• How to solve this problem in Vaadin Table?

  Hi Friends, I used Vaadin Table component in my application and i set a page length to 15, Length of the Table is not consistent in different screens resolutions . For example in 1440 x 900 resolution height of the table is big but in 1280 x 1024 resolution the height of the table is less . I don't know how to solve this problem.Can any one help me to sort out this problem. Thanks in advance.

• Question about Linux Device Drivers.

  I have just installed the Xubuntu. My box runs quite slower than before when installed with a Win7. I am wondering if I am missing some device drivers. I can use gnome-device-manager to list my devices. In the device list view, I saw several blue question mark on the left side of devices. Based on my windows experience, the question mark should indicate the device is not properly configured. Is it the same with gnome-device-manager? And most importantly, how could I know for sure whether or not the corresponding device drivers have been installed? Many thanks.

  Imagine a photo, with the face of a building marked out. Its given that the face of the building is a rectangle, with 90 degree corners. However, because its a photo, perspective will be involved and the parallel edges of the face will converge on the horizon. With such a rectangle, is it possible to calculate the angle in 2D of the edges of a face that is 90 degrees to it? In the image below, the blue is the face marked on the photo, and I'm wondering how to calculate the 2D vector of the red lines of the other face:

• remove Annotation removes random amount of annotations at a time

  I've got this code to erase an annotations (pins) in my mkmapview without erasing my blue dot (userLocation). The problem is that it erasing the pins I've added in seemingly random numbers. when it's called through an IBAction it removes the first 5 then click again it removes the next 3, then the next 2, then the last one.   Hi, I want to store multiple column values in table.Lets take a example .. What are your favourite colors? the choices can be red,blue,green, orange. So lets assume, the user selects atleast 2 values. Is there any way to store the multiple values in table. I have implemented by concatinating choices of users in a column in the table. I later found that it is a bad practise. Currently i can think of using Bitwise operator and habtm. What are the different ways for storing multiple choices values in table?   Hello, I'm working on an isometric game for fast browsers that support <canvas>, which is great fun. To save information of each tile, I use a two-dimensional array which contains numbers representing a tile ID, like: var level = [[1, 1, 1, 2, 1, 0], [0, 1, 1, 2, 0, 1], [0, 1, 1, 2, 1, 1]]; var tiles = [ {name: 'grass', color: 'green'}, {name: 'water', color: 'blue'}, {name: 'forest', color: 'ForestGreen'} ]; So far it works great, but now I want to work with heights and slopes like in this picture: For each tile I need to save it's tile ID, height and information about which corners are turned upward. I came up with a simple idea about a bitwise representation of all four corners, like this: 1011 // top, bottom and left corner turned up My question is: what is the most efficient way to save these three values for each cell? Is it possible to save these three values as one integer?

One page relies on a big .NET UserControl that on the new machine renders only as a big, greyed out textarea (greyed out vertical scrollbar on the right hand edge. Inspecting the source shows the expected object tag.) This is particularly tricky because nobody seems to know much about hosted UserControls and all the discussions data back to 2002-2004. • showing current location ,along with another location in iphone

  hellow all, in xcode whenever we load a mapview ,it automaticallay shows the current user location right. In my case i am showing another location on map ,such that the map loads the current location and zoomed to the location i have given .. but, the current location point was not showing (the blue one which comes automaticay..). i have given mapView.showCurrentLocation=TRUE; but its not showing . so could any one tells the way it works and it should say the current location mark and then zoomed to the point i have given.   How should I be using color in my application? I have over a 100 different forms (windows) in my application, and the default windows grey seems like a bad choice to me. One school of thought says pick one neutral color, and use the same one everywhere. Another school of thought says pick a set of neutral colors, and use them same ones within a group of form (e.g., shipping screens might be light green, receiving screens light orange, user administration screens light blue, etc.). The final school of thought says make every form different. We've got millions of colors, why not use them? What should I do and why?
