    I am doing something like this in javascript to print a section of my page on click of a link function printDiv() { var divToPrint = document.getElementById('printArea'); newWin= window.open(); newWin.document.write(divToPrint.innerHTML); newWin.print(); newWin.close(); } It works great in Firefox but not in IE. Could someone please help

  • Who owns a php exec tar extracted file?

    As far as file permissions are concerned, when you use a php script to unzip a tar file, who is the "owner" user of the files created? I'm wondering if its my ftp user because I uploaded the script file? Or does apache own the file? I know their are flags to be set to preserve the original permissions which I don't want (files where created and archived by someone else). I want my user to be the creater/owner of the files.

    I'm displaying images from outside my web root, like this: header('Content-type:image/png'); readfile($fullpath); The content-type: image/png is what confuses me. Someone else helped me out with this code, but I noticed that not all images are PNG. Many are jpg or gif. And still they are displayed successfully. does anyone know why?

    Is there a way to cache widgets. For example if you place your widgets on high volume websites then each time when someone access that site, a call will be made to your server to get the widget code. This way my server can get too much overloaded just to display the widget . Can I cache the widget HTML code and place it on some server like Akamai. Any suggestions or tips highly appreciated.
