• CopyLZFileName/CreateLZFileName.. what does LZ means?

  I am gathering small information regarding kernel dll functions.. and I found this function called CopyLZFileName/CreateLZFileName and some other functions related to this LZ.. I googled for it.. I cant find a proper source for it. From the name I guess it copies/creates file but am not sure what kind of file.. does LZ mean something to it. Please let me know.

• Setting the size of a ContentPane (inside of a JFrame)

  Hello, I want to set the size of a JFrame such that the contentPane is the desired size. JFrame.setSize() doesn't take the window decorations into account, so the contentPane is slightly too small. The size of the window decorations are platform and theme specific, so it's bad news to try to manually account for them. JFrame.getContentPane().setSize() fails because it's managed. Ideas? Thanks!

  Hi, I have written a small program where the program works differently on different operating systems (xp, win7) The problem is the program reads some float numbers such 2,686. One operating system (win7) convert it to float true, but on xp it goes wrong and print it 2686. How can I understand which symbol the operation system uses for decimal numbers ? Thanks.

  I am trying to make a ranking manager for a small project.The totals are stored in the database.I can easily get the max and min using mysql and also arrange the records descending.The problem comes in when there is a tie.I need to show a tie in the form:1,2,3,3,4,5,6,7,7,7,7, etc.The repeated numbers will show the ties.I have been thinking of ways of achieving the above but i need more ideas;mine is seems long and complicated.
