  • boolean in java: what am I doing wrong?

    Hello, I am trying to make my boolean value work. I am new at programming java so I must be missing something simple. I am trying to make it so that if one of the tire pressures is below 35 or over 45 the system outputs "bad inflation" For class me must use a boolean which is what I tried.     My printers don't support automatic duplex printing. I'm looking for a solution for my Mac and Linux computers that I've seen with most Windows printer drivers: Check "Manual duplex" in the printer screen Printer starts printing one side A dialog appears, asking me to flip the pages Printer prints the other side. One thing I can do, is print odd pages, then reopen the dialog and print even pages, but this is very inconvenient, especially when I only want to print a certain page range of the document as the Mac dialog forgets my previous page range every time. It gets even more inconvenient, when printing 2-up double sided, or when changing additional settings for this one printout. Is there maybe some tool, that can do this? Or maybe a "virtual printer driver" that can sit somewhere between the dialog and the actual printer driver, which manages these steps? (The Windows tool http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FinePrint can do something like that, but I don't need all of its features - and I need it on Mac/Linux) Thanks, Chris

Support for more than one package archive (so people can choose between many/tested packages). Dependency calculated based on required features only. Dependencies take particular versions into account. Only use versions that have been released upstream. Use versions from version control systems if available. Packages are categorized. Packages can be uninstalled and updated not only installed. Support creating fork of upstream version of packages. Support publishing these forks. Support choosing a fork. After installation packages are activated. Generate autoloads. Integration with Emacswiki (see wikirel.el). Users can tag, comment ... packages and share that information. Only FSF-assigned/GPL/FOSS software or don't care about license. Package manager should be integrated in Emacs. Support contacting author. Lots of metadata. Suggest alternatives before installing a particular package.     I have a table (innodb) that will have billions of records eventually. Every 2nd week I expect ~ 500K records to get dropped into the table. I would want to partition this table based on the date on which the data is imported - luckily this is a field in the table that is of the format yyyy-mm-dd - Is it possible to partition it based on this date column ? I tried looking at the 18th chapter of mysql docs but couldn't figure out if this is possible. -tia

  • How to calculate CIDR notation from entries in a routing table

    I have some entries in a routing table that were created using longest prefix matching, and I have to use those entries to determine the a.b.c.d/x notation (CIDR). This is an example entry: 11001000 00010111 00010. That was calculated from the range 11001000 00010111 00010000 00000000 through 11001000 00010111 00010111 11111111. I know the range is from IP addresses 200.23.16.0 to 200.23.23.255, but getting the /x for the subnet # doesn't make sense to me. Anyone know how to properly go about calculating it?

  • Firewall software that can block access to certain applications on certain internet connections

    I have two internet connections, a LAN and a 3G modem on a Windows 7 machine. The LAN is connected to a Edimax router which is conneted to the ISP (with their own modem). Now, the Edimax router is set to auto assign IP adresses in the range: 168.192.2.100 and 192.168.2.200 I wanted to block internet explorer to access the LAN. I entered my AVG firewall, selected iexplorer and added a "block" rule which blocked all ports, TCP and UDP protocols for the above IP range. The problem is it did not work, not matter what rules I have tried. Can you recommend a firewall that can easily accomplish this? Ty

  • How can I make WinXP bind to ports other than 1025-5000 for outgoing TCP connections?

    (I originally posted a similar question on StackOverflow but readers recommended I post here instead) When you create outgoing TCP connections, most applications let the operating system choose which port to use. Most OSes use the IANA recommended dynamic port range of 49152-65535 for this purpose. But in Windows 2003 and earlier (including XP) Microsoft uses ports 1025-5000. Microsoft lets you change the high end of this range via the MaxUserPort TcpIP registry setting, but I see no way to change the low end. I need to have port 4160 free for incoming connections and on rare occasions an outgoing connection steals that port from me before I bind that port.

  • Sonicwall settings for Polycom TFTP

    I'm switching our VoIP phones (Polycom 301s and 501s) to our data network. They were previously segmented to their own network. This means disabling the DHCP on the Trixbox (Asterisk) server and configuring the Sonicwall TZ 210 DHCP to indicate that Trixbox is the TFTP server. The Polycom phones are stating "could not contact boot server". All phones are configured to TFTP and were confirmed working when previously using the Trixbox server for DHCP. Trixbox DHCP is now turned off. I've configured options 66(as String), 128(as IP) and 150(as IP) in DHCP and added them to a TFTP Option Group. I've enabled "Allow BOOTP Clients to use Range" for the Dynamic IP range and assigned the Option Group TFTP as the DHCP Generic Option Group. Any idea what I'm missing? Is there a separate tool to inspect the DHCP response to compare Trixbox to the Sonicwall?

And I am trying to traverse from input.save at the bottom right the way up to div.node... This all works well with one copy of the markup but if I duplicate it (obvisouly changing the ID of the uppermost div.node and use jQuery.closest('div.node') for the upper of the div.node's it will return the element below it not the element above it (which is the right one). I've tried using parents() but that also has it's caveats.
