  • Redirect in combination with a rewrite condition in htaccess

    Hi all! I've got a cms-driven website, with no option to change the code. What I want to accomplish is creating friendly url's, using only apaches mod-rewrite engine. The problem is I'm creating an infinite loop, because I first redirect the original url (index.php?id=21) to a friendly one (/friendly/) and then rewrite the '/friendly' part back to 'id=21' I know there should be an extra condition or parameter to avoid looping in this case, but I can´t get one of the possible solutions to work.   • SharePoint Designer: how do I disable auto insertion of image size attributes?

    I'm hand-editing HTML files in a plain text editor (vim) via SharePoint Designer. Problem is, as soon as I save the files, SharePoint automatically adds width and height attributes to all the img-tags. Anyone know if it's possible to disable this "feature"? I don't want it to mess around with my code. Yeah, shouldn't be using SharePoint Designer then, I know - problem is that's not an option.

I've seldom found a reason to use this particular language feature, and had never given much thought to how it might cause trouble. Now, I'm curious as to how I might make effective use of with, while avoiding its pitfalls... So my question is, where have you found the with statement useful?

When the user opens the view he should see the image with the four blue dots which enable him to resize it. Is there an available example for this?     I am trying to declare a class B in a namespace A using Luabind (from the Lua side). I figure that if Luabind has a clean way to do this, it would look something like this: class 'A.B' (Super) function A.B:__init() Super.__init(self) end Notice that the B class is defined in the A table. I know the following hackish way of doing this: class 'A.B' (Super) A = {} A.B = _G['A.B'] However, I would really like to know if Luabind provides this feature explicitly.

    This is regarding the gateway XEP 0100 support in Openfire. I have noticed that for some transports, they are auto-signed in once a connection to openfire succeeds (via the xmpp user). This applies specifically to QQ. How does one turn off this auto-signin feature ? Basically from a client perspective, I want to be able to signin selectively. So when I create an XMPPConnection to openfire, all transports should remain signed off until I send directed Presences to transports.

    Here's my scenario. I have a web site, which automatically posts updates to Twitter using cURL at the moment. But I hear Twitter is going to turn this feature off and move to OAuth. I tried implementing OAuth in my site, but the user actually has to manually authenticate before being able to post anything to twitter. How can I use OAuth and still let my website post updates automatically, without me having to manually click on "authenticate"?

    Firstly, I would like to say I think StackOverflow is a really great website, not just from a content perspective, but from a design perspective. The UI is designed in a way that makes it easy to use and the points are great incentives to be a productive part of the community. I was wondering, is there a part of the site, or maybe is there plans to make a new site, which is not programming driven. Like a general knowledge site but with StackOverflow as the engine. I use sites like Yahoo Answer! and they can be useful. But I think the main difference between Stack Overflow and Yahoo Answer is that Yahoo Answer encourages content indiscriminately, whereas Stack Overflow is disciplined enough that it only encourages content that are helpful or useful. I find it great that I can load up a question and the best answer pops up immediately, and the bad answers are voted down. Thanks

    I am trying to map an entity in NHibernate, that should have an Updated column. This should be the DateTime when the entity was last written to the database (either created or updated). I'd like NHibernate to control the update of the column, so I don't need to remember to set a property to the current time before updating. Is there a built-in feature in NHibernate, that can handle this for me ?

    I'm using the nice feature in QMessageBox to optionally show detailed text to the user. However, the window after expansion is still fairly small, and one immediately tries to resize the window so more of the details are visible. Even after setting what I think are the proper settings it won't allow resizing. Here's the relevant snippet of PyQt4 code: mb = QMessageBox() mb.setText("Results written to '%s'" % filename) mb.setDetailedText(str(myData)) mb.setSizePolicy(QSizePolicy.Expanding, QSizePolicy.Expanding) mb.setSizeGripEnabled(True) Am I missing a step and/or is this at all possible?

  • How to translate product name and info in Magento

    Hi everybody, Magento provide translation feature, a nice one for e-commerce platform. But it seems to me that the translation is only for the predefined magento keyword, like 'add to cart', 'add to wishlist' etc and not for the product name, info, and description that the user input to the store. Does anybody know how to implement this?? Any help would be much appreciated Thanks! :)
