  • Get image data in Javascript?

    - by detariael
I have a regular HTML page with some images (just regular IMG HTML tags). I'd like to get their content, base64 encoded preferably, without the need to redownload the image (ie. it's already loaded by the browser, so now I want the content). I'd love to achieve that with Greasemonkey and Firefox.

  • I would like to resize a window/image in a nib at load time.

    - by Centis Biks
I have an iPhone app that I'm porting to the iPad. I store several of the ViewControllers in xib's that I would like to resize when they're loaded. For example my startup screen with options is a bitmap that can easily scale up (despite the mis-matched aspect ratio) and I'm trying to figure out where I have ability to resize the image/window during xib loading.

  • Jquery $.post() - Possible to do a full page post request?

    - by Sosh
I know I can do an out of band Post request with Jquery and the $.post( syntax. However, I'm interested to know if it is possible for jquery to cause a post request on the whole page (as when a form is submitted) so that a brand new page is loaded. Is this possible? Thanks There is no form element in the DOM, so I can't do form.submit().

  • Need help with some functions and variables

    - by Doug
function createXMLHTTP() { xmlhttp = =new XMLHttpRequest(); return xmlhttp; } I'm trying to create 3 instances of this, but it all has the same variable name which is xmlhttp. How can I dynamically create different variable names? I'm not sure if that's the right way to ask the question. I want to create like xmlhttp1, xmlhttp2, xmlhttp3, so then I can reference each one.

  • Is there any way static block is executed more than once? if so then how?

    - by learner
My Understanding Static block is executed during class loading, If a class is already loaded then there is no way to load the class other than class reloading Doubt/Question 1) Is there any time JVM reloads the class? My Understanding In Class Loading JVM loads source of the Java file, so it can not keep all thousands files source is a memory, it should discard the rarely used code and reload again when it is necessary and during reload JVM is not initializing static variables and locks again(may be using some tracking mechanism) Doubt/Question 2) If my above understanding is incorrect then please correct me

  • Url rewriting : prevent to display xml

    - by Frank
Edit : I've got an aspx file (default.aspx) that loads a flash file (index.swf), but this swf needs a xml file (foo.xml) to load correctly. However, I would like to block any request aiming directly at the xml file. Is it possible, using a rewritting engine (isapi_rewrite for example) to detect if the xml file is being 'hotlinked' or being loaded by the 'index.swf'(inside default.aspx)? Any ideas? Thank you.

  • ASP page get current focused control

    - by Breander
So what I have is a bunch of dynamically created textboxs that when the user enters some data and either tabs out or clicks out some calculations are done. After the page posts back control focus is lost. What I need is to be able to set focus back to the control that was tabbed to or clicked into not the control that data was entered into.

  • Can I use anything other than BIGINT as Primary Key data type in SQLite?

    - by weenet
I was psyched about the possibility of using SQLite as a database solution during development so that I could focus on writing the code first and dynamically generating the db at runtime using NHibernate's ShemaExport functionality. However, I'm running into a few issues, not the least of which is that it seems that SQLite requires me to use Int64 for my primary keys (vs, say, Int32 or Guid). Is there any way around this?

  • Overwriting dlls in MEF.

    - by Jeffrey Lott
Right now, I'm trying to separate out a set of constantly changing classes into their own dll and dynamically load them using MEF. My problem is that whenever I try and overwrite the dll while the app is running, it says it's in use. Is there anyway to configure MEF to let me overwrite the dll and pick up the changes while the app is still running?
