    Hello again to everyone and many thanks to all the expert that will read this post and proupose a solution to my problem. In the last tw week, when i saw with MPC-HC (media player classic home cinema) some "justyfied" episodes, my F-Secure Client Security antivirus software alert-me that there is a threat in A0027132.exe file (the number still chanhe and increase each time, 3, that the antivir found a new threat). All this three threat are now quaratined and the file are: 1) C:/System Volume Information/_restore/{72AACB12-6526-40F2-81D7-69DF5809DD8A}\A0027132.exe 2) D:/System Volume Information/_restore/{72AACB12-6526-40F2-81D7-69DF5809DD8A}\A0027133.exe 3) D:/System Volume Information/_restore/{72AACB12-6526-40F2-81D7-69DF5809DD8A}\A0027134.exe the three threat are recognized like: 1) Backdoor.Generic.360086 2) Trojan.Packed.8707 2) Trojan.Packed.8807 The F-secure and the OS are both udpated at the last release/virus definition.   • JSP / Tomcat / Apache setup overview on Fedora Core

    Hi Folks, For someone with so much Java experience, boy do I feel clueless - thanks in advance for your help in my grocking the present (Feb, 2010) JSP environment. Here's what I am hoping to learn: Do I understand correctly that most people use Apache to "front-end" their Tomcat servers, such that Apache "talks" directly to web clients and "proxies" Tomcat servers? Do I understand correctly that Apache isn't capable of serving JSP directly but requires a server (like Tomcat)? Is there an RPM package for Fedora Core so I don't have to build one myself? Or, does Fedora Core's package installer do a good job on this one from source code? (Some do, some don't!) While I'm here asking questions; Does Tomcat come with a working example that one can start hacking on as a way to get started quickly? If not, got a good suggestion? Thanks folks, RT

  • Win7 Prof. Computer won't wake on lan via Magic Packet from outside network

    Hi all. I just purchased a new computer running Windows 7 Professional x64. I'd like to save power by having it sleep after an hour, but I would also like to be able to Remote Desktop into it at my leisure. I set up a static IP and have port forwarding set up on the router. If the computer is awake, the RDP connection works just fine. I downloaded and installed Wake-On-Lan thanks to this article If I put my new computer to sleep and send the magic packet from my old computer inside of my home network it wakes up. If I do the same thing, however, from my work computer outside the network it does not. I figured the Firewall was blocking the incoming traffic, but nothing in the Windows Firewall logs points to this happening. I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions or any tests I can run through in order to narrow down what the problem might be. Thanks in advance for any help you might be able to offer.

  • Forward Windows Events Logs to Rsyslog

    Thanks for taking time to read this post. Basically I would like to forward Windows Events Logs from all my desktop clients to a linux box with rsyslog on. Rsyslog provide a Windows agent to do just that but its 40 euros per license and when you have x amount of machines that cost adds up. I was wondering if there is a FOSS alternative available I have tried searching the Google but haven't managed to find anything. Hopefully someone might already faced this same problem and are using an alternative that they could recommend. Again thanks for reading, Kind Regards Sam

  • OpenLDAP User Home Directory

    I'm trying to install OpenLDAP on CentOS 6.2 . I manually added the LDAP accounts on server, and I had been successful to login the server by the LDAP username/password, but I found that the Home on Desktop of GNOME still points to a local user's Home folder, at the same time, the LDAP user's Home folder was created under /home as expected. So my question is how should I map the Home folder of desktop to the path set on LDAP server ? Thanks ! And how should I use ldapadd command, it always tells me the SASL error, but I really do not know why. Thanks !
