  • calling javascript function inside orkut iframe

    Hi guys, I'm having a web game loaded in orkut application via iframe so there are the orkut iframe and mine iframe inside the xml. Everything is ok, but now I need to have a button for inviting some friends and wall posts from some features. I didn't find a way for including the orkut javascript in the game's code so the first thing that pops into my mind was to call a custom function in the xml by using: window.parent.myFunction(); but it gives me error: permission denied. I've tried some other ways of reaching that function but the error is the same. Does anybody know a way of doing that or this can't be done ?

    Hi, is there any how how to pass function as a parameter when starting program in C? I am implementing app for integral aproximation, and all I need is to type a function I want to work with, when starting app. I tried (e.g.) 2/(2+2*x), but I only get back "2". When I write to application directly, there is no problem. Is there any simple way of getting this? Maybe redistribute it to more parametres? Like app.c number number*x number *x*x number *x*x*x... ? Thanks

    I know this. Calling C function from C++: If my application was in C++ and I had to call functions from a library written in C. Then I would have used //main.cpp extern "C" void C_library_function(int x, int y);//prototype C_library_function(2,4);// directly using it. This wouldn't mangle the name C_library_function and linker would find the same name in its input *.lib files and problem is solved. Calling C++ function from C??? But here I'm extending a large application which is written in C and I need to use a library which is written in C++. Name mangling of C++ is causing trouble here. Linker is complaining about the unresolved symbols. Well I cannot use C++ compiler over my C project because thats breaking lot of other stuff. What is the way out? By the way I'm using MSVC

    Hi! I'm looking for a tool that will tell/resolve for every function all the call paths (call it "routes") to it. For example: void deeper(int *pNumber) { *pNumber++; } void gateA(int *pNumber) { deeper(pNumber); } void gateB(int *pNumber) { gateA(pNumber); } void main() { int x = 123; gateA(&x); gateB(&x); } See? I need a tool that will tell me all the routes to deeper(), and more if possible. By saying "more" I mean that it will tell me if the pointer is the same as been provided to the calling function. The compiler already has the signature of the function which the subclass will override, then why a redeclaration is required? Any insights.

  • Calling a function in a JavaScript file with Selenium IDE

    So, I'm running these Selenium IDE tests against a site I'm working on. Everything about the tests themselves is running fine, except I would like to do a bit of clean-up once I'm done. In my MVC3 Razor based site, I have a JavaScript file with a function that gets a JsonResult from a Controller of mine. That Controller handles the database clean-up that Selenium IDE otherwise couldn't handle. However, I'm having a hard time finding any sort of documentation on how to do this. I know I can do JavaScript{ myJavascriptGoesHere } as one of the Values for a line in the test, but I can't seem to find a way to tell it to go find my clean-up function. Is it even possible for Selenium IDE to do this sort of thing? If it comes down to it, I can just make a separate View to handle the clean-up, but I'd really like to avoid that if possible. Thanks!

Before calculation takes place: Make sure all three select values are changed before function(F) takes place. If not prompt the user with a notice ( create dom element/ I am using jquery) b. After the value R is calculated show an element corresponding to the result e.g. if R is 1 show an element ( a predetermined "link" element corresponding to each result value) thanks a lot.

    For the sanity of my users, I want a 'mouseover' event to run after the selector has been hovered for half a second rather than as soon as they hover it. I first tried a setTimeout function but that runs however long the element has been hovered, I didn't think it through too much I guess. I've also spent a day (on and off) searching (and playing Pacman) ti no result, unless I'm searching for the wrong things.     Hi guys, I am having a javascript written like this. imageDiv.onclick = function(){xyz.deleteImage(param1, param2);return false;}; Now things are fine in Firefox, Chrome and Safari. But I have a strange issue in Internet Explorer. What happens is, when I click on the imageDiv in my page, the deleteImage() method is getting invoked twice. One being the actual deleteimage() method thats given here and another is the deleteimage() method that I have in the page. How to resolve this issue. Please help.
