Can't reach the new zend controller/view

Hi, I've installed Zend Studio 7.1.1 that contains 1.9 framework. For the server side, I use easyphp (very similar to wamp) When I create the project, I obviously obtain this architecture: MyProject |-- application | |-- Bootstrap.php | |-- configs | | `-- application.ini | |-- controllers | | |-- ErrorController.php | | `-- IndexController.php | |-- models | `-- views | |-- helpers | `-- scripts | |-- error | | `-- error.phtml | `-- index | `-- index.phtml |-- library |-- public | |-- .htaccess | `-- index.php `-- tests |-- application | `-- bootstrap.php |-- library | `-- bootstrap.php `-- phpunit.xml To launch the project, I enter: http://127.0.0.1/MonProjet/public/index.php But when I create a new controller (TestController.php) and the associated view (application.views/test/index.phtml) and when I enter: http://127.0.0.1/MonProjet/public/test the browser returns the error : object not found (404). although I activated the mod_rewrite LoadModule rewrite_module modules/mod_rewrite.so So, how can I set the routing mechanism to reach the new controllers and their views? My site not directing links correctly.

I have a site at http://badassmonkeys.com/ and when i click any of the links it does not direct it to the actual page but still pulls up the link. For some reason it works perfectly on linux cpanel and actually loads the pages, but on windows in apache, or in IIS even with a rewrite mod for it, it just doesnt work. The links dont go correctly. Is it a php.ini setting? This is my htaccess file if curious, but it works perfect in linux, but not on windows.... How can match end-of-line multiple times in a regex without interpolation?

Hi, if I have a input with new lines in it like: [INFO] xyz [INFO] How can I pull out the xyz part? I tried a pattern like /^\[INFO\]$(.*?)$\[INFO\]/ms, but perl gives me: Use of uninitialized value $\ in regexp compilation at scripts\t.pl line 6. I've been trying things to get interpolation to stop like using qr// but alas, no love. EDIT: The key is that the end-of-line anchor is a dollar sign but at times it may be necessary to intersperse the end-of-line anchor through the pattern. If the pattern is interpolating then you might get problems such as uninitialized $\. For instance an acceptable solution here is /^\[INFO\]\s*^(.*?)\s*^\[INFO\]/ms but that does not solve the crux of the first problem. I've changed the anchors to be ^ so there is no interpolation going on, and with this input I'm free to do that. But what about when I really do want to reference EOL with $ in my pattern? How do I get the regex to compile?

Email form isn't sending

Hi I have an email form that isn't sending out an email to the recipient or a copy to the client. The form can be found at www.kelcos.co.uk/contact and the files associated with this are: /index.php /jquery.js /sendemail.php /submitform.php /thanks.php /verify.php I have used this form on other websites http://www.bowlesgreen.co.uk/contact/ and http://www.arbortectreecare.co.uk/contact/ and it works fine - the only difference is that these other sites use my usual hosting provider and for the one that won't send I'm working through the clients hosting provider, which I can only presume is what is causing the problem. I have contacted the hosting and so far we have eliminated a few things such as: 'The limitation to our systems is that the emails sent using scripts will be blocked if they are not going to or coming from an email address setup on the web hosting account. - so I am now sending the form to an a kelcos.co.uk address, but still no joy. PHP/ASP was originally disabled, but now has been activated the mail() script is enabled I would really appreciated any advise any of you could offer. Thanks

Powershell 4 compatibility with Windows 2008 r2

In my environment I have a single server that has access to pretty much my entire network. That server is running Windows 2008 r2, and I have upgraded Powershell to version 4.0. The question I have is this... Can I run cmdlets from that machine on other machines that are version 4 specific? For instance, when I am using Powershell, even though it is version 4, it doesn't give me an intellisense autocomplete for "Get-Volume" like it would on a 2012 r2 machine. I understand that it won't run on that machine because the infrastructure won't allow for it, but what about a 2012 r2 machine remotely? I am looking to run batch scripts from there for various purposes.

clear html webpage?

i am currently developing a crawler that crawls all links on the web and displays them in the web browser (and saving it of course). but after some hours there will be a huge list displayed on the web browser and i want to only display lets say 1000 links at the same time. then i clear the html and display another 1000 links. this is also good for the RAM or it will eat up all memory. how do i clear the web browser screen? EDIT: i have seen some scripts using some flush buffer functions. has this anything to do with my case?

Open Python shell through SSH

I'm using this tool to set up a ssh server on Windows. I'm trying to open the standard Python shell through a remote ssh connection but I simply can't get it to work. If I type 'python' in my ssh command line nothing happens, it just seems to wait for more input. My server machine however, shows a new python process running after I do this. Running scripts works fine, though. Do I need to use another Python shell, some other ssh server, some different configs? Thanks

Or will the iframe request get processed concurrently while rest of the document is downloaded and rendered?

Is it possible to nest folders in the Flash Builder bin-debug

I'm trying to setup my bin-debug folder so that the structure looks like this: bin-debug assets img swf main.swf css style.css js swfobject.js index.html I've tried setting the project's output folder to: bin-debug/assets/swf which does get my main.swf where I want it, but then my other source folders get dumped into that swf folder as well. What I would really like is to tell Flash Builder to put my swf into a nested folder and to be able to specify where my build folders' output goes as well. Is this at all possible without resorting to ANT scripts?

Does the Frontier Kernel have a future?

Whatever you think about Dave Winer, Frontier is an incredible piece of software. It includes quite a few advances that have yet to be surpassed: the object database, the database viewer, the scripting environment, the hierarchical-including website generation scheme, the elegant scripting language, the mixing of scripts and compilation, rapid prototyping, built in web server, simple debugger, cross-platform, simple UI, etc. My question: Dave turned Frontier over to open source and there is a Frontier Kernel project. However it is fairly quiet. Does Frontier have a future from here?

Python namespace in between builtins and global?

Hello, As I understand it python has the following outermost namespaces: Builtin - This namespace is global across the entire interpreter and all scripts running within an interpreter instance. Globals - This namespace is global across a module, ie across a single file. I am looking for a namespace in between these two, where I can share a few variables declared within the main script to modules called by it. For example, script.py: import Log from Log import foo from foo log = Log() foo() foo.py: def foo(): log.Log('test') # I want this to refer to the callers log object I want to be able to call script.py multiple times and in each case, expose the module level log object to the foo method. Any ideas if this is possible? It won't be too painful to pass down the log object, but I am working with a large chunk of code that has been ported from Javascript. I also understand that this places constraints on the caller of foo to expose its log object. Thanks, Paul

Mapping a drop-down menu over an image

I have a menu bar that is rotated slightly. Here are two buttons as an example: As a result, I can't use regular HTML to handle this. I need to use a <map> to put hyperlinks over the menu parts. (Or am I missing a killer CSS feature I don't know about?) I want to map drop-down menus to these buttons. This looks like a nice way to implement drop-down menus: http://javascript-array.com/scripts/simple_drop_down_menu/ However, this does not work on <map>s, I believe. Or am I wrong? Is there a different approach I can take to constructing drop-down menus for a menu bar that is not aligned horizontally?

msbuild for .NET 3.5 issue with csla and System.Linq

This is a weird problem. I am trying to build a .NET 3.5 solution with msbuild. I generally write custom build scripts for this, and when I tried this time to build a simple .NET assembly which internally uses CSLA, it started giving me Linq errors. However, if I build the proj file via msbuild (command line), it seems to build just fine. No issues at all. Anyone else encounter this issue...and if yes, how do i fix this? Thanks, Sashidhar Kokku

GUI Control For Audio Presentation

I need GUI control for audio file presentation. The language is not very important but it should run on windows platform. I should be able to :- load the file play the sound put and move markers across the audio bar. it would be nice if it can load itself from RTP wireshark captures (and not wav files). An example may be seen in audacity (may be someone even had an experience extracting it from there). Writing nyquist scripts in audacity is not a good option because I have to operate on RTP captures and not on raw sound samples. Another example of such control is wireshark RTP analyzer. Any advise?

How can I specify my own Rhino context in Java?

I'm trying to ensure that my Rhino scripts (running under Java 6) are strict so that if a script developer misspells an expression I want an exception to be thrown. Currently what happens is the expression simply evaluates to "undefined". Now according to Mozilla org https://developer.mozilla.org/en/New_in_Rhino_1.6R6 there are features to enable strict checking in the context. I cannot find a working example of this. What I did so far was write a class to extend ContextFactory and then override the hasFeature method. public class ScriptContextFactory extends ContextFactory { protected boolean hasFeature(Context context, int featureIndex) { switch (featureIndex) { case Context.FEATURE_STRICT_EVAL: return true; case Context.FEATURE_STRICT_VARS: return true; } return super.hasFeature(context, featureIndex); } } Then in the Main I set mine to the default. ContextFactory.initGlobal(new ScriptContextFactory()); and I get an illegal state exception. :( Any ideas or samples on how this works? TIA

Our current app runs in a single JVM. We are now splitting up the app into separate logical services where each service runs in its own JVM. The split is being done to allow a single service to be modified and deployed without impacting the entire system. This reduces the need to QA the entire system - just need to QA the interaction with the service being changed. For inter service communication we use a combination of REST, an MQ system bus, and database views. What I don't like about this: REST means we have to marshal data to/from XML DB views couple the systems together which defeats the whole concept of separate services MQ / system bus is added complexity There is inevitably some code duplication between services You have set up n JBoss server configurations, we have to do n number of deployments, n number of set up scripts, etc, etc. Is there a better way to structure an internal application to allow modular development and deployment while allowing the app to run in a single JVM (and achieving the associated benefits)?

Separation of static and dynamic content in Java EE applications

We work with IBM products and we typically use IBM Http Servers (read Apache) as a reverse proxy for our application servers. For performance reasons we serve static content (.gif, .jpg, .css, .html etc.) from our http servers, to ease the burden a bit from the application server. So far, we have to distribute files to http server and configure it manually (writing custom scripts at best.) The problem is the effort needed to keep everything in synch, especially when you need to update the app. Does any Java EE product support this “out of the box”? Is there a way to have application server do this automatically, like in cluster configuration for example, where master node is in charge of distributing the application to other nodes and for keeping everything in synch.

SSIS - Can I get the column schema for a flat file source from a database?

We receive a nightly data export from a vendor in the form of about 10 tab-delimited flat file without column headers. In addition, the vendor provides us with the SQL scripts for the database tables so that we can import the files into our system. Unfortunately, the vendor recently changed the schema for the flat files. Each file has upwards 150 columns, and having to go through the DB schema and adjust column types on a Flat File Data Source in SSIS is extremely time consuming, not to mention a royal pain. Since I know the file data layout in the database schema, is there any way I can dynamically pull that into a Flat File source to set the columns correctly? Or am I just stuck with manually setting everything?

Is it possible to auto include single test files into a test group by subidr? Is it possible to enumerate the files that should be included in the test group? Can I cascade (include other watir test groups in a watir test group)?

SQL Server 2005 drop column with constraints

Hi ! In Sql Server 2005 I have a column with a "DEFAULT" constraint. I'd like to create a script that drops that column. The problem is that is returns me that error : Msg 5074, Level 16, State 1, Line 1 The object 'DF__PeriodSce__IsClo__4BCC3ABA' is dependent on column 'IsClosed'. Msg 4922, Level 16, State 9, Line 1 ALTER TABLE DROP COLUMN IsClosed failed because one or more objects access this column. I couldn't find an easy way to drop a column and all its associated constraints (only found big scripts that look into system table... there MUST (!!) be a "nice" way to do that !). And as the DEFAULT constraint's name has been randomly generated, I can't drop it by name. Thanks for your help.

MSBuild Starter Kits - i.e. Copy and just start modding...

Hi guys Just wondering if anyone knows if there are any MSBuild starter kits out there. What I mean by starter kits is that from the looks of it most builds to kinda the same sort of steps with minor changes here and there (i.e. most builds would run test, coverage, zip up the results, produce a report, deploy etc). Also what most people in general want from a CI build, test build, release build is mostly the same with minor changes here and there. Now don't get me wrong i think that most scripts are fairly different in the end. But I can't help but think that most start out life being fairly similar. Hence does anyone know of any "starter kits" that have like a dev/CI/test/release build with the common tasks that most people would want that you can just start changing and modifying? The code here basically receives the echo from the PHP and then puts it in element id games. My question is, if I wanted to have AJAX send 3 different http requests to 3 different PHP scripts and if I wanted to retrieve data from each one and then put it in 3 different element id's then would I make 3 copies of this same function? I would imagine that there should be a more efficient way. Thanks!

jQuery/Ajax/javascript in FireFox Error when using $.post/$.get

This only happens in firefox (and maybe other browsers) but the code works fine in IE8. I have codes like this in jquery: $("#Logout").live("click", function (e) { e.preventDefault(e); $.post("/logout.php", {}, function () { //--a bunch of animations--// window.location = "/login.php"; } }); I have no idea whats wrong as even the error message is not helpful at all.. inside logout.php: <?php session_start(); session_destroy(); ?> Also dont work if I used GET or inserted phantom data. Or is there a more elegant way to do this?
