  • Message passing chrome extension

    I wants to create an extension where content script will send message to background page and then on browser action means clicking on extension icon will access that background page and get some data.I am using chrome Version 23.0.1271.64 m on windows8. I am getting following error. Port error: Could not establish connection. Receiving end does not exist. I tried to solve the same. but people are using sendRequest which is not supported by chrome20+. i also found solution mentioned for chrome 20+. But not working. Please help. Similarly, i also need to add a new column as log of sales, I tried df['logSales'] = math.log(df['Sales']), again, it did not work.

    I recently changed my root password, but when I restart Ldap (openldap-2.2.13) I couldn't log in with Ldap users to any application that is on this server. in /var/log/httpd/ssl_error_log I can find a lot of error like: [Tue Jun 01 02:27:24 2010] [warn] [client 89.138.98.214] [26762] auth_ldap authenticate: user foo authentication failed; URI /svn-clients/clients/myclient/ [LDAP: ldap_simple_bind_s() failed][Can't contact LDAP server] I guess there is a linkage between user root and the Ldap configuration, I also changed the rootpw entry in slapd.conf, but this doesn't seem to make things better.

    I have a wall application using WebRTC DataChannels. In the code I've managed to work out the connection, but I'm not getting notified when a peer disconnects.   • Write failed, errno 0

    I have a client server situation in which I receive data using read(socket, char_buf, BUF_SIZE) and then try to write it into a log file using write(filefd, char_buf, strlen(char_buf)) Strangely enough this fails (write returns -1), and yet the errno is set to 0, and I can print the message, AND the log file descriptor works (I write to it before and after this command). What's going on?? (Working on Linux kernel 2.4 (homework))

    So I am a total cakephp newb and one of the first things I expected to see basic info about each page request logged. More specifically, what route data including what controller/method is being used. Obviously I did not find what I was expecting and about the only kind of meaning info I can find is from the apache logs. What I expected was to see something similar to first log entry for a rails app request. Does cakephp not log this kind of data?
