  • DataSet XML export is empty

    I've got in-memory dataset with couple of tables that is populated in code. Data-bound grids on the gui show table contents without a problem. Then I try to export the dataset into XML: ds.WriteXml(fdSave.FileName, XmlWriteMode.WriteSchema); and get empty XML (with couple of lines regarding dataset names but without any tables) If I export table directly I've got all the data but dataset name is obviously wrong: ds.Fields.WriteXml(fdSave.FileName, XmlWriteMode.WriteSchema); What am I missing? Is there any reasonable way to write the whole dataset into file?

For this my idea is while populating the treeview, copy the node names into a list and there see if the node already exits. If it already exits, go to the next node else display it.   • Jython project in Eclipse can't find the xml module, but works in an identical project

    I have two projects in Eclipse with Java and Python code, using Jython. Also I'm using PyDev. One project can import and use the xml module just fine, and the other gives the error ImportError: No module named xml. As far as I can tell, all the project properties are set identically. The working project was created from scratch and the other comes from code checked out of an svn repository and put into a new project. What could be the difference? edit- Same for os, btw. It's just missing some path somewhere...

It does work if the span is hard coded into the page for example: <span title="text to populate" class="type">test</span> I'm guessing that the XML is not getting loaded into the DOM in the right way (or something like that) Any Ideas?

    Using TDom, I would like to cycle through a list of objects in the following format: <object> <type>Hardware</type> <name>System Name</name> <description>Basic Description of System.</description> <attributes> <vendor>Dell</vendor> <contract>MM/DD/YY</contract> <supportExpiration>MM/DD/YY</supportExpiration> <location>Building 123</location> <serial>xxx-xxx-xxxx</serial> <mac>some-mac-address</mac> </attributes> </object> <object> <type>Software</type> <name>Second Object</name> ... Then I use TDom to make a list of objects: set dom [dom parse $xml] set doc [$dom documentElement] set nodeList [$doc selectNodes /systems/object] So far I've done this to (theoretically) select every "Object" node from the list. How can I loop through them? Is it just: foreach node $nodeList { For each object, I need to retrieve the association of each attribute. From the example, I need to remember that the "name" is "System Name", "vendor" is "Dell", etc. I'm new to TCL but in other languages I would use an object or an associative list to store these. Is this possible? Can you show me an example of the syntax to select an attribute in this manner?

    I am working on a WCF rest interface using json. I have wrapped the service in a windows service to host the service but I am now having trouble getting the service to be callable. I am not sure exactly what is wrong. The basic idea is that I want to host the service on a remote server so I want the service mapped to port localhost:7600 so that it can be invoked by posting data to [server_ip]:7600. The problem is most likely in the configuration file, since I am new to WCF and Rest I wasn't really sure what to type for the configuration so sorry if it's a total mess. I get the attributes with the startElement handler, but the size of the attribute list for scxml is zero. Why? How I can overcome that problem?     I'm working on the code below to allow HTTP user agents that cannot perform XSL transformations to view the resources on my server. I'm mystified because the result of transformToXML is false, but the result of libxml_get_errors() is an empty array. As you can see, the code outputs the LibXSLT version ID and I'm getting the problem on WinVista with version 1.1.24. Is libxml_get_errors() not the right function to get the errors from the XSLTProcessor object?   • How can I add my desired links to be read using PHP Universal FeedParser

    Hello, I have been trying to use the PHP Universal FeedParser to read RSS feeds and display the output on my site. Problem is I am VERY green with this and although it seems very simple. the only link that is working is the link provided in the sample. When I try to add another address with the xml or rss.php extensions, I keep getting errors,the page is loading blank,or the designated area for the feeds is blank. In addition to this, how can I add multiple links to feeds in a syntactically correct manor and how can I limit the amount of feeds?     Hello, I have a JAXB class generation problem I was hoping to get some help with. Here's the part of the XML that is the source of my problem... However, when I unmarshall the actual XML data into the generated classes the data in the wrapper class is not populated - yet JAXB does not throw an exception. My question is: Do I need to change the schema a different way to make this work? Or is there something I can add/change/delete to the generated code or annotations?   • Where can I find a list of all possible messages that an XmlException can contain?

    I'm writing an XML code editor and I want to display syntax errors in the user interface. Because my code editor is strongly constrained to a particular problem domain and audience, I want to rewrite certain XMLException messages to be more meaningful for users. For instance, an exception message like this: '"' is an unexpected token. The expected token is '='. Line 30, position 35 .. is very technical and not very informative to my audience. Instead, I'd like to rewrite it and other messages to something else. For completeness' sake that means I need to build up a dictionary of existing messages mapped to the new message I would like to display instead. To accomplish that I'm going to need a list of all possible messages XMLException can contain. Is there such a list somewhere? Or can I find out the possible messages through inspection of objects in C#? Edit: specifically, I am using XmlDocument.LoadXml to parse a string into an XmlDocument, and that method throws an XmlException when there are syntax errors. So specifically, my question is where I can find a list of messages applied to XmlException by XmlDocument.LoadXml. The discussion about there potentially being a limitless variation of actual strings in the Message property of XmlException is moot.
