  • Extending DataGrid/Changing DataGrids header

    Is there any way how to override DataGrids header line ? Or at least its behaviour ? I'm trying to implement Outlook-like grouping of the table. That is allow user to drag column header out of the table to the dedicated area to sort by that column (for example XamDataGrid has that feature, you can see how it works here).   • Strange phantom header margin bug html/css

    So I'm creating this website and there is a strange untraceable bug that causes the header to move down 10 or so pixels. On a refresh the header could be correct or it could be broken.     I'm setting up an SSO for Active Directory users through a website that runs on an Apache (Apache2 on SLES 11.1), and when testing with Firefox it all works fine. But when I try to open the website in Internet Explorer 8 (Windows 7), all I get is "Bad Request Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand.     i am having issues with xampp running on windows 7 RC32 i type in a localhost and get a header back only, no page content somedays it works fine, other days i can't get it to work after multiple attempts, reboot or otherwise the request doesn't even get put into the acccess log which seems unusual here is the log file at startup incase that helps any ideas ??   • Where do I connect the HDD LED wires on my RAID adapter?

    I'm using a Promise FastTrak TX8660 with RAID 5. The manual (and Google) just doesn't seem to explain how exactly to connect a standard two-pin HDD LED wire to the eight available pins on the card. The Manual just says - To connect your LED, follow the following diagram: The card itself resembles the diagram: But it doesn't make any sense to me. All I have is a two-pin connecter for HDD LED on the front of my computer case. I don't need anything fancy like the fault LED or seperate indicators for each drive. I just want to be able to see when my RAID 5 array is working, that's all. I don't know what the "R" and "G" stand for, but my HDD LED wires are red and white. I tried connecting the red wire to the "R" pin and the white wire to the "G" pin, but that just makes the LED on the front of my case light up indefinitely, even when the computer is idle. Which pins am I suppose to connect the HDD LED header to for basic activity indication?

  • Is this a File Header / Magic Number?

    I've got 120,000 files (way more, actually; this is just an arbitrary subset) of an unknown type. Linux file does not identify them (not that they're necessarily Linux files), nor do any other methods I've tried. There are only two hints about them that I currently have. One is that I suspect some compression is employed -- I have metadata that claims the file sizes are always some amount larger than what I observe. The other is that in 100,000 of these files, the first 16 bytes are always: ff ee ee dd 00 00 00 00 01 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 That really looks like a file header/magic number to me, but I just can't place it. Does anyone know what kind of files this would indicate? Alternatively, can anyone convince me that these suspiciously common bytes certainly do not indicate a specific file type? UPDATE I don't know the exact reverse-engineering details, but most of the files in our case are zips after the first 29(? or so) bytes are ignored. So in practice the problem is solved (we know how to process the files) but in theory the question is still unanswered -- I don't know which application routinely prepends about 29 bytes to its zips. [I'm not sure if I should leave the question open or not at this point.]

    I am trying to get mod disk_cache to permantly cache images retrieved from an image server on the webserver using ProxyPass. While the image is being retrieved correctly from the server and is served from the cache on further requests, then I am still having the webserver call the image server and causing the cached header to be updated. Because of load concerns then I need to never call the image server on a specific url again after it has been cached once, or extend the refresh time for as long as possible.   • How to get nginx to pass HTTP_AUTHORIZATION header to Apache

    Am using Nginx as a reverse proxy to an Apache server that uses HTTP Auth. For some reason, I can't get the HTTP_AUTHORIZATION header through to Apache, it seems to get filtered out by Nginx. Hence, no requests can authenticate. Note that the Basic auth is dynamic so I don't want to hard-code it in my nginx config. Update - turns out the problem was something I had overlooked in my original question: mod_wsgi. The site in question here is a Django site, and it turns out that Apache does get the auth variables passed through, however mod_wsgi filters them out.   • Conditionally Rewrite Email Headers (From & Reply-To) Exchange 2010

    I have a client who maintains Company A (with email addresses %username%@companyA.com) and they own the domain companyB.com however there is no "infrastructure" (no Exchange server) set up specifically for companyB.com. My client needs to be able to have the end users within it's company (companyA.com) add a specific word or phrase to the Subject (or Body) line of the Outgoing email (they are only concerned with outgoing, incoming is a non-issue in this case) that triggers the Exchange 2010 servers to rewrite the header From and Reply-To [email protected] with [email protected] but this re-write should ONLY occur if the user places the key word/phrase in the Subject (or Body). I have attempted using Transport Rules and the New-AddressRewriteEntry cmdlet however each seems to have a limitation. From what I can tell Transport Rules cannot re-write the From/Reply-To fields and New-AddressRewriteEntry cannot be conditionally triggered based on message content. So to recap: User sends email outside the organization: From and Reply-To remain [email protected] User sends email outside the organization WITH "KeyWord" in the Subject or Body: From and Reply-To change to [email protected] automatically. Anyone know how this could be done WITHOUT coding a new Mail Agent? I don't have the programming knowledge to code a custom Agent... I can use any function of Exchange Management Shell or Console. Alternatively if anyone knows of a simple add-on program that could do this that would be good too. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!!!

  • Configure IIS site to work with host header & hosts file entry

    I'm I bit of an IIS / Web noob (I'm a C# backend service / winforms dev) so please bare with me :-) I've set up a site in IIS on my local dev machine. In the bindings section of the site ive added 4 bindings, all 4 for http: Host Name Port IP Address blog.sourcecube.co.za 26581 * www.blog.sourcecube.co.za 26581 * blog.sourcecube.co.za 26581 127.0.0.1 www.blog.sourcecube.co.za 26581 127.0.0.1 in my hosts file (drivers\etc\hosts), i've added the folling entries: 127.0.0.1 blog.sourcecube.co.za 127.0.0.1 www.blog.sourcecube.co.za when i ping my domain name from the command line it does in fact resolve to the loopback address, 127.0.0.1. So what I'm expecting to happen when i navigate to blog.sourcecube.co.za in my browser is for it to resolve to 127.0.0.1, and when the request hits IIS, it should know which site to serve because of the host header? But when i navigate to blog.sourcecube.co.za, i get an "Unable to connect, Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at blog.sourcecube.co.za" error. What am I doing wrong? --- UPDATE --- Navigating to blog.sourcecube.co.za:26581 from my browser works... I'd like get it working without specifying the port number though.

  • Denying access to website via htaccess based on http header

    I've been trying for ages to get this to work and I can't put my finger on it. What I'm trying to do is block access to a site from a number of countries, based on the CF-IPCountry header added by CloudFlare. I figured htaccess was a suitable way to do this. We are running LiteSpeed 4.2.4 on top of DirectAdmin for a control panel. The problem we having is the htaccess rule doesn't seem to do anything. Here's the rule we tried: SetEnvIf CF-IPCountry AU UnwantedCountry=1 Order allow,deny Deny from env=UnwantedCountry Allow from all That makes no difference at all, connections are still accepted. Just to check that the rule was at least being processed, I changed Allow from all to Deny from all, and connections were refused. So it appears to be a problem wit the variable. Here's the relevant headers that come in with the request. Connection: Keep-Alive Accept-Encoding: gzip CF-Connecting-IP: xx.xx.xx.xx CF-IPCountry: AU X-Forwarded-For: xx.xx.xx.xx.xx CF-RAY: c9062956e2d04b6 X-Forwarded-Proto: http CF-Visitor: {"scheme":"http"} Zone-Name: xx.com.au Hopefully someone can help me out, this has been driving me nuts for too long.     I have three websites hosted (example1.com, example2.com, example3.com) on a server. There is a page (test.php) on example1.com with just code below inside it: <?php header('Location:http://example2.com/a.php'); ?> When I browse test.php it goes to http://example1.com/a.php . it doesn't understand it is another domain url, it tried to find the page on itself. but when I put http://google.com instead of example2.com/a.php it works correct. I really get confused. What is the problem ? Should I set some configuration on the server? ( I am administrator of the hosting server ). Ps. The server is behind a pound server.     I am using XML documentation headers on my c# files to pass the StyleCop rule SA1633. Currently, I have to use the 2 slash commenting rule to allow StyleCop to recognize the header. for example: // <copyright file="abc.ascx.cs" company="MyCompany.com"> // MyCompany.com. All rights reserved. // </copyright> // <author>Me</author> This works fine for StyleCop, however I would like to use the 3 slash commenting rule to enable visual studio to understand the comments as XML and provide the XML functionality (highlighting, auto indenting etc) /// <copyright file="abc.ascx.cs" company="MyCompany.com"> /// MyCompany.com. All rights reserved. /// </copyright> /// <author>Me</author> The problem is that when using 3 slashes, StyleCop no longer see's the header and throws the SA1633 warning.
