  • Enable DLL compilation

    I have a VB.NET Project, and would like to, as with C# Projects, build and have dll files generated and dumped in the Bin/debug folder. Currently, I have the project configured for ANY CONFIGURATION and ALL CPUS but when I do a build, I still do not have a bin folder or a debug folder containing a DLL. What am I missing here please?   • How do I find where an exception was thrown in C++?

    I have a program that throws an uncaught exception somewhere. All I get is a report of an exception being thrown, and no information as to where it was thrown. It seems illogical for a program compiled to contain debug symbols not to notify me of where in my code an exception was generated. Is there any way to tell where my exceptions are coming from short of setting 'catch throw' in gdb and calling a backtrace for every single thrown exception?

    Hello Does anybody know how to process incoming emails for virtual mailboxes in postfix? I am building web application where users add new content by sending emails to application. Email address used for each user is custom (eg. [email protected]) and it is dynamically created as a Postfix virtual mailbox. User needs to be able to send email to his custom mailbox address ([email protected]) and i want to process each incoming email, parse it's contents and populate my database with data from email. I tried using Postfix After Queue filter but what i really wont is to process emails once they are saved in users virtual mailbox folder.

    I am using MySQL server 5.1.45. And I am having a procedure with huge business logic. With less number of invocation of this procedure, my application is working fine, but when the number of invocations are getting increased this procedure is throwing Lock wait timeout exception. My Question is will Procedure creates temporary tables dynamically..? As in my procedure I am using Truncate statement which may cause to release all transactions. I am not DBA, please help me out of this.

    Currently a user makes a purchase and then a license is generated and sent to that user, but the license isn't tied to a physical computer so there is nothing to prevent the user sharing the license with someone. I heard people talk about creating a license tied to the mac address of the computer, so the license only works on that computer. Now I know how to get the mac address in code but I dont understand how I can do this step when they first make the purchase on the web, so please what is the basic algorithm for node locked licenses ?

    I have a bunch of monochrome (1bpp) PNG images I want to load, and pass to pdfSharp. Using Image.FromFile loads images fine, but it alawys uses 32BPP, regardless of the pixel depth of the file. That results in very large PDF files generated. Is there a way to load images in their native pixel depth?

    Hello, .NET 4.0 I am looking for the easiest way to generate a Word document on our server. Limitations : Server side I don't want to install word on the server Data source is XML I tried to generate a DOCX with XSLT which is fast and easy but the only way I could find to validate the generated document is to open it with Word and the only error I get when the document is not valid is "Error while opening document".     The signature of the hashCode() method is public int hashCode(){ return x; } in this case x must be an int(primitive) but plz can anyone explain it to me that the number which the hashCode() returns must be a prime number, even number...etc or there is no specification ? the reason behind i am asking this question is i have seen it in different ids the auto generated code always returns a prime number, so i need to know why? thanks in advance

I miss that WSDL creation point in, for example this http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/library/ws-pojo-springcxf/ tutorial. No wsdl file is generated. But still it should be present in my case to provide system interoperability.
