  I'm trying to install the Java Enterprise Edition 6 on my workstation. I downloaded the installer from the Sun website. Whenever I get to the option in the installer "JDK Selection" I'm told to manually select a JDK. I gave it my path (C:\IBM\rad7\jdk\), and was told it is invalid. What do I need to do to successfully install JEE6?

  I'm new to java and i'm trying to find a way of incrementing through an user input IP address range. For example from 192.168.0.1 to 192.168.0.255. However the way my application works at the moment is the take the from and to ip addresses as a String. Is there a way I can increment through all the ip addresses the user input from and to? I have converted my application into a windows servise.   I have a Java applet, which is a form that draw shapes into it (Rect, Oval, Line). Each shape is represented by 2 points and can draw itself to the form.   I was wondering if it's possible to have a java package setup using a different subversion repository than the rest. Ideally, I would probably go with a different library project, but in the case of BlackBerry, the 3rd party library linking does not work well, so I would like to just separate my UI package into a different repository than the rest so that I can control the UI better for different OS versions, but leave all the other packages the same.
