    I'm trying the following request to access the bucket by using curl, via the public API: curl -X POST -H 'Content-Type: image/jpeg' -d @xxx.jpeg 'https://www.googleapis.com/upload/storage/v1/b/clips.eyecam.com/o?uploadType=media&name=x.jpeg&key=XXX' With XXX being the generated key in the Public API. However I'm getting an authorization failure: { "error": { "errors": [ { "domain": "global", "reason": "required", "message": "Login Required", "locationType": "header", "location": "Authorization" } ], "code": 401, "message": "Login Required" } } Seems the request is incorrect and does not pass the authorization key, any idea what would be the right form of the request?

    Hello, In my iPhone application, I need to calculate the time difference between the time a message was created on the server, and the time my phone received it. The server (Java) puts in a number returned by System.currentTimeMillis() as metadata along with the message. How do I compare this number with the current time on the device? Could not find a suitable NSDate method to do this comparison. Thanks in advance!

  • Marionette js itemview not defined: then on browser refresh it is defined and all works well - race condition?

    Yeah it's just the initial browser load or two after a cache clear. Subsequent refreshes clear the problem up. I'm thinking the item views just aren't fully constructed in time to be used in the collection views on the first load. But then they are on a refresh? Don't know. There must be something about the code sequence or loading or the load time itself. Not sure. I'm loading via require.js. Have two collections - users and messages. Each renders in its own list view. Each works, just not the first time or two the browser loads. The first time you load after clearing browser cache the console reports, for instance: "Uncaught ReferenceError: MessageItemView is not defined" A simple browser refresh clears it up. Same goes for the user collection. It's collection view says it doesn't know anything about its item view. But a simple browser refresh and all is well. My views (item and collection) are in separate files. Is that the problem? Wouldn't it be enough to store the exception message in a static const field and then pass it to the exception's constructor, instead of encapsulating the whole exception throw?

  • Is 0x9B (155decimal) a special control character? Why is it missing from ascii tables?

    Hi, I'm working on an embedded system, and i'm having dramas getting it to send a certain chunk of data across the serial port. I narrowed it down and found that if a 0x9B is present in the message, it corrupts the message. So i then look up 0x9b (155) on http://www.asciitable.com/, and it's missing! Isn't that a bizarre coincidence! Any ideas, is this a special character or something?

  • Ajax progress with PHP session

    I have an app that processes images and use jQuery to display progress to the user. I done this with writing to a textfile each time and image is processed and than read this status with a setInterval. Because no images are actually written in the processing (I do it in PHP's memory) I thought a log.txt would be a solution, but I am not sure about all the fopen and fread's. Is this prone to issues? I tried also with PHP sessions, but can't seem to get it to work, I don't get why..
