  • Visual Studio 2010 is messing with my references

    I have a dll in the GAC. I browse to this same dll in a different place then referenced in the GAC using the file dialog of add reference. Visual studio repoints it to the gac location. Boom my build blows up on the build server that doesn't have this dll in the gac or at that location. What is the best way to fix this?

    I have a report that we need to link (which we've checked to be working) to in a JSF project, the link looks like the following: http://www.example.com/report/summary&rs:Command=Render However when we try to load the page that links to it we get the following error: The reference to entity "rs:Command" must end with the ';' How can I link to the report within my pages and prevent it from trying to parse the rs:Command?

    Stupid question, right? But the official docs for 'text index' say: http://docs.mongodb.org/manual/core/index-text/ Text Indexes New in version 2.4. To perform queries that access the text index, use the $text query operator. Whereas if you click on the help for searching the index you created with the $text operator, it reads: http://docs.mongodb.org/manual/reference/operator/query/text/#op._S_text $text New in version 2.6. Seems to be 2.4 but still having problems wiht it.

    Hi, With a reference to my previous question, I would like to know how would I extract information of a WCF service from a client application to know what methods/types are exposed if the service exposes only one endpoint that uses webHttpBinding? Just to summarize, in my previous question, I came to know that an endpoint using webHttpBinding does not get exposed in the generated WSDL because it would be a JSON endpoint and is just not compatible.

    Dear experts Is there a way to access the ID of an dom element? I don't mean using the getElementById attribute to find out a array of objects.   • Suppress errors of files that are not set to be built from the "Error List" window

    I have some cs files in my project that are not set to be built (Properties - Build Action = None). They contain bits of code that don't compile as a whole and are there merely for reference. I don't care about any compilation errors in them, but they appear in the "Error List" window, cluttering it. Is there some way to tell VS to ignore errors in that file? Or in all files not set to be built, at that ? I'm using VS 2010 Thanks

    I wonder whether there's a way to program a resource DLL for Windows Clusters in Delphi. I want to write a program that observes cluster state changes. Judging from the MSDN API reference, all relevant functions are located in the ClusAPI.h and ResAPI.h headers, but unfortunately it seems as if they haven't been ported yet and HeaderConv seems to fail on them.   • JsonIgnore attributes not working in ASP.NET?

    I've got an object in my project with circular references. I've put [JsonIgnore] above the field like so: [JsonIgnore] public virtual Foobar ChildObject { get; set; } I'm still getting circular reference errors when I serialize the object. The only fields that do not have JsonIgnore are string fields and should not cause this. Is there something else I need to do to get JsonIgnore to work? Thanks!

    I have a RestFull grails api that i expose through grails Controller. I need to automatically bind the xml data sent in a POST request. I don't think using groovy bindData(object,params) works as the params reference seems not having the xml elements. i use the parseRequest=true in the UrlMappings but yet the params Object does'nt have the xml elements. am i missing some other config so that my params object get automatically populated with the xml body elements?

    The animate property is very loosely documented. And unfortunately for me, the way the W3 documents SVG is VERY difficult understand and cross reference. Personally I have always considered it to be a good reference, not my favourite one but certainly useful. Here I have seen somebody advising it, but many others commenting against it instead.
