  • I'm new one in Android and HELP :)

    Hello everyone , I'd started for about a mouth and I have some problems now :( 1. I create a TabActivity and it has three Activity(tab1,tab2,tab3).I wanna realize that if I press a button in tab1,then TextView in tab2 can be changed. I've tried Intent and Bundle , but that didn't work and force close . Maybe because of the TabActivity I think . 2. If I have a layout and there are many TextView on it. But some are out of the screen. How can I scroll the screen? 3. Is it possible that TextView in Tablelayout can be clicked ? I've sreached there problems on Google for there days but still bother me . Really need help, Thanks :)

  • Dealbreakers for new programming jobs?

    What might be said or implied at an interview or job posting that should set off alarm bells for a coder? I'm still only a few years in the industry but I already know to look out for excessive red tape and bureaucracy. Cubes and a noisy office also tell me that I'll be both miserable and unproductive and that management does not appreciate what coders need to work well. Edit: The way things are going I'm taking extra time to look at the company's stability. If they depend on a single vendor for their livelihood and could be out of business if the vendor decides they don't really need the service or can do it in-house. What are your dealbreakers?

  • Copying a database into a new database including structure and data

    In phpMyAdmin under operations I can "Copy database to:" and select Structure and data CREATE DATABASE before copying Add AUTO_INCREMENT value I need to be able to do that without using phpMyAdmin. I know how to create the database and user. I have a source database that's a shell that I can work from so all I really need is the how to copy all the table structure and data part. (I know, the harder part) system() & exec() are not options for me which rules out mysqldump. (I think) How can I loop through each table and recreate it's structure and data? Is it just looping through the results of SHOW TABLES then for each table looping through DESCRIBE tablename Then, is there an easy way for getting the data copied?

  • Velocity Templates - New Line.

    Hello all, I've been working with Apache's Velocity engine and a custom template. The thing is, that I haven't been able to generate a String with the corresponding line breaks. I tried almost everything that I found, such as using $esc.n and $esc.newline (I'm already using escape tools on my project) but it seems that the version I'm currently using doesn't support it (1.4), checked if putting '\n', '\\n' and even '\\\n' would work, but same thing. Does anyone have any solution to this? Thanks a lot in advance! Regards.

  • Finding existing tickets before opening new ones on trac

    We're using Trac as the task management tool at the project we work in. However, Trac search is maybe not the most intuitive search out there, and we end up having multiple duplicates as the reporters can't effectively find if there already is a reported ticket of the question he or she found. Stack Overflow's "Related Questions" concept is great and works magnificently! I was wondering if someone has heard of some similar plugin to Trac, or if you have solved this problem some other way.

    Hi folks, Up until I updated to jquery-ui-1.8.10 (already using jQuery 1.5), the following code has worked as expected: case 'baseeditor': $('#tab1').html(responseText).fadeIn(500, function() { ... load the contents of the tab and stuff... }); $("#prolearn").tabs("select",1); break; case ... The tab is fueled and then focus is moved from tab0 (from where the ajax call is initiated) to tab1. Now, that code won't work, but this version does: case 'baseeditor': $("#prolearn").tabs("select",1); $('#tab1').html(responseText).fadeIn(500, function() { ... load the contents of the tab and stuff... }); break; case ...   • Display TableViews corresponding to segmentedControl in a single tableview without pushing a new view

    I have a tableViewController where I have used the Interface Builder to insert a Segmented Controller having two segments. Since by default, first segment is always selected, I am not facing any problem in displaying the tableview corresponding to first segment. However, when I click on the second segment, I want to display another tableView. Here goes the problem. I am calling newTableViewController class on clicking the second segment. Hence, this view is getting pushed instead. Please suggest me a method to have these two tableViews in the main tableView upon clicking the segments. I have used switch case for switching between the segments.     hi, i have a date in this format : dd.mm.yyyy when i instantiate a javascript date with it, it gives me a NaN in c# i can specify a dateformat, to say: here you have my string, it's in this format, please make a Datetime of it. is this possible in javascript too, and if not, is there an easy way? i would prefer not to use a substring for day, substring for month etc. because my method must also be capable of german, italian, english etc dates.

    Hello. I run an image hosting site. Lets just go with the following information. Site: imagehosting.com Tiny: imgho.st Directory: n/ Directory is where the images are stored. Anyways. I'm trying to figure out an apache rewrite method to redirect imgho.st to imagehosting.com UNLESS in the n/ directory. So unless the user is imgho.st/n/83md.png redirect to imagehosting.com.
