  • CMS Layout Problem

    - by Sebi
I made a small page (http://www.ovlu.li) using CMS Made Simple (http://www.cmsmadesimple.org/). It looks more or less okay in all browser, but the problem is, if a resize the window to a smaller size, sometimes the layout of the subnavigation layer is destroyed. Instead of getting smaller, all the elements are ordered more or less randomly. Any hints why?

  • iphone app rejection question

    - by adam d.
My iPhone app was rejected with the following note: "The following non-public APIs are included in your application: Spi Symbols __memset_chk __memmove_chk" These symbols appear in a small number of apparently cocos2d related object files: Grid.o Primitives.o TextureAtlas.o Curiously, this app had already been approved under the previous SDK, but under 3.2 it's being rejected, though that may have nothing to do with it. I'm not at all sure how to resolve this and appreciate any help anyone can offer. Thanks.

  • Programming mobile devices

    - by sax
I love desktop and web programming, but I would like to be able to program some sort of small device I can then carry with me. Most mobile phones are quite hard to create programs for as they want you to buy the things they offer instead. What mobile-phone/gameboy size devices would be suitable for my goal?

  • How do I make image hyperlinks have a background image?

    - by Richard

Actually all links to images, ie .gif .png as well with the same icon. If the link is to a website, ie .htm/.php/.html/.asp it should have a different image. I want it to be through classes in CSS. Any help appreciated. TIA

  • How to figure out if two CGRect intersect?

    - by mystify
In -drawRect: I want to check if the provided rect intersects with anotherRect. I'm not good at this geometry math stuff and especially at english so what I want to say is: If you have two sheets of paper on the desk, and one of them covers the other either completely or just a small portion, it is rectsIntersect = YES. How to check that out for rect and anotherRect?

  • Do not filter outlinks in Nutch?

    - by sigpwned
I'm currently trying to perform a deep crawl within a small list of sites. To accomplish this, I updated conf/domain-urlfilter.txt with the domains of the sites I wish to scrape, which worked nicely. However, I found that not only were the links crawled at every step filtered, but the outlinks captured from each page crawled were filtered as well. Is there a way to avoid filtering captured outlinks while still filtering crawled URLs?

  • Compile a PHP script in Linux

    - by Botto
I know php scripts don't actually compile until they are run. However say I want to create a small simple program and compile it to a binary without requiring the php binary. How could I do this? I'v seen a few IDE's out there that would do this, but either they are all for windows or the linux versions don't actually build properly. What I would like is something like py2exe that does it in the script itself.

  • Problem with dojo tree

    - by Ewout
Hello, I'm trying to get the dojo tree widget working. It works with a small json object, but when i try it with a large json object it goes wrong. There is no error, just the root node. Is this a normal behavior? Is there a maximum of objects you can load? My json object contains around 800 entries. Thanks, Ewout

  • How can I avoid huge communication classes in WCF?

    - by mafutrct
My understanding is that all contract-implementing code has to be in a single class, that can become very large, obviously. How do I avoid this? I really prefer to have a few small classes doing one part of the communication with clients than a single behemoth class. The only idea I could think of is using multiple interfaces implemented by a single class split up by partial, but I don't this this is really solving the issue.

  • Swing: easiest way to align width of [dynamic][static][dynamic] components?

    - by java.is.for.desktop
What is the easiest way in standard Java Swing to align three components in such a way that: the dynamic widths of Component1 and Component3 are adjusted to be equal, while Component2 (which is in between) has constant width? Imagine we have some resizable JPanel (such as inside a JFrame). Small width should look like this: [----------------whole JPanel----------------] [--Component1--] [Component2] [--Component3--] Big width should look like this: [------------------------whole JPanel------------------------] [------Component1------] [Component2] [------Component3------] Note: I just "trialed-and-errored" with GroupLayout for too long.
