  • YouTube .Net API - Not getting correct View Counts

    I've managed to plug away through the YouTube documentation, and have managed to successfully implement the majority of what I want to work. My question is, I get the video View count and it comes back lower than the actual video on YouTube. It was fine this morning and both showed correctly, but now my version is out by 4 views. Does anyone have any experience with this? Or can tell me if they update the values every 5/10/15/24 hours?

I want to change the CSS style for the map type selection buttons (which are actually DIVs that don't have a CSS class). The links in the referenced question show how to subclass controls, but the examples don't seem to work for GMapTypeControl. Tried the following function CustomGMapTypeControl() {} CustomGMapTypeControl.prototype = new GMapTypeControl() CustomGMapTypeControl.prototype.setButtonStyle_ = function(button) { button.style.backgroundColor = "red"; } but the setButtonStyle_ function doesn't even get called. Any solutions for this?

  • Resizing Ubuntu x64 Server Partition with VirtualBox not reflected in OS

    I've already resized my virtual disk with VirtualBox, but now need to extend the partition of my Ubuntu VM itself. I thought I was on my way with GParted live CD, but after I resize the "extended" filesystem partition, and then the child "lvm2 pv" filesystem partition to fill the unallocated space, df -h still shows the original disk size after I reboot into the VM. Any tips on this? I've scoured the webs tirelessly. Should I be resizing the boot (/dev/sda1) partition instead? Should I try to convert my lvm2 to ext4 or something? I'm lost on this. Note: VirtualBox hard disk is "dynamic". Specs: VBox 4.2.18 Ubuntu 12.04.2 amd64 Gparted 0.16.2-1b-i486

    I have a development setup from this tutorial: http://www.sitepoint.com/blogs/2009/10/27/build-your-own-dev-server-with-virtualbox/ But what I can't figure out is how to share a folder on my Ubuntu virtualized machine with the host Win7. I want to use a Windows text editor to edit code that's on my Ubuntu server. I've tried using the Shared Folders setting, adding "/var/www" but it says that the path is not absolute. When I click on "other", it only allows me to browse folders on my Win7 host. Both the host and guest are 64-bit OS. Thanks in advance!

    Hello. I'd like to know if it's possible to know if an external application has an window that is showing up on the taskbar. I have a program that sometimes shows up an error message and it appears on the taskbar. If I "close" the message, it will go invisible, but from what I've seen it still exists. So the only way for me to know if that window is visible and thus "clickable" is to check if it is being shown on the taskbar or not. How can I do this? Thanks

    On Windows, no matter which framework you use, all the frameworks need, ultimately, to call the user mode user32::CreateWindowEx API to actually create a window on the desktop. On Ubuntu, or indeed Linux systems in general, it seems that the choices are to use a widget framework like Wx or Qt or GTK+ to create a GUI application, but all these frameworks feel like they are wrapping something more fundamental. Do these all talk directly to X on Linux? I thought Ubuntu was moving to a non X window manager, so what are they going to use then? What library would I use to access the window manager all these frameworks use?

I'm pushing each of the markers into an array like this: markers.push(marker) And attempting to get the total number of markers like this: $('.marker-count span').html(markers.length); Unfortunately, "markers.length" is returning 0 when it should be returning at least 3. I downloaded Keryx, as suggested here, and managed to download the necessary package and its dependencies. When I attempted to install the packages on Ubuntu using Keryx, Keryx just closed.   • Can I completely convert an Ubuntu desktop installation to a server one? (not just the packages)

    I am aware that the server and desktop editions only differ by the packages installed, and I can install server packages (LAMP etc.) into a desktop edition and get the same thing. However, I want to be able to completely change my desktop installation into a server edition. e.g: when I type uname -a or lsb_release -a it is supposed to say Ubuntu server or something. I currently have an 11.10 desktop installation with LAMP stack installed and the info displayed by apache is "Apache blah blah, on (Ubuntu) server. Where does apache get this information that I am using an Ubuntu desktop installation and not a server one? Is there a config file(s) to edit?

    I have an app which posts a message like this to a user's Facebook timeline: This is working fine, but if I post a few times, my posts get grouped on my news feed, and I get this: What settings should I use to control the way this news report appears? Instead of 'All about periods' and the page link in the box at the top, I'd like 'Body iQ Quiz' and the app description. Where would I set these values? And is it possible to make the grouped report say 'Jay cee Effex shared a link via Body iQ Quiz', the way the original post does?   • Set up two IP addresses with one gateway?

    I would like to ask if it is possible to set up two static IPs from same subnet through one gateway? and How if it is? What I am interested in is described here Routing for multiple uplinks/providers, but in my case I have two IP addresses from one provider, both are on same subnet and off course I have internet access on both. I have two NICs, but I don't mind to go with one if that makes it possible. Any thought is appreciated!
