", "name") ->where("active = ?", 1) Now comes the tricky part. How can I nest? I know that I can just write ->orWhere("name LIKE ? OR description LIKE ?", "bla") But thats wron, because I need to dynamically change all the parts. The query will be built all the time the script runs. Some parts get deleted, some altered. In this example I need to add those OR-s because sometimes I need to search wider. "My Zend Logic" tells me that the correct way is like this: $sqlcmd = $db->select() ->from("table", "name") ->where("active = ?", 1) ->where(array( $db->select->where("name LIKE ?", "bla"), $db->select->orWhere("description LIKE ?", "bla") )) But that doesn't work (atleast I dont remember it working).   • how to prevent database to add slash to quotes

    i know this sounds really common and so trivial but , am having a challenge here. I have a web site with Zend/Doctrine and i use ckeditor for the backend management. after uploading the site i've realized that during edit testing the look and feel of the site is messed up. with the help of firebug, i've seen that there are slashes all over the html. after inline edition, the look and feel came back to normal. There are so many files , i can't think of doing other decoding before outputting data from mysql. What options do i have to solve this problem. the site is up already and i feel a bit unconfortable about this. Can anyone give a hint? thanks

  • Front-end phtml template form doesn't connect to controller.php file

    The web system which I'm working on right now, has a add.phtml (in views folder) form, which contain normal form elements and pageController.php (in Controller folder) file which has function to be connected when user hit "add page" button on the form. The codes goes like this. on add.phtml file, input type = "submit" value ="Add Page" on pageController.php file, function insertAction(){ } For some reason these two doesn't connect now.   • Upgrading From EF 4x to 6 breaks everything

    Attempted to upgrade my project from EF4 to EF6, I get build errors It appears that if i swap out the namespaces manually to include the entity.core it works, but if i change the .edmx file at all, the code reverts back to the old references and i have to manually edit the code generation files to include the update namespace references. I have attempted to "add code generation item" that does not resolve the issue at all. When i open the .edmx file in the IDE it shows me everything correctly.

  • Unable to delete inherited entity class in EF4

    I have two entities in an EF4 model (using Model First), let's call them EntityA and EntityB. EntityA is marked as abstract, and EntityB inherits from EntityA. They are similar to the following: public class EntityA { public Guid Id; public string Name; public string Uri; } public class EntityB : EntityA { public string AnotherProperty; } The generated database tables look as I would expect them, with EntityA as on table, and then another table like: EntityA_EntityB Id (PK, FK, uniqueidentifier) AnotherProperty (varchar) There is a foreign key constraint on EntityA_EntityB that references EntityA's Id property, no cascades are configured (although I did try changing these myself). The problem is that when I attempt to do something like: Context.DeleteObject(EntityA_EntityB); EF attempts to delete the EntityA_EntityB table record before deleting the EntityA table record, which of course violates the foreign key constraint on EntityA_EntityB table. Using EFProfiler I see the following commands being sent to the database: delete [dbo].[EntityA_EntityB] where (([Id] = '5c02899f-09ea-2ed9-d44b-01aef80f6b64' /* @0 */) followed by delete [dbo].[EntityA] where ([Id] = '5c02899f-09ea-2ed9-d44b-01aef80f6b64' /* @0 */) I'm completely stumped as to how to get around this problem. I would think the EF should know that it needs to delete the base class first, before deleting the inherited class. I know I could do some triggers or other database type solutions, but I'd rather avoid doing that if I can. All my classes are POCO built using some customized T4 templates. I don't want to paste in a lot of extraneous code, but if you need more information I'll provide what I can.

  • Cannot perform an ORDERBY against my EF4 data

    I have a query hitting EF4 using STEs and I'm having an issue with user-defined sorting. In debugging this, I have removed the dynamic sorting and am hard-coding it and I still have the issue. If I swap/uncomment the var results = xxx lines in GetMyBusinesses(), my results are not sorted any differently - they are always sorting it ascendingly.
