  • Attribute & Reflection libraries for C++?

    - by Fabian
    Most mature C++ projects seem to have an own reflection and attribute system, i.e for defining attributes which can be accessed by string and are automatically serializable. At least many C++ projects I participated in seemed to reinvent the wheel. Do you know any good open source libraries for C++ which support reflection and attribute containers, specifically: Defining RTTI and attributes via macros Accessing RTTI and attributes via code Automatic serialisation of attributes Listening to attribute modifications (e.g. OnValueChanged)

  • Yaml Emitter in C++

    - by redmoskito
    Is there a C++ library for emitting YAML? Wikipedia mentions a c++ wrapper for libyaml, but the link is broken. The official YAML site only offers yaml-cpp, which was also suggested in this SO question, but cpp-yaml is only a parser, not an emitter. Am I out of luck? Edit: I'm looking for an object oriented interface, hence the C++ requirement. I know I could use libyaml's C interface in C++ code, but that's less than ideal.

  • C# save a file from a HTTP Request

    - by d1k_is
    Im trying to download and save a file from a HttpWebResponse but im having problems saving the file (other than Text Files) properly. I think its something to do with this part: byte[] byteArray = Encoding.UTF8.GetBytes(http.Response.Content); MemoryStream stream = new MemoryStream(byteArray); Text Files work fine with the above code but when I try to save the Content to an Image file it gets corrupted. How do i write this 'string' data to an image file (and other binary files)

  • Is there an open source MVP framework for C++?

    - by morpheous
    I am looking for a lightweight set of C++ classes that implement/show how to use the MVP design pattern, so that I can refactor some legacy code I am working on. A library/framework would be nice to get me started. A quick google search seems to bring up only C# examples - is anyone aware of any C++ ones out there? [Edit] I am particularly interested in a Passive viewer, as I want to completely decouple the view from the model.

  • Compare two times without regard to Date associated - Ruby

    - by H55nick
    I am trying to find the difference in time (without days/years/months) of two different days. Example: #ruby >1.9 time1 = Time.now - 1.day time2 = Time.now #code to make changes #test: time1 == time2 # TRUE My solution: time1 = time1.strftime("%h:%m").to_time time2 = time2.strftime("%h:%m").to_time #test time1 == time2 #True #passes I was wondering if there was a better way of doing this? Maybe we could keep the Date the same as time1/time2?

  • SVG, animate a line from x1,y1 to x2,y2?

    - by dskvr
    The animate property is very loosely documented. And unfortunately for me, the way the W3 documents SVG is VERY difficult understand and cross reference. Does anybody know if it is possible to animate a line from point A (x1,y1) to point B (x2,y2), and if so, how would this be done? (example code would put a really bright smile on my face)
