  • Injected EJB sometimes Null

    I'm using a stateless EJB via the @EJB annotation... most of the time everything works as it should but it seems that from time to time what is supposed to be injected resolves to a NULL causing a null pointer exception. What could cause this intermittent problem?

    hello I am trying to use oprofile to generate call graph. Compiler is g++, platform is linux x86-64, linker is gfortran C++ code is compiled with -fno- omit-frame-pointer. oprofile is started with --callgraph=25. report I run with --callgraph. the call graph is produced but it's only includes self time, which is not much use what am I missing?

  • dynamically bound elements don't subscribe to CSS rules

    I'm using ajax to dynamically populate a menu. The problem is the dynamically created elements do not follow the CSS rules, although they're created with the right classname. This is surprising.   • Cocoa equivalent of diskEvt/kEventClassVolume?

    We have a drop-down menu of volumes in our UI, and I'd like to update it when a new disk is mounted. In the Classic days, this would involve watching for a diskEvt event. In Carbon, I think this was kEventClassVolume. What's the Cocoa equivalent? (A pointer into Apple's documentation on this would satisfy the question. I've been unable to find anything!)

    I have created a table with draggable rows. Unfortunately, most of the rows are covered with a large textbox input element. In order to drag the rows, you have to grab the row on the very edge just outside of the textbox. Is there a way to allow the rows to be grabbed through the textboxes without destroying the textbox functionality? (i.e. relay the mouse drag event, but not the mouseclick event?)

    Users drag rows up and down in my DataGridView. I have the dragging logic down-pat, but I'd like there to be a dark marker indicating where the row will be placed after I let go of the mouse. (I've seen this in 1000 places before, but can't seem to find an example right now) Does anyone know how I'd go about doing this? Is this built-in, or would I have to draw my own marker (if so, how do I do that)? Thanks!

    I'm using a low level native API where I send an unsafe byte buffer pointer to get a c-string value. So it gives me // using byte[255] c_str string s = new string(Encoding.ASCII.GetChars(c_str)); // now s == "heresastring\0\0\0\0\0\0\0\0\0\0\0\0\0\0\0(etc)"; So obviously I'm not doing it right, how I get rid of the excess?

    Say have this piece of code: var marker = new google.maps.Marker({ position: location, title: 'B&#250;fals', map: map }); This creates a marker as expected but if I hover the mouse over it I don’t see 'Búfals' as I would expect (instead I see the html code).     Hi all, Trying to build the OCaml Win32 API binaries for OCaml 3.11.0 on Win 7 and I consistently get a message when I try nmake dynamic: 'cannot open input file "ocamlrun.lib"'. My google skills seem to be failing me--is there something I need to do to get this .lib file? It doesn't seem to be part of the libraries which are included in the OCaml binary distribution for Windows. Can anyone give me a pointer in the right direction?
