  Hi, In order to generate the encrypted data we would need to define a Key that should suffice generating the data. But in .net DESCryptoServiceProvider requires Key and Intialisation Vector to generate the encrypted data. In this regard, I would like to know the importance & the benefit gained by defining this initialisation vector field. Is this mandatory while encryption using DES algorithm.   I'm trying to run ASP.NET MVC 2 web site under the Windows Azure Dev Fabric using the DotNetOpenAuth OpenID authentication. Azure Dev fabric itself repeatedly crashes (dfloadbalancer.exe), when I authenticate. Are there any workarounds for the issue that allow to use Azure Dev fabric and DotNetOpenAuth? MSDN seems to have some old discussion on the same issue which has been abandoned.

• Possible to download entire whois database / list of registered domains?

  I wanted to do some analysis on registered domain names. Looks like I can hit whois.internic.net to get information about each domain, but it also looks like there are rate limits that prevent me from doing large numbers of queries. Is there a way to periodically (say daily) grab the entire whois database? I really only care about whether a domain is registered or not, so I don't need the full whois information.

However, using command 'net localgroup "Performance Monitor Users" DefaultAppPool /add' I am able to resolve the error but i am facing this problem in Windows Server 2003/IIS 6.0.
