    Hello. So continue from this: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2715295/linking-how-php-html Please check the answer i accepted, and i used the "BASEDIR" solution zneak came with. Now i ran onto another problem.. in my ajax_framework.js i have: $.ajax({url: "session.php", success: function(data){ how should i include BASEDIR onto this? i was thinking something about: $.ajax({url: "'.BASEDIR.'session.php", success: function(data){ but this isnt PHP, so i think you cant? no? any help or maybe another method to come around this?

  • Javascript adding two numbers incorrectly

    Global.alert("base: " + base + ", upfront: " + upfront + ", both: " + (base + upfront)); This code above outputs this: base: 15000, upfront: 36, both: 1500036 Why is it joining the two numbers instead of adding them up? I eventually want to set the value of another field to this amount using this: mainPanel.feesPanel.initialLoanAmount.setValue(Ext.util.Format.number((base + upfront), '$0,000.00')); ...and when I try that now it turns the number into the millions instead of 15,036.00. I have no idea why. Any ideas?

I have the form action set to another page.

  • Odd toString behavior in javascript

    I have this small function that's behaving oddly to me. Easy enough to work around, but enough to pique my curiosity. function formatNumber(number,style) { if (typeof style == 'number') { style = style.toString(); } return (number).format(style); } The return format part is based on another function that requires the style variable to be a string to work properly, so I'm just checking if style is a number and if it is to convert it to a string. When the function above is written as is, the format function format doesn't work properly. However when I write it as simply: return (number).format(style.toString()); Everything works. Is there a difference between putting the .toString function inside the format call vs performing it before hand and setting it as the variable style?

    Hi, I am using this code to refresh the data inside of the div: <script> $(function() { $("#refresh").click(function() { $("#new").load("/new.php") }) }) </script> Except it loads the who page inside of the div, instead of just the information that is inside of the div. How do I make it refresh only the data that is inside of the div? Is there a way of doing it other than putting the information for that div in a seperate page?
