  • F#'s fshtmldoc.exe using Mono/OS X

    This is doubtless something obvious, but downloading the F# PowerPack from codeplex and running fshtmldoc produces this error: clements$ mono ./fshtmldoc.exe FSharp.PowerPack.dll Processing 'FSharp.PowerPack.dll'... Unexpected failure while writing HTML docs: An exception was thrown by the type initializer for Microsoft.FSharp.Metadata.AssemblyLoader This is using mono 2.6.3, F# 2.0 1.9.9.9, & OS X 10.6.3 on a 32-bit intel processor.     Link to menu: Professional dropdown #2 I was wondering if these posts Suckerfish meets jQuery or Son of Suckerfish dropdowns in jQuery could optimize the menu above. I need the menu to be optimized for IE6, because when I use the menu as it is, the menu hangs after I click on a menu item that loads a page with heavy processing. It takes too long for the menu to be enabled again. Any ideas?

  • Why is TortoiseSVN so slow?

    I'm using TortoiseSVN to connect to my Subversion repository hosted with CVSDude. It's unreasonably slow--especially on small transfers... 5 kBytes transferred in 5 minute(s) and 9 second(s)?! It's not just slow to respond, though. It bogs the computer down for 5 minutes while processing those 5 kilobytes. Could there possibly be anything wrong with my installation or settings? Or, is the blame purely with my Subversion host, CVSDude?

  • Does it make sense to have more than one UDP Datagram socket on standby? Are simultaneous packets dr

    I'm coding a networking application on Android. I'm thinking of having a single UDP port and Datagram socket that receives all the datagrams that are sent to it and then have different processing queues for these messages. I'm doubting if I should have a second or third UDP socket on standby. Some messages will be very short (100bytes or so), but others will have to transfer files. My concern is, will the Android kernel drop the small messages if it's too busy handling the bigger ones?

  • Using AWT components inside a JInnerFrame (for JDesktopPane)

    Hello, is there a way to hack bugs related to adding an AWT component (in my case a PApplet, so a processing language sketch) inside a JInternalFrame? It works but not as intended, since it flickers and dragging the frame causes repaint issues.. reading around it seems that, althrough it's possible to mix heavyweight (AWT) and lightweight (Swing) components some problems seem to be unavoidable.. is it true?     Hi, I have a list/array and need to process certain elements, but also need the index of the element in the processing. Example: List Names = john, mary, john, bob, simon Names.Where(s = s != "mary").Foreach(MyObject.setInfo(s.index, "blah") But cannot use the "index" property with lists, inversely if the names were in an Array I cannot use Foreach... Any suggestions?

  • How can I adjust the CommandTImeout in DbFit for long running queries?

    Is there any way to increase the CommandTimeout for DbFit queries? I have a long running stored procedure that times out when running it in a DbFit Test. It's possible for the procedure to run for a really long time (processing millions of records) and would like to have DbFit wait until it's completed, even if it takes several minutes. We are using the latest version of FitSharp (downloaded it yesterday) and use the version of DbFit that is included with FitSharp.

    I just setup a subdomain with the following RewriteCond: RewriteCond $1 !^search.php$ RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f RewriteRule ^/?([^/]+)$ search.php?q=$1 [L,NS] I'm using the same rewrite condition on my main domain and it works perfectly. However, when I set it up on the subdomain, it simply outputs "index.php" when going to http://sub.domain.com Every page on the subdomain outputs the page name in the body instead of processing the code, except for the search page, which appears to be working correctly. What can I do to correct this issue?

[another one] What is the regular expression to extract the words within either square or curly brackets, ie. {is} [sample] [some] {special} [another one] Note: In my use case, brackets cannot be nested. I would also like to keep the enclosing characters, so that I can tell the difference between them when processing the results.

    Hello What are sources of latency in process of sending/receiving tcp/udp packets in linux 2.6 ? I want to know a latency sources in "ping-pong" latency tests. There are some rather good papers of ethernet latency, but they cover only latency sources in the wire and switch (and rather cursory, only for specific switch). What steps of processing does follow a packet? Papers with deep latency analysis of usual ping (icmp) will be useful too. I rely on community :)

  • 2 IE8 behave differently
