    Hi We have two servers, both are containing a local application connecting to local web service, applications and services are identical on both servers. One of the servers work just fine, The other one is just dead, I have impression the the security configuration are different on those servers. What prevents an application X from connecting a web-service, given that another application y on the same server can connect to it. and X is a windows service. What I should check, what is chances?     I recently discovered the GDB in Xcode which makes up for some functionality which IMHO seems to be lacking in Xcode. So I can do the following in GDB: (gdb) po [LoginManager sharedSession].loginToken 20D52FE9-3573-437E-9A65-846572B63726 However, I have another Service class, which is currently not loaded so I get the following error: (gdb) po [SessionService displaySessionInfoForToken:@"XXX"] No symbol "SessionService" in current context. I don't understand why the LoginManager can be loaded but not the SessionService.

  • Best way to delay access to static web pages until services become available with J2EE

    I have a J2EE application front-ended by a bunch of GWT pages. When the server is starting up, it is possible that these static pages can be accessed before the services required to implement the GWT RPC calls (database etc) are available. I wondering what the best approach is to prevent a user accessing this static content before these services become available. For the purpose of this exercise, assume that there is an isInitialized() method somewhere. I am happy with either a page displaying an error message or simply refusing the connection.

    I have a big problem. When I lauch my MapActivity this launch the ilegal argument. I think that i check all 1) add map.jar from api 3 to eclipse 2) I obtain a api key 3) In androidmanifest I have putted the uses-library and te internet permision 4) I launch the google api emulator for api 3. 5) I dont know that i can try. Please, any idea? this can't be too dificult, I can't belive. Sure that it is a stupid thing :S

    Hello everyone, If the title was not clear, I will try to clarify what I am asking: Imagine I have a variable called counter, I know I can see its current value by doing something like: std::cout << counter << std::endl; However, assume I have lots of variables and I don't know which I'm going to want to look at until runtime. Does anyone know a way I can fetch the value of a variable by using its name, for example: std::cout << valueOf("counter") << std::endl; I feel being able to do this might make debugging large complex projects easier.     Hi, my problem is that my variables are not working in javascript. all variables need names without some character at the beginning, this is the stupid thing...Anyways, im trying to make a funtion that makes "select all checkboxes". It is not working so i looked at the page source/info and found out that the variables were not changing. this is my input: echo "<input onclick='checkAll(1);' type='checkbox' name='master'/><br/>"; My function: function checkAll(i) { for(var i=1; i < <?php echo $num; ?>; i++) { if(document.demo.master[i].checked == true) { document.demo.message[i].checked = true; } else { document.demo.message[i].checked = false; } } } so yes that's it. I can tell you that i also tried without the <i> in: checkAll("i") Thanks for the help.   • Efficient way to access a mapping of identifiers in Python

    I am writing an app to do a file conversion and part of that is replacing old account numbers with a new account numbers. Right now I have a CSV file mapping the old and new account numbers with around 30K records. I read this in and store it as dict and when writing the new file grab the new account from the dict by key. My question is what is the best way to do this if the CSV file increases to 100K+ records? Would it be more efficient to convert the account mappings from a CSV to a sqlite database rather than storing them as a dict in memory?

  • Can not connect to SSIS access denied

    I am facing an issue while connecting to SSIS thru Mangament studio. I'm able to connect to SQL engine, Analysis services but not able to connect to SSIS. I use windows authentication. I tried steps given at http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa337083(SQL.90).aspx but no help. On one of the forum I saw that one needs to restart the MSDTC service, Do I need to do that? bcoz my SQL admin said I need to justify it by assuring that it doesn't affect aything else. Moreover we didn't find way to restart the service, where I can do that? please help. Thanks.

  • Boost Shared Pointer: Simultaneous Read Access Across Multiple Threads

    I have a thread A which allocates memory and assigns it to a shared pointer. Then this thread spawns 3 other threads X, Y and Z and passes a copy of the shared pointer to each. When X, Y and Z go out of scope, the memory is freed. But is there a possibility that 2 threads X, Y go out of scope at the exact same point in time and there is a race condition on reference count so instead of decrementing it by 2, it only gets decremented once. So, now the reference count newer drops to 0, so there is a memory leak. Note that, X, Y and Z are only reading the memory. Not writing or resetting the shared pointer. To cut a long story short, can there be a race condition on the reference count and can that lead to memory leaks?

Am I going out of the array bounds or something? Thank you!

    I have a small application which basically consists of an user-friendly CRUD interface to a few tables (and joined tables) It currently works with a MySQL database but I would like to make it available offline. My first thought was to create a SQLite "buffer" in between the MySQL database and the application, e.g. by executing all queries on the SQLite but also storing them in a log table so that they can be executed later in the main database with very basic conflict resolution (I will basically let the user solve it if a conflict is detected) Due to the simplicity of the application this shouldn't be too difficult and good exercise, but I think I would be re-inventing the wheel. So my question is: are there existing solutions or other approaches for this problem?

    I've been trying to learn Action Script 3 the past few weeks, making tiny interactive games to learn the basics. I stumble upon a problem every now and then but most of the times google helps me out. But this problem has got me stuck so please help: The main stage contains two objects(movieclips), the player and a wall. The player has got his own code so when I drag in the player object I don't have to write any code into the main stage to be able to move the player. This all worked pretty well and I now wanted to add the wall so the player actually has something to bounce into. Now here is the problem, I want to check if the player touches the wall, I've done this before but that was when I used the main stage as my coding playground instead of putting the code in movieclips. How can I check if the player hits the wall within the movement code of the player object?

    Hi, I'm trying to create a game with a 9x9 grid with GridView. Each item in the grid is a TextView. I am able to set the initial values of each item in the grid within the getView() method to "0", however I want to change the value of each grid individually after this but have been unable to do so. I tried adding an update() function in my extended GridAdapter class that takes a position and a number to update at that position but this doesnt seem to be working. public void update(int position, int number) { TextView cell; cell = (TextView) getItem(position); if (cell != null) { cell.setText(Integer.toString(number)); } } Doe anyone know how this can be achieved?
