• Unexpected start of already-primary server processes when heartbeat on secondary is stopped.

  Hi, I've got an active-passive Heartbeat cluster with Apache, MySQL, ActiveMQ and DRBD. Today, I wanted to perform hardware-maintenance on the secondary node (node04), so I stopped the heartbeat service before shutting it down. Then, the primary node (node03) received a shutdown notice from the secondary node (node04). What just happened here??? Heartbeat on node04 stopped and told node03, which was the active node at the time. Somehow, node03 decided to start the cluster processes that were already running. (For the processes that are not critical, I always return a 0 from the startupscript so it does not stops the entire cluster when a non-essential part fails.) When starting ActiveMQ, it returns status 1 because it is already running. This fails the node and shuts everything down. As heartbeat is not running on the secondary node, it cannot failover to there. When I tried to run ha_takeover to restart the resources, absolutely nothing happened. Only after I restarted heartbeat on the primary node the resources could be started (after a delay of 2 minutes). These are my questions: Why does heartbeat on the primary node try to start the cluster processes again? Why did ha_takeover not work? What can I do to prevent this from happening? • Why do I get this error when I try to push my SQLite3 to Postgresql (via Taps) on Cedar Stack?

  I've done quite a bit of research on Heroku Dev Center and I am now looking to the community for help. Here is my problem. I can not push my db to Heroku Cedar Stack. I am trying to migrate a sqlite database to postgresql via Taps gem. • Cisco 891w multiple VLAN configuration

  I'm having trouble getting my guest network up. I have VLAN 1 that contains all our network resources (servers, desktops, printers, etc). I have the wireless configured to use VLAN1 but authenticate with wpa2 enterprise. The guest network I just wanted to be open or configured with a simple WPA2 personal password on it's own VLAN2. I've looked at tons of documentation and it should be working but I can't even authenticate on the guest network! I've posted this on cisco's support forum a week ago but no one has really responded. • Spring security - Reach users ID without passing it through every controller

  I have a design issue that I don't know how to solve. I'm using Spring 3.2.4 and Spring security 3.1.4. I have a Account table in my database that looks like this: create table Account (id identity, username varchar unique, password varchar not null, firstName varchar not null, lastName varchar not null, university varchar not null, primary key (id)); Until recently my username was just only a username but I changed it to be the email address instead since many users want to login with that instead. I have a header that I include on all my pages which got a link to the users profile like this: <a href="/project/users/<%= request.getUserPrincipal().getName()%>" class="navbar-link"><strong><%= request.getUserPrincipal().getName()%></strong></a> The problem is that <%= request.getUserPrincipal().getName()%> returns the email now, I don't want to link the user's with thier emails. Instead I want to use the id every user have to link to the profile. How do I reach the users id's from every page? I have been thinking of two solutions but I'm not sure: Change the principal to contain the id as well, don't know how to do this and having problem finding good information on the topic. Add a model attribute to all my controllers that contain the whole user but this would be really ugly, like this. • Problem using a public key when connecting to a SSH server running on Cygwin

  We have installed Cygwin on a Windows Server 2008 Standard server and it working pretty well. Unfortunately we still have a big problem. We want to connect using a public key through SSH which doesn't work. It always falls back to using password login. We have appended our public key to ~/.ssh/authorized_keys on the server and we have our private and public key in ~/.ssh/id_dsa respective ~/.ssh/id_dsa.pub on the client. When debugging the SSH login session we see that the key is offered by the server apparently rejects it by some unknown reason.
