I am working on a project where I need to embed a web server into my C++ application. I am looking for an open-source library supporting SSL, written in C or C++ and with a licensing scheme that will allow me to link it into my existing closed source code. Any suggestions of specific products or where to look first?
I already have a project folder, with relevant files inside. I need to change the working directory in Visual studio to this project folder, I just can't find how to do it in Visual studio.
It seems I can only create a new project or open a solution file, but not set the working directory to the folder I want and start work on existing project. There is no solution file in the folder too.
I need write a live messenger plugin which periodically read messages from a remote http server, and then change my signature(the short message after my name) accordingly.
Can anyone point me to any open source project or materials where I can get started?
Thanks.

I need to write a custom batch File renamer. I've got the bulk of it done except I can't figure out how to check if a file is already open. I'm just using the java.io.File package and there is a canWrite() method but that doesn't seem to test if the file is in use by another program. Any ideas on how I can make this work?

if user asks for "United States", then the map
will open with setCenter of 2 0r 3.
but if he asks for "West Broadway NY"
then the map will automatically zoom into the neighborhood.
This works on google site, but it not obvious
how the API works.
Hi,
I found this menu and i like it but the client asks me to keep the current menu open with respect to a sub page. For example, if i go to Link One page, then it should be opened by default.
Is there any way to do this?
In other words, is it possible during a call to allow the user to open a certain application? (for example, to provide information based on the person who is calling).
If not, will something like this be available on iOS 4?
Hi all,
Does anyone have an idea what do the mind mapping applications use for drawing: Quartz 2D or Open GL? What would be the best way to implement this kind of application? Any advice is welcomed!

If I have a file that contains a complete path for a file, is there a way to highlight the filename (using visual mode) and open the file? (preferably in a split screen)
As I think about it, here is what I would like: if the file name contains a / character, assume it is a full path (IE the 'current directory' is root). Otherwise, use the current folder (IE default behavior) Is this possible?
I'm looking for a remote desktop client that works as a webapp, similar to Citrix or WebEx. Are there any open-source projects that do this? Need to mainly to be able to access Windows machines using a regular browser.
Thanks!
I have a JMenu with a JMenuItem, and when I click on this, I need to open a JFrame or window, in other words a component with inside JButton, JTextField,...
How can i do this ?
Open App.Path & "\Folder\" & str(0) For Output
Seems to get a path not found however if directly before that I do
MsgBox App.Path & "\Folder\" & str(0)
It Provides the correct directory/filename that I want
and if I replace that string with the direct path in quotes it works fine however that won't be very good for other users of my app :( Anyone know why this doesn't work?
Hi there,
Is it possible to hide .svn files in the Open Resource dialog (Ctrl + Shift + R) of Eclipse?
It's very annoying when you have hundreds of files...

Are there any good (preferably PHP) open source scripts that I use to measure download/upload speeds? Something like speedtest.net but without Flash.
Basically, I want to put up a 'broadband speed test' website. I found this but is there anything better already available?
Thanks!
