CustomerObj.Prop2 = ... CustomerObj.Prop3 = ... CustomerRepo.Update(CustomerObj); This works perfectly well when I am updating just to the specific table called Customer. Now if I need to also update each row of another table which is a child of Customer called Orders what changes do I need to make to the class MyRepository. Orders table will have multiple records for a Customer record and multiple fields too, say for example Field1, Field2, Field3. So my questions are: 1.) If I only need to update Field1 of the Orders table for some rows based on a condition and Field2 for some other rows based on a different condition then what changes I need to do? 2.) If there is no such condition and all child rows need to be updated with the same value for all rows then what changes do I need to do? Thanks for taking the time. Look forward to your inputs...

    I try to learn how to type fast and have managed to learn a lot. I am quite good at typing english text now. I do a lot of programmation though and if QWERTY seems fitted for english text, it doesn't seem fitted to type Ruby, Python, Javascript, Command Line or C++... I have read plenty of articles and if I respect their guidelines/tips, I am using a lot my right pinky specially to type []{}|\;:'"/?=+ enter delete. As you can see this symbols are the ones which are the most used when you are programming and we are using only one weak finger to reach them. Am I learning wrong? Is there is a way to be more productive? (I don't really want to switch to DVORAK) Have you some experiences/tips to share regarding this issue?     I'm just wondering if there is an easy way to find out what pages Google has indexed, that are not directly linked on my site, for example: www.mysite.com/skype.html originally had a link in my site menu, but this link was removed. The page is still available when the url is typed directly, but there is no direct link to it. I don't want Google indexing this page any more and want to put a 'disallow' in my robots.txt.

    In my previous post, I introduced my problem, but I didn’t explain the problem with Entity Framework When you try the solution indicated you will take the following error: LINQ to Entities don’t recognize the method 'System.String Join(System.String, System.Collections.Generic.IEnumerable`1[System.String])’ of the method, and this method can’t be translated into a stored expression. The query that produces that error was: 1: var consulta = (from TCabecera cab in 2: contexto_local.TCabecera 3: let Detalle = (from TDetalle detalle 4: in cab.TDetalle 5: select detalle.Nombre) 6: let Nombres = string.Join(",",Detalle ) 7: select new 8: { 9: cab.Campo1, 10: cab.Campo2, 11: Nombres 12: }).ToList(); 13: grid.DataSource=consulta;   Why is this error happening? This error happens when the query couldn’t be translated into T-SQL. Solutions?
