  • Configuring correct port for Oozie (invoking PIG script) in Cloudera Hue

    I am new to CDH4 Oozie workflow editor. While trying to invoke a pig script from Oozie workflow editor, i am getting the following error. HadoopAccessorException: E0900: Jobtracker [mymachine:8032] not allowed, not in Oozies whitelist It looks like Oozie is submitting the job to Yarn port (8032). I want it to submit to 8021 (MR jobtracker) port. Can someone help me in identify where to set the job tracker URL or port so that oozie picks up the correct one (using Hue or Cloudera manager). Previously I tried the following but none of them helped Modfied workflow.xml file /user/hue/oozie/workspaces/../workflow.xml file. However it gets overwritten when I submit the job from workflow editor. In cloudera Manager -- oozie -- configuration --Oozie Server (advanced) -- Oozie Server Configuration Safety Valve for oozie-site.xml property I set the following- <property> <name>oozie.service.HadoopAccessorService.nameNode.whitelist</name> <value>mymachine:8020</value> oozie.service.HadoopAccessorService.jobTracker.whitelist mymachine:8021 and restarted the oozie service. 3. Tried to override 'jobTracker' property while configuring the pig task. This appears as follows in the workflow file however it doesn't take effect (or doesn't override) and still uses 8032 port. <global> <configuration> <property> <name>jobTracker</name> <value>mymachine:8021</value> </property> </configuration> </global> I am using CDH4 version.     hello I had a working application, which uses a jquery ui dialog. I wanted to make the dialog draggable. As far as I know the only thing needed is the jquery.ui.draggable.js script.     reading around the various ruby install tutorials it's required to change path from /usr/bin/ruby to /usr/local/bin/ruby but i cant seem to be able to do it.   • MSBuild Script and VS2010 publish apply Web.config Transform

    So, I have VS 2010 installed and am in the process of modifying my MSBuild script for our TeamCity build integration. Everything is working great with one exception. How can I tell MSBuild that I want to apply the Web.conifg transform files that I've created when I publish the build... I have the following which produces the compiled web site but, it outputs a Web.config, Web.Debug.config and, Web.Release.config files (All 3) to the compiled output directory.   • Change Default Scrolling Behavior of UITableView Section Header

    I have a UITableView with two sections. It is a simple table view. I am using viewForHeaderInSection to create custom views for these headers. So far, so good. The default scrolling behavior is that when a section is encountered, the section header stays anchored below the Nav bar, until the next section scrolls into view. My question is this: can I change the default behavior so that the section headers do NOT stay anchored at the top, but rather, scroll under the nav bar with the rest of the section rows? Am I missing something obvious? Thanks.

    Hi guys, In my Django application I would like the user to be able to change the email address. I've seen solution of StackOverflow pointing people to django-profiles. Unfortunately I don't want to use a full fledged profile module to accomplish a tiny feat of changing the users email. Has anyone seen this implemented anywhere. The email address verification procedure by sending a confirmation email is a requisite in this scenario. I've spent a great a deal of time trying to a find a solution that works but to no avail.   • Change/check minimum iPhone OS for Universal apps?

    The dropdown in XCode shows a base SDK of 3.2, but my iPod Touch (2nd generation), running OS 3.1.3, will run the app just fine in debug mode. (Command + Return/Enter) What is the actual base SDK of my iPhone/iPod touch version of the app and how can I change this? Changing it by right clicking on the project name in the "Groups and Files" pane and changing "Base SDK" under the "Build", doesn't do much. Edit: While writing this question, I found that scrolling down in "Build" and changing "iPhone OS Deployment Target" seems to be what I'm looking for, I'm posting this anyway. Perhaps someone has more insight into this...

    I'm getting used to the new IDE (it's vc# express), but the first contact is somewhat confusing. When I open the Add Reference dialog and switch to the .NET tab, a label above the assembly list states: "Filtered to:.NET Framework 4". And it's true - I can reference .NET 4.0 assemblies only plus things like XNA 3.1. However I can't see older assemblies i.e. Managed DirectX libs, which are obviously installed on my computer as there was no trouble with adding a ref to them in vc#08. What is this? How to change the filter? The label is read-only. These sound like dull guy's questions, but I'm out of lack of finding an answer and there is no intuitive solution. Thanks in advance.

    Hi, Is there a way to change background color for UIWebView? None of the colors set in IB effect UIWebView behavior: before acctual content is loaded it shows as up as white (causing a white flash between the moment it is loaded and content is rendered). Setting background color programmatically does not do anything either.   • jqGrid: how to change cell padding

    Hi, I'm using jqGrid3.6.5 on google hosted jQueryUI1.8.2 and jQuery1.4.2 I want to change the cell padding of a jqGrid. For testing purposes I want to set it to 10px all around each cell. The only option I've come across while googling is the following: add padding with CSS. eg. #grid-id td{ padding:10px; } set cellLayout option to 21 (paddingleft + paddingright + borderleft) When I have no set width on any of the columns in my colModel, this works like expected. Though when I resize one of the headers, or set a column width in the colModel, headers and cells aren't aligned anymore. Anyone know how to fix this or know an alternative way to alter cell padding?

Now I can access it through my browser using the following url: http://localhost:8080/MyDynamicWebApp Now I want to change the access url to http://localhost:8080/app I changed the context root from the project properties | Web Project Settings | Context Root But it is not working. The web app still has the access url as earlier. I have re-deployed the application on tomcat, re-started the tomcat and have done everything that should be done but the access url is the same as earlier. I found that there were no server.xml file attached with the WARfile. The how the tomcat is determining that the context root of my web app is /MyDynamicWebApp and is allowing me to access the application through that url

  • QTableWidget signal cellChanged(): distinguish between user input and change by routines

    i am using PyQt but my question is a general Qt one: I have a QTableWidget that is set up by the function updateTable. It writes the data from DATASET to the table when it is called. Unfortunately this causes my QTableWidget to emit the signal cellChanged() for every cell. The signal cellChanged() is connected to a function on_tableWidget_cellChanged that reads the contents of the changed cell and writes it back to DATASET. This is necessary to allow the user to change the data manually. So everytime the table is updated, its contents are written back to DATASET. Is there a way to distinguish if the cell was changed by the user or by updateTable? i thought of disconnecting on_tableWidget_cellChanged by updateTable temporarily but that seems to be a little dirty.

While executing script I am getting an error message saying "Error sending mail: Connection error from mail.utiba.com on port 465 ()". However the connection to the mail server is working fine, I can connect to the mail server using other mail clients. Please suggest what I am doing wrong here.     Chrome supports the placeholder attribute on input[type=text] elements (others probably do too). But the following CSS doesn't do diddly squat: <style> input[placeholder], [placeholder], *[placeholder] { color:red !important; } </style> <input type="text" placeholder="Value" /> "Value" will still be grey (er, gray. whatever) instead of red. Is there are way to change the color of the placeholder text? p.s. I'm already using the jQuery placeholder plugin for the browsers that don't support the placeholder attribute natively.

  • Writing an efficient cron job script utilizing Zend_Mail_Storage_Imap.

    I'm new to the IMAP protocol and Zend_Mail_Storage and I'm writing a small php script for a cron job that should regularly poll an IMAP account and check for new messages, and send an e-mail if new messages have arrived. As you can imagine, I want to only poll the IMAP account for relevant messages, and I only want to send a new e-mail if new messages have arrived since the last polled new message. So I thought of keeping track of the last message I polled with some unique identifier for a message. But I'm a bit uncertain about whether the methods I want to utilize for this do what I expect them to do though. So my questions are: Does the iterator position of Zend_Mail_Storage_Imap actually resemble some IMAP unique identifier for messages, or is it simply only and internal position of Zend_Mail_Storage_Abstract? For instance, if I tell it to seek() to message 5 (which I stored from an earlier session) will it indeed seek to the appropriate message on the IMAP server, even if for instance messages have been deleted since last session? Would keeping track of this latest polled message id in a file suffice for a cron job that, say, polls the account every 5 or 10 minutes? Or is this too naive, and should I be using a database for instance. Or is there maybe a much easier way to keep track of such state with Zend_Mail_Storage_Abstract? Also, do I need to poll every IMAP folder? Or is everything accumulated when I poll INBOX? If you could shed some light on any of these matters, I'ld appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

  • Animating a CALayer's mask size change

    I have a UIView subclass which uses a CAShapeLayer mask on its CALayer. The mask uses a distinct shape, with three rounded corners and a cut out rectangle in the remaining corner. When I resize my UIView using a standard animation block, the UIView itself and its CALayer resize just fine. The mask, however, is applied instantly, which leads to some drawing issues. I've tried animating the mask's resizing using a CABasicAnimation but didn't have any luck getting the resizing animated. Can I somehow achieve an animated resizing effect on the mask? Do I need to get rid of the mask, or will I have to change something about the way I currently draw the mask (using - (void)drawInContext:(CGContextRef)ctx). Cheers, Alex

    I get the following error when I try to upload the application on iTunes Connect: "Binary file names cannot contain a space. Please rename your binary file and try again." If I try to Validate the Application in XCode, I get: "My Application.ipa: filename may not contain whitespace" So I guess I have to find a way to rename this .ipa file. I don't want to change my product name which has to stay "My Application". How can I do that? Thanks!
