  • Implementing "View as HTML" for Word and PDF documents on an intranet

    I am looking for a way to implement "View as HTML" (as seen in e.g. GMail) for Microsoft Office and Adobe PDF documents stored in an intranet. Can anyone recommend approaches for this? The intranet consists of multiple .NET sites, so I would prefer a .NET library (one that doesn't launch MS Word on the server) for this capability, but any kind of arrangement is welcome.

  • How do I reset a tabcontoller with a drill down table view

    Hi, I have a tabbar with one of the tabs containing a drilldown table. I am having problems once the user has finished using the drilldown table. If they change to another tab, then change back to the original tab, the original tab is still where I left it (at the bottom of the drill down showing the detail view) What I want is on moving to an alternative tab the old tab resets I have tried adding all sorts of stuff to -(void)viewDidDisappear and -(void)viewDidUnload with no success What do I need to do?   • How to activate revision info in line number view

    I know of an Eclipse feature to show revision information (gradual coloring, more info like revisionnumber, date and author on mouseover) for the last changes in a line in the linenumbers-view. Does anyone know how to activate this feature for a file, or even better, by default? I accidently hit some shortcut lately which made it show in one file, it does not show up in the others, though.

    I have a custom list, with calculation, in SharePoint. Everything worked fine until recently when the DataSheet will show strange or wrong % calculation in a % column. But the Standard View will show correct values. IT checked the server side and everything looked ok, I checked the formulas and even re-did them in the column and the issue persist.   • Lotus view column compare to string/integer

    I have a lotus view that stores a number. I need to perform some math against the value, but I am having a lot of problems getting the types to match up. doc.numOfGold = numGold and CInt(doc.numOfGold) = numGold and CInt(doc.numOfGold) = CInt(numGold) and doc.numOfGold = CInt(numGold) all return type mismatch. I've tried changing the column properties to treat it as a decimal, with no better luck. Any thoughts? Thanks!

    Hi, Here's the problem I'm facing : I've got a custom slider that controlls the volume and a label "volume" that I combine together in a liniar Layout to obtain a volume control setting. In the emulator and on a G1 phone these look pretty ok , however , when put on a Xperia mini the label and the slider overlap . What should I do obtain a decent view independent of the device the application runs ?

  • django url from another template than the one associated with the view-function

    Heyy there, i have an application, and in my urls.py i have something like that: urlpatterns = patterns('', url(r'^profile_view/(?P<id>\d+)/$', profile_view, name='profile_view'),) meaning that the profile_view function has id as a parameter. Now, i want to call that function from another template than the one associated with the def-view that has this url. How should i do that? i have to put two render_to_response to one same function, in order to render the objects from both models? thank you!
