  • Can ASP.net MVC 2 Project and CMS can be Combined together

    - by coolguy97
    Hi, I have developed project using Asp.net MVC 2.Now the content part of My site i don't want to build a Cms for that So my question is can i used any existing CMS developed in MVC2 so that The content part will be taken care of by the CMS and Application part by developed project by me. I have used CMS like Silverstripe which is quite easy which also provides ORM to develop application on their Sapphire engine which but developed in PHP. If it is Combined then when writing Code i will write like this [This just Sample Imaginary Code.I just want CMS to be easy] <logo><Pick_up_from_CMS ID=logo></logo> <menu><Pick_up_from_CMS ID=menu></menu> <header><Pick_up_from_CMS ID=header></header> <body> <Pick_up_from_CMS ID=body> <MY_Application_Logic ID=Logic1><!--This May be my Registration or Search form> --> </body> <footer><Pick_up_from_CMS ID=footer></footer>

  • Get to know what HTML-button is clicked with PHP, no Name of value available

    - by koko
    I have a wizard with 4 steps and in one of the steps, you can add items. By default, there are 3 time 5 empty input-fields listed. When you click a button, there have to be added some more. The 3 times 5 fields are added by a loop. How can I determine where I have to add some fields (in the first 5 field of the second or the third). I can't use another name for every button, because sometimes there can be more then 3 groups of 5 fields. In my code (PHP), I use the name of the button to know what happened in the form, so the name can't be different for the button in every group ... Further, the whole step is 1 form, so the post can't go to another script ... The value of the button has to be the same for every group. I've been thinking on possible solutions and these came up: On click a javascript adds a value to the post (in a hidden field?) But is this posted with the form? Could it be possible to get the ID of the clicked button? This might be different :-) I need a refresh after the click, so pure javascript isn't a solution either ... It is a very specific question, but I hope someone can give me some direction. Here is the code I'm talking about: <h3><label class="list_list:table_title">Eten</label></h3> <table id="eten"> <thead> <tr> <th>Naam item</th> <th>Aantal</th> </tr> </thead> <tbody> <tr> <td class="item"><input type="text" name="item_1_1" value="" class="inputText" maxlength="64" size="46" tabindex="11"/></td> <td class="amount"><input type="text" name="amount_1_1" value="" • Render action return View(); form problem

    - by Roger Rogers
    I'm new to MVC, so please bear with me. :-) I've got a strongly typed "Story" View. This View (story) can have Comments. I've created two Views (not partials) for my Comments controller "ListStoryComments" and "CreateStoryComment", which do what their names imply. These Views are included in the Story View using RenderAction, e.g.: <!-- List comments --> <h2>All Comments</h2> <% Html.RenderAction("ListStoryComments", "Comments", new { id = Model.Story.Id }); %> <!-- Create new comment --> <% Html.RenderAction("CreateStoryComment", "Comments", new { id = Model.Story.Id }); %> (I pass in the Story id in order to list related comments). All works as I hoped, except, when I post a new comment using the form, it returns the current (parent) View, but the Comments form field is still showing the last content I typed in and the ListStoryComments View isn’t updated to show the new story. Basically, the page is being loaded from cache, as if I had pressed the browser’s back button. If I press f5 it will try to repost the form. If I reload the page manually (reenter the URL in the browser's address bar), and then press f5, I will see my new content and the empty form field, which is my desired result. For completeness, my CreateStoryComment action looks like this: [HttpPost] public ActionResult CreateStoryComment([Bind(Exclude = "Id, Timestamp, ByUserId, ForUserId")]Comment commentToCreate) { try { commentToCreate.ByUserId = userGuid; commentToCreate.ForUserId = userGuid; commentToCreate.StoryId = 2; // hard-coded for testing _repository.CreateComment(commentToCreate); return View(); } catch { return View(); } }

  • HTML form with multiple submit options

    - by phimuemue
    Hi, I'm trying to create a small web app that is used to remove items from a MySQL table. It just shows the items in a HTML table and for each item a button [delete]: item_1 [delete] item_2 [delete] ... item_N [delete] To achieve this, I dynamically generate the table via PHP into a HTML form. This form has then obviously N [delete]-buttons. The form should use the POST-method for transfering data. For the deletion I wanted to submit the ID (primary key in the MySQL table) of the corresponding item to the executing php skript. So I introduced hidden fields (all these fields have the name='ID' that store the ID of the corresponding item. However, when pressing an arbitrary [delete], it seems to submit always just the last ID (i.e. the value of the last ID hidden field). Is there any way to submit just the ID field of the corresponding item without using multiple forms? Or is it possible to submit data from multiple forms with just one submit-button? Or should I even choose any completly different way? The point why I want to do it in just one single form is that there are some "global" parameters that shall not be placed next to each item, but just once for the whole table.

  • Implementing a State Machine in Angular.js to control routing

    - by ldn_tech_exec
    Can anyone help me with integrating a state machine to control routing? What's the best method to do this? Create a service? I need to basically intercept every $location request, run the state machine and let it figure out what the next $location.path should be. Think of the problem like a bank of questions that get added and removed over time. The user visits once in a while, passes in the user's answers object to the statemachine, and the statemachine figures out which question to load. This is my pseudocode, but i need to figure out where to put this or what event I can hook into to make sure all route requests are passed through the machine. Do I need a specific stateMachine controller? Do I create a service? Where do I use the service? Do I need to override $locationProvider? $scope.user.answers = [{ id: 32, answer: "whatever" }, { id:33, answer: "another answer" }] $scope.questions = [{ id:32, question:"what is your name?", path:"/question/1" },{ id:34, question:"how old are you?", path:"/question/2" }] var questions = $scope.questions; angular.forEach(questions, function(question) { if(question.id !exist in $scope.user.answers.id) { $location.path = question.path break; }); Thanks

  • calll html button onclick event from asp server side login authenticate event

    - by CraigJSte
    Need to programmatically click an html button from a login event (code behind? the html button sends variables to Flash using method: no response - with no postback and uses ExternalInterface API via javascript. Going from SWF ASPX is great, but need to send User.Identity to SWF from ASPX via javascript after authenticate with login event which am having impossible time getting to work... (calling HTML event from Login button) tried scripting in javascript to login event with no luck, possibly because postback clears SWF variables - so perhaps keeping separate (login then html send) would work... Here is my relevant code: function sendToActionScript(value) { swfobject.getObjectById("Property").sendToActionScript(value); } </script> <object ..// SWF File embedded> </object <form id="form1" runat="server"> <asp:Login id="login1" OnAuthenticate="login1_Authenticate"/> </form> <form id="form" onsubmit="return false;"> <input type="text" name="input" id="input" value="" runat="server" /> <button id="btnInput" runat="server" causesvalidation="false" visible="true" style="width: 51px" onclick="sendToActionScript(this.form.input.value);" >Send</button><br /> </form> // CODE BEHIND protected void Login1_Authenticate(object sender, AuthenticateEventArgs e) { // do something to get User Id and Role //bind the string (user or role) to input.value //then call the HTML button onclick event to send it to SWF file. //which I could put in separate function and call from Login_Authenticate } Can anyone help me I am out of ideas. • How do I create self-relationships in polymorphic inheritance in Elixir and Pylons?

    - by Turukawa
    I am new to programming and am following the example in the Pylons documentation on creating a Wiki. The database I want to link to the wiki was created with Elixir so I rewrote the Wiki database schema and have continued from there. In the wiki there is a requirement for a Navigation table which is inherited by Pages and Sections. A section can have many pages, while a page can only have one section. In addition, each sibling node can be chain-referenced to each other. So: Nav has "section" (OneToMany) and "before" (OneToOne - to reference preceeding node) Page has "section" (ManyToOne - many pages in one section) and inherits "before" Section inherits all from Nav The code I've written looks like this: class Nav(Entity): using_options(inheritance='multi') name = Field(Unicode(30), default=u'Untitled Node') path = Field(Unicode(255), default=u'') section = OneToMany('Page', inverse='section') after = OneToOne('Nav', inverse='before') before = OneToMany('Nav', inverse='after') class Page(Nav): using_options(inheritance='multi') content = Field(UnicodeText, nullable=False) posted = Field(DateTime, default=now()) title = Field(Unicode(255), default=u'Untitled Page') heading = Field(Unicode(255)) tags = ManyToMany('Tag') comments = OneToMany('Comment') section = ManyToOne('Nav', inverse='section') class Section(Nav): using_options(inheritance='multi') Errors received on this: sqlalchemy.exc.OperationalError: (OperationalError) table nav has no column named aftr_id u'INSERT INTO nav (name, path, aftr_id, row_type) VALUES (?, ?, ?, ?)' I've also tried: before = ManyToMany('Nav', inverse='before') on Nav in the hopes this might break the problem, but also not. The original SQLAlchemy code from the tutorial for these declarations is as follows: nav_table = schema.Table('nav', meta.metadata, schema.Column('id', types.Integer(), schema.Sequence('nav_id_seq', optional=True), primary_key=True), schema.Column('name', types.Unicode(255), default=u'Untitled Node'), schema.Column('path', types.Unicode(255), default=u''), schema.Column('section', types.Integer(), schema.ForeignKey('nav.id')), schema.Column('before', types.Integer(), default=None), schema.Column('type', types.String(30), nullable=False) ) page_table = schema.Table('page', meta.metadata, schema.Column('id', types.Integer, schema.ForeignKey('nav.id'), primary_key=True), schema.Column('content', types.Text(), nullable=False), schema.Column('posted', types.DateTime(), default=now), schema.Column('title', types.Unicode(255), default=u'Untitled Page'), schema.Column('heading', types.Unicode(255)), ) section_table = sa.Table('section', meta.metadata, schema.Column('id', types.Integer, schema.ForeignKey('nav.id'), primary_key=True), ) orm.mapper(Nav, nav_table, polymorphic_on=nav_table.c.type, polymorphic_identity='nav') orm.mapper(Section, section_table, inherits=Nav, polymorphic_identity='section') orm.mapper(Page, page_table, inherits=Nav, polymorphic_identity='page', properties={ 'comments':orm.relation(Comment, backref='page', cascade='all'), 'tags':orm.relation(Tag, secondary=pagetag_table) }) Any help is much appreciated.

  • MySql Query lag time / deadlock?

    - by Click Upvote
    When there are multiple PHP scripts running in parallel, each making an UPDATE query to the same record in the same table repeatedly, is it possible for there to be a 'lag time' before the table is updated with each query? I have basically 5-6 instances of a PHP script running in parallel, having been launched via cron. Each script gets all the records in the items table, and then loops through them and processes them. However, to avoid processing the same item more than once, I store the id of the last item being processed in a seperate table. So this is how my code works: function getCurrentItem() { $sql = "SELECT currentItemId from settings"; $result = $this->db->query($sql); return $result->get('currentItemId'); } function setCurrentItem($id) { $sql = "UPDATE settings SET currentItemId='$id'"; $this->db->query($sql); } $currentItem = $this->getCurrentItem(); $sql = "SELECT * FROM items WHERE status='pending' AND id > $currentItem'"; $result = $this->db->query($sql); $items = $result->getAll(); foreach ($items as $i) { //Check if $i has been processed by a different instance of the script, and if so, //leave it untouched. if ($this->getCurrentItem() > $i->id) continue; $this->setCurrentItem($i->id); // Process the item here } But despite of all the precautions, most items are being processed more than once. Which makes me think that there is some lag time between the update queries being run by the PHP script, and when the database actually updates the record. Is it true? And if so, what other mechanism should I use to ensure that the PHP scripts always get only the latest currentItemId even when there are multiple scripts running in parrallel? Would using a text file instead of the db help?

  • Problem in loading Iframe in FireFox!

    - by maddy
    Hello all, I'm trying to load an aspx page using Iframe in VB.net. I'm trying to set the source of Iframe with the help of Ext (JavaScript). My aspx code: <div id="container"> < iframe id="pane" name="pane" src="Empty.aspx" frameborder="0" > </iframe> </div> My Javascript code: Pane = function() { var pane; return { init: function() { if (!document.body) { return; } pane = Ext.get('pane'); if ( something ) { this.load(); } else { this.navigateTo('Page.aspx?id=' + a.ID); } }, load: function() { pane.dom.src = 'HTTPURL'; }, navigateTo: function(url) { var agt = navigator.userAgent.toLowerCase(); if (agt.indexOf("firefox") != -1) { document.getElementById('pane').src = url; } else { pane.dom.src = url; } } }; } (); This works fine with IE and Iframe gets loaded with page.aspx every time the parent page is requested. But with FireFox it doesn't. With FireFox the src attribute remains "Empty.aspx" when the page is loaded but when I refresh the page i.e. in post back event the src attribute changes to "page.aspx?id=a.id" and iframe gets loaded properly. Has anyone faced such kind of problem before? If you know the solution please help me, it's killing me big. Thanks in advance. Maddy.

    Hi I have a check box when check that check box the id corresponding to the check box is placed on a text box ... but when there is only single value in the database i cant get the check value why? here is my code <? if(isset($AcceptFriend)) {?> <form action="<?=site_url()?>friends/Accept_Friend" name="orderform" id="orderform" method="post" style="background:#CCCC99"> <input type="text" name="chId" id="chId" > <table border="0" height="50%" id="chkbox" width="50%" > <tr> <? foreach($AcceptFriend as $row) {?> <tr> <td>Name</td><td><?=$row['dFrindName'].'</br>';?></td> <td> <input type="checkbox" name="checkId" id="checkId" value="<? echo $row['dMemberId']; ?>" onClick="get_check_value()" ></td> </tr> <? }}?> </tr> <tr> <td width="10px"><input type="submit" name="submit" id="submit" class="buttn" value="AcceptFriend"></td></tr> </table> </form> This is the script i am using function get_check_value() { var c_value = ""; for (var i=0; i < document.orderform.checkId.length; i++) { if (document.orderform.checkId[i].checked) { c_value = c_value + document.orderform.checkId[i].value + "\n"; } } alert(c_value); document.getElementById('chId').value= c_value; }

  • Select highest rated, oldest track

    - by Blair McMillan
    I have several tables: CREATE TABLE [dbo].[Tracks]( [Id] [uniqueidentifier] NOT NULL, [Artist_Id] [uniqueidentifier] NOT NULL, [Album_Id] [uniqueidentifier] NOT NULL, [Title] [nvarchar](255) NOT NULL, [Length] [int] NOT NULL, CONSTRAINT [PK_Tracks_1] PRIMARY KEY CLUSTERED ( [Id] ASC )WITH (PAD_INDEX = OFF, STATISTICS_NORECOMPUTE = OFF, IGNORE_DUP_KEY = OFF, ALLOW_ROW_LOCKS = ON, ALLOW_PAGE_LOCKS = ON) ON [PRIMARY] ) ON [PRIMARY] CREATE TABLE [dbo].[TrackHistory]( [Id] [int] IDENTITY(1,1) NOT NULL, [Track_Id] [uniqueidentifier] NOT NULL, [Datetime] [datetime] NOT NULL, CONSTRAINT [PK_TrackHistory] PRIMARY KEY CLUSTERED ( [Id] ASC )WITH (PAD_INDEX = OFF, STATISTICS_NORECOMPUTE = OFF, IGNORE_DUP_KEY = OFF, ALLOW_ROW_LOCKS = ON, ALLOW_PAGE_LOCKS = ON) ON [PRIMARY] ) ON [PRIMARY] INSERT INTO [cooltunes].[dbo].[TrackHistory] ([Track_Id] ,[Datetime]) VALUES ("335294B0-735E-4E2C-8389-8326B17CE813" ,GETDATE()) CREATE TABLE [dbo].[Ratings]( [Id] [int] IDENTITY(1,1) NOT NULL, [Track_Id] [uniqueidentifier] NOT NULL, [User_Id] [uniqueidentifier] NOT NULL, [Rating] [tinyint] NOT NULL, CONSTRAINT [PK_Ratings] PRIMARY KEY CLUSTERED ( [Id] ASC )WITH (PAD_INDEX = OFF, STATISTICS_NORECOMPUTE = OFF, IGNORE_DUP_KEY = OFF, ALLOW_ROW_LOCKS = ON, ALLOW_PAGE_LOCKS = ON) ON [PRIMARY] ) ON [PRIMARY] INSERT INTO [cooltunes].[dbo].[Ratings] ([Track_Id] ,[User_Id] ,[Rating]) VALUES ("335294B0-735E-4E2C-8389-8326B17CE813" ,"C7D62450-8BE6-40F6-80F1-A539DA301772" ,1) Users User_Id|Guid Other fields Links between the tables are pretty obvious. TrackHistory has each track added to it as a row whenever it is played ie. a track will appear in there many times. Ratings value will either be 1 or -1. What I'm trying to do is select the Track with the highest rating, that is more than 2 hours old, and if there is a duplicate rating for a track (ie a track receives 6 +1 ratings and 1 - rating, giving that track a total rating of 5, another track also has a total rating of 5), the track that was last played the longest ago should be returned. (If all tracks have been played within the last 2 hours, no rows should be returned) I'm getting somewhere doing each part individually using the link above, SUM(Value) and GROUP BY Track_Id, but I'm having trouble putting it all together. Hopefully someone with a bit more (MS)SQL knowledge will be able to help me. Many thanks!

  • ASP.NET UpdatePanel > Get selected value from checbox list outside of panel

    - by Rob
    Hi, I have a listing in an UpdatePanel I have some filters for that list in the form a checkboxList control. The checkboxList is created dynamically on page load During the Ajax update (postback), the checkbox list is not populated form the viewstate, so I cannot get the listing to filter. Note: If I put the checkbox list items directly in the markup, it all works, just not if the listing is populated on-postback. protected override void OnLoad(EventArgs e) { if (!Page.IsPostBack) { foreach (var p in global.Product) CheckListManufacurer.Items.Add(new ListItem(p, p)); } base.OnLoad(e); } <form id="ProductListForm" runat="server"> <asp:ScriptManager ID="ScriptManager" runat="server" EnablePartialRendering="true"></asp:ScriptManager> <asp:CheckBoxList ID="CheckListManufacurer" runat="server" EnableViewState="true"> <asp:ListItem Value="" Text="(All)"></asp:ListItem> </asp:CheckBoxList> <asp:Button id="btnTestAjax" runat="server" Text="Test" /> <asp:UpdatePanel ID="ProductsPanel" runat="server" UpdateMode="Conditional"> <Triggers> <asp:AsyncPostBackTrigger ControlID="btnTestAjax" /> <asp:AsyncPostBackTrigger ControlID="CheckListManufacurer" /> </Triggers> <ContentTemplate> <sr:ProductList ID="Products" runat="server" /> </ContentTemplate> </asp:UpdatePanel> </form>

  • Design Practice Retrieve Multiple Users - PHP

    - by pws5068
    Greetings all, I'm looking for a more efficient way to grab multiple users without too much code redundancy. I have a Users class, (here's a highly condensed representation) Class Users { function __construct() { ... ... } private static function getNew($id) { // This is all only example code $sql = "SELECT * FROM Users WHERE User_ID=?"; $user = new User(); $user->setID($id); .... return $user; } public static function getNewestUsers($count) { $sql = "SELECT * FROM Users ORDER BY Join_Date LIMIT ?"; $users = array(); // Prepared Statement Data Here while($stmt->fetch()) { $users[] = Users::getNew($id); ... } return $users; } // These have more sanity/security checks, demonstration only. function setID($id) { $this->id = $id; } function setName($name) { $this->name = $name; } ... } So clearly calling getNew() in a loop is inefficient, because it makes $count number of calls to the database each time. I would much rather select all users in a single SQL statement. The problem is that I have probably a dozen or so methods for getting arrays of users, so all of these would now need to know the names of the database columns which is repeating a lot of structure that could always change later. What are some other ways that I could approach this problem? My goals include efficiency, flexibility, scalability, and good design practice.

  • Xpath fails if an element has a a xmlns attribute

    - by Callum Lamb
    Im trying to use xml to parse a .COLLADA file. The problem is I can't seem to use xpath() to access elements if the root tag has a xmlns attribute. For example this works: $string = <<<TEST <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <COLLADA version="1.4.1"> <library_materials> <material id="Material" name="Material"> <instance_effect url="#Material-effect"/> </material> <material id="Material2" name="Material"> <instance_effect url="#Material-effect2"/> </material> </library_materials> </COLLADA> TEST; $lol = new SimpleXMLElement($string); print_r($lol->library_materials->xpath("material[@id='Material2']")); But this doesn't: $string = <<<TEST <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <COLLADA xmlns="http://www.collada.org/2005/11/COLLADASchema" version="1.4.1"> <library_materials> <material id="Material" name="Material"> <instance_effect url="#Material-effect"/> </material> <material id="Material2" name="Material"> <instance_effect url="#Material-effect2"/> </material> </library_materials> </COLLADA> TEST; $lol = new SimpleXMLElement($string); print_r($lol->library_materials->xpath("material[@id='Material2']")); How does the xmlns suddenly make the xml tree unusable? I thought it just defined the namespace so you could tell it apart from other identical tags in other namespaces. What am I missing?

  • Div click and AUTOCOMPLETE password dialog problem

    - by ticky
    And what if you want to autocomplete passwords? I am using similar thing here... I am using Div (id=loginButton) and it has some image - I don't want button control in MVC application (), neither image button. I have hidden input control which is hidden button actually (id=submit_btn). So, on div's (id=loginButton) click, I want to call hidden input control (id=submit_btn) and it's submit action. HTML: <div id="loginButton" > </div> <input type="submit" style="display:none" name="submit" id="submit_btn" /> And JQuery: $(document).ready(function() { $('#loginButton').click(function() { $('#LoginForm').submit(); }); $("form[action$='HandleLoginForm']").submit(function() { Login(); return false; }); return false; }); Function Login() is working with Ajax, without downloading file dialog, but I need also auto complete passwords dialog. function Login() { var urlData = $("#LoginForm").serialize(); if (returnUrl != "") { urlData = $("#LoginForm").serialize() + "&returnUrl=" + returnUrl; } $.ajax({ url: $("#LoginForm").attr("action"), type: "POST", data: urlData, dataType: "json", success: function(result) { if (result.Content != null) { if (result.Valid) { window.location = result.Content.toString(); } else { document.body.innerHTML = result.Content.toString(); } } } }); return false; } It is easy when you use only <input type="submit"> instead of DIV. Form knows that it is for auto completing passwords, but if I use div and force hidden button click like in the code from below, it doesn't show autocomplete password dialog. $('#submit_btn').click(); It will not work. User is logged in, but no reminding for browser to store password. I need this.

  • Can't access annotation property of subclassed uibutton

    - by Tzur Gazit
    I have a mapView to which I add annotations. The pin's callout have a button (rightCalloutAccessoryView). In order to be able to display various information when the button is pushed, i've subclassed uibutton and added a class called "Annotation". @interface CustomButton : UIButton { NSIndexPath *indexPath; Annotation *mAnnotation; } @property (nonatomic, retain) NSIndexPath *indexPath; @property (nonatomic, copy) Annotation *mAnnotation; - (id) setAnnotation2:(Annotation *)annotation; @end Here is "Annotation": @interface Annotation : NSObject <MKAnnotation> { CLLocationCoordinate2D coordinate; NSString *mPhotoID; NSString *mPhotoUrl; NSString *mPhotoName; NSString *mOwner; NSString *mAddress; } @property (nonatomic, assign) CLLocationCoordinate2D coordinate; @property (nonatomic, copy) NSString *mPhotoID; @property (nonatomic, copy) NSString *mPhotoUrl; @property (nonatomic, copy) NSString *mPhotoName; @property (nonatomic, copy) NSString *mOwner; @property (nonatomic, copy) NSString *mAddress; - (id) initWithCoordinates:(CLLocationCoordinate2D)coordinate; - (id) setPhotoId:(NSString *)id url:(NSString *)url owner:(NSString *)owner address:(NSString *)address andName:(NSString *)name; @end I want to set the annotation property of the uibutton at - (MKAnnotationView *)mapView:(MKMapView *)pMapView viewForAnnotation:(id )annotation, in order to refer to it at the button push handler (-(IBAction) showDetails:(id)sender). The problem is that I can't set the annotation property of the button. • Applying the Hibernate filter attribute to a Bag with a many-to-many relationship

    - by David P
    Consider the following Hibernate mapping file: <hibernate-mapping ...> <class name="ContentPackage" table="contentPackages"> <id name="Id" column="id" type="int"><generator class="native" /></id> ... <bag name="Clips" table="contentAudVidLinks"> <key column="fk_contentPackageId"></key> <many-to-many class="Clip" column="fk_AudVidId"></many-to-many> <filter name="effectiveDate" condition=":asOfDate BETWEEN startDate and endDate" /> </bag> </class> </hibernate-mapping> When I run the following command: _session.EnableFilter("effectiveDate").SetParameter("asOfDate", DateTime.Today); IList<ContentPackage> items = _session.CreateCriteria(typeof(ContentPackage)) .Add(Restrictions.Eq("Id", id)) .List<ContentPackage>(); The resulting SQL has the WHERE clause on the intermediate mapping table (contentAudVidLinks), rather than the "Clips" table even though I have added the filter attribute to the Bag of Clips. What am I doing wrong?

  • jQuery inconsistent .remove by class on element with multiple classes

    - by pedalpete
    I've got a page where messages and associated elements (responses, forwards, etc) all share a class based on the database id of the parent. For example this is a message this is another message this is a comment this is another comment tim posted a new message sara forwarded a message to john at times I need to remove all elements with the same id, so I originally had jQuery('div#'+id).remove(); but that would sometimes not remove all the ids because ids are supposed to be unique. So I added the id as a class. now I use jQuery('div.'+id).remove(); but this seems to be about 80% effective, and sometimes the divs aren't being removed. I'm not sure if the issue is because the div has more than one class, but I need the classes because that is how I refer to the elements when somebody clicks. For instance, jQuery('div.message').click(function(){ get the id, send it to the server and get the message }); is there something wrong I'm doing here? or is there a better way to do this?

  • jQuery : add css class to menu item based on browser scroller position

    - by antosha
    Hi, I have a menu: <ul class="menu-bottom"> <li id="m1" class="active"><a id="1" href="#"><span>Link 1</span></a></li> <li id="m2"><a id="2" href="#"><span>Link 2</span></a></li> <li id="m3"><a id="3" href="#"><span>Link 3</span></a></li> </ul> I want that depending of browser's scroller position, the "active" class goes the correct < li element. This is how I see it : if ($(document).height() == 500) { $('#m1').parent().addClass('active'). siblings().removeClass('active'); } if ($(document).height() == 1000) { $('#m2').parent().addClass('active'). siblings().removeClass('active'); } if ($(document).height() == 1500) { $('#m2').parent().addClass('active'). siblings().removeClass('active'); } I am not very familiar with jQuery Dimensions properties so this code doesn't make much sense, but I hope you get the idea. If someone could tell me how to make this work, it would be really cool. Thanks :)

  • Can't empty JS array....

    - by solefald
    Yes, I am having issues with this very basic (or so it seems) thing. I am pretty new to JS and still trying to get my head around it, but I am pretty familiar with PHP and have never experienced anything like this. I just can not empty this damn array, and stuff keeps getting added to the end every time i run this. I have no idea why, and i am starting to think that it is somehow related to the way chekbox id's are named, but i may be mistaking.... id="alias[1321-213]", id="alias[1128-397]", id="alias[77-5467]" and so on. I have tried sticking checkboxes = []; and checkboxes.length = 0; In every place possible. Right after the beginning of the function, at the end of the function, even outside, right before the function, but it does not help, and the only way to empty this array is to reload the page. Please tell me what I am doing wrong, or at least point me to a place where i can RTFM. I am completely out of ideas here. function() { var checkboxes = new Array(); checkboxes = $(':input[name="checkbox"]'); $.each(checkboxes, function(key, value) { console.log(value.id); alert(value.id); } ); checkboxes.length = 0; } I have also read Mastering Javascript Arrays 3 times to make sure I am not doing something wrong, but still can't figure it out....

  • Form not sending full data

    - by gAMBOOKa
    I have a form with over 50 input fields. The input fields are divided into 5 jquery jabs within the form container. Here's a sample of what it looks like: <form action="admin/save" method="post" enctype="multipart/form-data"> <input type="hidden" name="type" value="department" /> <input type="hidden" name="id" value="21" /> <div id="tabs"> <ul> <li><a href="#tab-1">Tab 1</a><li> <li><a href="#tab-2">Tab 2</a><li> <li><a href="#tab-3">Tab 3</a><li> </ul> <div id="tab-1"> <label>Name</label> <input type="text" name="user-name" /> </div> <div id="tab-2"> <label>Address</label> <input type="text" name="user-address" /> </div> <div id="tab-3"> <label>Phone</label> <input type="text" name="user-phone" /> </div> </div> <input type="submit" value="Send" /> </form> I'm using PHP's Kohana framework, so admin maps to a controller, and save maps to the method action_save. When I output the $_POST variables in action_save, only 'type' and 'id' show up, all the other fields don't seem to submit their data. What could I be doing wrong?

  • jquery pagination plugin problem

  • How to associate static entity instances in a Session without database retrieval

    - by Michael Hedgpeth
    I have a simple Result class that used to be an Enum but has evolved into being its own class with its own table. public class Result { public static readonly Result Passed = new Result(StatusType.Passed) { Id = [Predefined] }; public static readonly Result NotRun = new Result(StatusType.NotRun) { Id = [Predefined] }; public static readonly Result Running = new Result(StatusType.Running) { Id = [Predefined] }; } Each of these predefined values has a row in the database at their predefined Guid Id. There is then a failed result that has an instance per failure: public class FailedResult : Result { public FailedResult(string description) : base(StatusType.Failed) { . . . } } I then have an entity that has a Result: public class Task { public Result Result { get; set; } } When I save a Task, if the Result is a predefined one, I want NHibernate to know that it doesn't need to save that to the database, nor does it need to fetch it from the database; I just want it to save by Id. The way I get around this is when I am setting up the session, I call a method to load the static entities: protected override void OnSessionOpened(ISession session) { LockStaticResults(session, Result.Passed, Result.NotRun, Result.Running); } private static void LockStaticResults(ISession session, params Result[] results) { foreach (var result in results) { session.Load(result, result.Id); } } The problem with the session.Load method call is it appears to be fetching to the database (something I don't want to do). How could I make this so it does not fetch the database, but trusts that my static (immutable) Result instances are both up to date and a part of the session?
